(7) ALWAYSABEACHDAY closed ground late while the pace accelerated and she seems to fit well here; using. (8) CONTROL THE THONG is another that likely fits better in this spot and she can pass some of these late to take a share. (4) FERN HILL BELLA took her life's mark at this track last year. She could sneak into the exotics at a price tonight. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT (6) NORTHERN BLIZZARD took a lot of action last week then raced evenly. I could see him improving tonight and I'll give him the slight nod in this spot. (1) OCEANVIEW PRINCE, a $15,000 online auction buy, is a 1/2-brother to a five-time winner. I like the late speed he showed in his lone qualifier and I'll use him in the Pick 5. (8) R PRECIOUS PEARL will probably be favored again and I have to let her beat me at this point. (10) ILLUSIONAL was a $160,000 Lexington buy who has high profile connections. As a late-starting 2-year-old starting from post 10, he will probably get a conservative drive, but I can see him making a late charge to land in the Super. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Mohawk Park card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: Pop Up Event 1st Leg (1) RYDGEMONT SON N got the clean line he needed heading into this series and he should get a more aggressive drive now; slight nod. (4) MUSCLES FOREVER is obviously one of the fastest horses in here and he is hard to leave off Pick 5 tickets. (2) CHEATALOTPOV should find many of these easier then the Preferred 3 class at Flamboro Downs and he can hit the ticket tonight. (6) CLUB BELVEDERE is worth a look for the exotics off the barn and driver changes. Race 4: F&M Claiming $15,000 for NW $25,000 LT Pick 4 (1) CARD COLLECTOR maintained her solid form last week and if she is a bit closer this time. She can beat these; top call. (8) NOTHINGHOLDINMEBACK got a good steer from surging young teamster Sorrie last week to take the win and she rates highly right back; using. (4) OUTRAGEOUS SONG can improve here in her third start back following a sick scratch. She is another possibility for multi-race tickets. (6) SAULSBROOK EASY can show more early speed tonight getting off the rail post position; consider for the bottom of the exotics. Race 5: Pop Up Event Fillies and Mares (6) GREYSTONE NATALI O had pace but nowhere to go in the lane last week and she caused interference looking for room that also made her break. She could be a square price tonight and I'll take a swing with her. (3) CATCH AN ACE fits well here and she had the perfect tightener for this, but she tends to be win shy, so I wouldn't take a short price. (2) TAKEYOURBREATHAWAY will likely pass a few of these and take a small share. (5) AMASA ARION raced better last week. She should be in the exotics mix again tonight. Race 6: Pop Up Event First Leg Pick 5 (5) WESTFIFTYSECOND is the fastest horse in here and he gets a huge driver switch to the leading reinsman. He is a single for me. (6) THE MAGIC OF LIFE shows some good races vs. the top company in Ottawa. He can be an Exacta factor if he stays flat tonight. (7) HOLDIN ACES will be passing horses late and he should get up for a spot in the Tri. (2) SIR CHOPIN isn't likely to be left alone on the lead for very long this time; small share predicted. Race 7: Claiming Handicap $8,000 to $10,000 (8) ON CRUISE CONTROL dodges Luke And Duke tonight and he races off the claim for a trainer that has won with 20 of 61 starters this year after winning only 22 races in his first 276 starts that spanned 15 years; top call. (9) EXCALIBER SEELSTER makes his third start following the Barrington claim and he drops to the bottom claiming level; expect improvement tonight. (1) WINDSONG NAPOLEON was game in defeat last week and he never gets bet; using underneath. (2) COOL ROCK is always closing late and he is hard to leave out of the exotics. Race 8: Pop Up Event 1st Leg Pick 4 (9) PHEONIX's Vernon lines are good enough to beat these and he gets to call being sent out by Moreau on the barn change. (3) TUCKERS OUT got hammered to favoritism last time and he didn't get the greatest trip. He looks like a viable contender here. (8) ROWLEN has the best form, but he is 0 for 12 this year and he hasn't raced in four weeks. What price would you accept? (7) MAGICS WIZARD is worth using on the quick comeback. He isn't impossible in this spot. Race 9: Pop Up Event 1st Leg (6) FILTER HANOVER woke up with a much better effort last week and she gets major post relief. A repeat of that performance can get the job done here. (3) SHEMARS LADY HAVOC is another that was good last week and she retains the leading driver tonight. She should be the one to fend off late. (9) SIRIUS STAR has the speed to contend with these but I prefer to use her underneath in this spot. (2) TEMAGAMI SEELSTER seems to fit okay here after racing in the higher classes at the B tracks but she is another that seems more likely to take a smaller share. Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter Race 10: Pop Up Event 1st Leg (5) NEVER MIND N faces easier and he is sent out by a hot barn. If he stays flat this time, he should be tough in this spot. (2) WARRAWEE WINDSOR has improving form and McNair had other options in this race, but he stuck with him for this return drive. I'll use him in the late multi-race tickets. (7) COMPASS ROSE DC has been hitting the board regularly in some tough conditioned races in Ohio. She can take a share here. (8) THEE DESPERADO finds a way to blow up the tote board every once in a while. He has upset potential. Race 11: Claiming $17,500 for NW $77,000 (8) SUNNY BO raced well last week considering that he contributed to the swift early pace then made another move. The race was dominated by late closers and he hung in there for a share. He can win this with an easier trip. (5) RADLEY HANOVER gets McNair tonight and he should get a better trip leaving from an improved post; using. (6) JUSTA BANDIT is in the mix every week and he is another possibility for the late Pick 4. (1) ROCK AND TWIST had the freshest legs late last week and he sailed past some winded leaders. He is in with a shot again, but he could be an underlay this time. (10) CUTTING CLASS would be rated higher if he drew better. From out there, I'll use him underneath.
