Race 1: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**

(4) POCOHONTAS has missed some time, but she last raced against the filly who went on to win the Breeders Crown final so this is a mighty class drop. I'll give her the nod despite being inactive for 3 1/2 weeks. (5) R PRECIOUS PEARL made a powerful move on the final turn last week only to be picked off by a tripped-out winner late. She should be the main threat tonight. (8) CASH HUDSON was right there until the 1/16th pole last week when he went rough when under pressure. His breaking issues are worrisome but he can take a share if he stays flat. (10) IMPORTER EXPORTER can pass some of these late and he is worth a look for the bottom of the Super.

Race 2: CLM HDCP $12,000 to $18,000

(5) P L IDAHO was absolutely flying in deep stretch last week but he was too far back. He isn't the easiest horse to drive, but he can beat these if he gets put into the race earlier. (3) SPECTRUM SEELSTER was claimed by Auciello who has clicked with 4 of 19 (19%) of fresh claims so far this year. He should be a speed threat tonight; using. (6) MACHIN A TRICK had designs on making the lead when he broke on the first turn last week. Making his second start off the Moreau claim, he can contend if he behaves tonight. (7) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ should close to land in the Tri or Super again tonight.

Race 3: HARVEST SERIES FINAL ONT. SIRED 2YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(8) LENIS is getting good at the right time and he could get a setup for his sharp late kick in this final where there should be some battling for the front; call to upset. (9) KIPPER WHIPR SNIPR and (3) ANGELS EXPRESS both sailed through the preliminary legs but now they meet head on going for $44,800. They are both obvious contenders, but I wonder if they set the table for the choice by disputing the lead early in the mile. (4) IMA STANDUP GUY has raced decently in both preliminary legs and he should be part of the Super in this final.

Race 4: CLM HDCP $8,000 to $10,000 - Pick 4

(8) LUKE AND DUKE was well driven to victory by McClure here last week and the outside post should pose no problem as he has the gate speed to get position; call to repeat. (5) DREAMFAIR B J, 2nd to the choice last week, has improved with Macdonald driving and he is in with a decent chance here; using. (3) COOL ROCK is pace dependent and I'm not sure he will get the late meltdown that he needs tonight. I'll use him underneath. (6) ON CRUISE CONTROL has the speed to get into contention early and stick around for a share.

Race 5: HARVEST SERIES FINAL 2YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(5) RON has won both legs leading up to this final with driver Hudon not moving a muscle in the lane in either win. He gets top call here. (3) SPORTS ADVISOR is the other one that won both of his preliminary legs and he could go favored here. It's hard to see anyone other than these two winning this stakes final. (4) RIDINLIKEYASTOLEIT didn't get the best trip last week. I can see him improving here and being an exotics factor. (8) DON’T POKE THE BEAR had no chance being first up in a 26 4/5 final 1/4. He can close to take a piece of this.

Race 6: F&M 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,600 LT - Pick 5

Tough race here. I'll side with (5) PUTYOURBETDOWN who qualified faster than most of her rivals are race timed in. (4) BETTOR DEAL brings some good form in from Flamboro and her potent early speed should play well in this field; using. (2) DILLY TARYN made what looked like a threatening move last week before tailing off late. She should be a threat vs. these. (3) BIG LADY J is in solid form and she should be good for a share here.

Race 7: 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $22,000 (F&M $30,000) LT - Pick 4

(6) SOUTHWIND DOMINO takes on elders here after trying the Breeders Crown eliminations and he has the speed to beat these; top call. (1) ROSE RUN WHY NOT gets a driver upgrade tonight and she should be looking to trip out again. She could be the one to fend off late. (3) ELBE was bet like she couldn't lose off the barn and driver change and she disappointed as the 1 to 2 chalk. She can improve here and she might pop at a much better price; using. (10) WARRAWEE WELCOME should flash early speed again and I can see her sticking around at a price to and in the Super.

Race 8: CLAIMING $17,500 for NW $75,000 LT

(8) JUSTA BANDIT always looked like the winner last week and he gets the call to repeat facing similar. (3) MACHED UP shoots for the threepeat here and he could get another good trip. He's the other one that will be on my late multi-race tickets. (4) ROCK AND TWIST couldn't track down the choice last week now he returns quicker. He's not out of this. (2) BETTORS VICTORY should sit another good trip and stay for a share.

Race 9: F&M NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10

(3) WANNASHAKEYOURTREE had a long trip last week which should tighten her up nicely after missing 22 days and sipping west from the Maritimes. From a much better post tonight, she gets the nod. (2) SPELLCHECK HANOVER drops to the bottom conditioned level tonight and she should wake up in this spot; using. (7) GREYSTONE NATALI O was in heavy traffic in early stretch and she closed well when she finally found clear racetrack. She is in with a chance vs. these. (5) CRANBERRY BRIE has been racing well at Flamboro Downs and she is worth a look for the exotics racing off the claim.

Race 10: CLAIMING $17,500 for NW $35,000 LT

(1) ELROY SHINER gets away from Mached Up who has beaten him twice in a row and he faces easier here. He is clear top pick for me tonight. (5) CUTTING CLASS can be expected to improve in the second start racing out of the Barrington barn and he should be the main threat. (4) ROCK N ZEUS made a break last week when favored. He should be part of the exotics if he behaves this time. (3) TOUCH EM ALL JOE figures to rally past a few of these late and take a share. (8) BAD EYE BILL is another closer worth using in the High-5.
