Race 1: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) RACE OR $8,500 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES. AE: 3 YR OLDS N/A $985 P/S IN 2024 **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
This is a good spot for (8) FLANAGAN SUNSHINE, who doesn’t have to face streaking Move Your Mass this time and she gets the nod to break her maiden in her seventh try. (6) HELLION was bumpy gaited on debut and still almost won. He is obviously talented, but somewhat risky based on what we saw last week. (7) PILLOW THIEF draws better for this second start back and I like that he tried to blast last week. He is another possibility for the Pick 5, and he should offer a good price. (5) MONI ALL DAY can close for another small slice in this spot.

Race 2: FILLIES & MARES, CLAIMING $20,000 TO $25,000 FOR NW $50,000 (OS $62,500) LIFETIME. AE: N/A $1,250 P/S IN 2023-24
(4) BIG DIAMOND was driven very aggressively last week to get the job done at this level and she has a good chance to repeat facing many of the same rivals tonight. (2) ULTRA won at this level in October and I could see her getting better position early in this mile and threatening the choice; using. (1) WOODMERE MACARENA was too far back last time when 4th to the choice. She will be closer here in this short field and she is another in with a chance. (7) RED DIRT FLASH tripped-out to finish 2nd to the choice last week. I prefer to use her underneath starting from the widest post tonight.

Race 3: 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $8,500 LIFETIME
(7) HES STILL WATCHING never really got involved after leaving from the rail last week. He makes his third start in a row on a seven-day rotation now and I like post 7 better for him. I’ll side with him in a race with no standout. (4) WHATS YOUR LIMITS qualified well for this return and he still has some upside. He could add some value to the early Pick 5. (8) STOPWATCH was better last week but he continues to be a money burner. He is one that I’ll have to let beat me here. (1) PUFFS LAST SHADOW is in easier here and he can land in the exotics.
Race 4: FILLIES & MARES, 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $8,500 LIFETIME Pick 4
(1) I DREAM OF JEANIE immediately improved with the driver change to Macdonald last week, but a big favorite was too good. That was a solid effort, and she has a good chance to take her second win here. (2) ALLSTAR TWINKLE raced well to be 3rd in that race, she got outsprinted late in the mile. She should be the main threat. (4) CAFE SOLO closed well for a slice on debut and then she missed a week. She can close for another share here; using underneath. (7) CHASIN RAINBOWS is always around the money and she should be part of the exotics again.
Race 5: FILLIES & MARES, CLAIMING $20,000 TO $25,000 FOR NW $30,000 (OS $37,500) LIFETIME
(3) SAULSBROOK ANNIE made an aggressive move popping pocket on the final turn last week then she bravely held off challengers on either side late in the mile. She gets the call to repeat. (5) MY LAST KISS was closing on the choice and Macdonald sticks here over that rival. She is the other one that I’ll use on multi-race tickets. (4) DONTMESSWITHMOLLY will probably be more aggressive in this spot and she should be part of the Tri or Super. (2) SPEAKINGOFSHADOW regularly finishes on the edges and she is a good one to use on the bottom.
Race 6: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) RACE OR $8,500 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES. AE: 3 YR OLDS N/A $985 P/S IN 2024 Pick 5
(1) GREEN MONSTER took a lot of action last week but simply got too far behind early. He has a shot here if Hudon can leave a bit better with him. (5) SEQUENCE HANOVER couldn’t convert as the chalk to run his record to 1 for 34, but he gets the leading driver now and this isn’t a tough spot. I wouldn’t be shocked if he led all the way tonight. (4) SUPERSONIC HANOVER comes off a decent effort racing near the front and he can get position early and ride it to another share tonight. (2) STONEBRIDGE GLEE produced a fast kicker last week. He is improving and he is in the mix again.
Race 7: 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $8,500 LIFETIME Pick 4
(3) ADMIRAL DEO lacked room in the pocket in the lane last week and he got an inside run when it was too late. He is going to graduate soon and there is a good chance it will be tonight. (1) RULE THE WEST took a lot of action then raced well in defeat vs. a strong winner. He should be the main threat to the choice here. (7) WICKED DANCER’s debut was decent and Macdonald sticks. He could improve enough to beat these; using. (8) THEYMAKEUSBETTER flashed good late speed last week. He can sneak into the bottom of the exotics.
Race 8: CLAIMING HANDICAP $8,000 TO $10,000
(5) HERESTHATMANAGAIN crushed many of tonight’s rivals last week, and he gets the call to repeat at a short price. (7) MACH SILVER was no match for the choice in that race and he likely completes another chalky Exacta. (3) HES GOT SWAGGER can improve enough in this second start since being claimed by Demers to land in the bottom of the exotics tonight. (2) CHOREOGRAPHER will blast for position and probably stick around for a small share here.

Race 9: FILLIES & MARES, CLAIMING HANDICAP $8,000 TO $10,000
(5) DEL DIGGITY showed her typical grit last week to keep coming first up and get 2nd. Racing off the Smith claim, I’ll give her the nod to turn the tables on (3) FEARLESS SHELIA. The latter got a more rated trip last week and she was never getting caught. She is the obvious one to beat. (6) GOLDEN LEADER, 3rd to the top two last week, can sit another good trip and land in the Tri again. Veteran (1) HILLBILLY JET is no stranger to Mohawk Park. She compiled a great record this year and she can be part of the Super here.
Race 10: CLAIMING $20,000 TO $25,000 FOR NW $47,800 LIFETIME
(6) HESTONATOR makes his third start back off a lame scratch, gets off the rail and draws best, and he has J R Plante listed to drive, which to me means he is on “go”; call to upset. (5) GLADIATOR S BG raced aggressively in defeat last week in a decent effort and he should be a threat here; using. (4) ARAGONITE paced way too fast to the 1/2 last time. He can get a better trip here and he is in the mix. (3) ALLSTAR PLAYBOY flew home in his qualifier, and he is worth using here on the barn change. (10) BRINGITONHOMETOME would be rated higher if he drew better, but he isn’t impossible in this spot.
