Top Pick Stats: 16 – 53 / $80.20 (-$25.30) Best Bets: 3 – 5 / $8.50 (-$1.50) Spot Plays: 0 – 5 / $0 (-$8.00) Best Bet: WAITINONAWOMAN (4TH) Spot Play: BETCHULOVEME (2ND) Early Pick 5: 4,7/4,6,7/2,3,4/1/4,8,9,10 = $14.40 Late Pick 5: 1,2,5/5,6/1,7/2,3/5 = $4.80 Early Pick 4: 1/4,8,9,10/1,2,5/5,6 = $4.80 Late Pick 4: 5,6/1,7/2,3/5 - $1.60 Race 1: 4YO and younger NW1 or $7,500 LT **$100,000 Pick 5 (4) WINDSUN DIEGO moved first-up last week but the winner vacated the pocket on the final turn, beating him to the punch. He closed willingly just missing 2nd behind (7) QUENTIN QUARANTINO. These two should battle it out for the win here and I’ll use both to kick off the Pick 5. (1) DANCE ON THE MOON almost stole a win at a big price last time but I don’t see him getting away on the front end again. I’ll use him underneath. (5) ACEFORTYFOURAPOLLO can close for a small share in this spot.  [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: F&M CLM $10,000 to $12,000 (4) BETCHULOVEME finished with lots of pace racing off the Lester claim but she had nowhere to go in the closing strides. I’ll give her the nod here expecting Roy to get her in the flow this time. (6) HILLBILLY JET got an inside run in the lane and edged a game (7) PLAYA DUHARAS. Both are capable and merit consideration for the early Pick 5. (1) SHAKEITIFYOUGOTIT should get an easier trip here and land a share. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Mohawk Park card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: 5YO and younger NW1 or $7,000 LT (4) VALENTINE BLUECHIP got hammered at the windows for her second start following a decent debut and she converted. This field is no tougher and she gets the call to repeat. (2) JONNY BOOTS is now 0-for-18 but he raced better last week, and he should be the main danger here. (3) ULTRA LADY S should sit closer to the front tonight starting from a better post and I see her closing for a share. (1) WHATS THE POINT should be good for a small share in this spot. Race 4: F&M CLM $20,000 for NW $50,500 LT Pick 4 (1) WAITINONAWOMAN drops into a claimer and gets Macdonald tonight. She gets the nod in a spot where she is likely to get aggressive early; top call. (8) ULTRA comes out of a very fast mile for this class. This race will likely be paced in the 1:54-1:55 range and that puts her in the picture. (5) MISS MAYCEE couldn’t go with the hot McVera last week but she was best of the rest. She is in the exotics mix again here. (3) FATED FIRE is a good one to use on the bottom of the exotics.  Race 5: 5YO and younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 LT (8) KING FURY won his first start for Gillis, and Macdonald sticks with him over others here. He should offer another good price stepping up to NW2 and I’ll stick with him. (9) COLLECTOR S had the best late trot but he was too far back. Now that he got a clean line down, he should be more aggressive here; using. (4) LOOKS LIKE GAME ON was an easy first-up winner and he is hard to leave off multi-race tickets. (10) ETERNALLY HANOVER should offer a square price from the widest post and he is another to consider for multi-race tickets.   Race 6: 4YO and younger NW1 or $7,500 LT Pick 5 (5) LANESIDE SPORTSTAR couldn’t go with Bar Down Jim late in the mile last time, but he is in easier here and he is a threat to lead all the way. (1) LYONS BRUSHMARKS is 1-for-21 but he is also the only winner in the field, and he comes in off a good closing effort. He should be the one to fend off late. (2) THE HULK raced okay in his local debut considering he missed three weeks and he is another in with a shot here. (4) CAPTAIN NASHVILLE raced better in his second start and he can close for a share. Race 7: F&M CLM $8,000 Pick 4 (5) PROUD OF MY ROOTS drops and gets Macdonald, and she likely leads all the way vs. these. (6) MARINA DEL REY, stablemate to the choice, is the other one that will likely be leaving hard and she could be a pocket rocket in the lane. She is the other one that I’ll use on multi-race tickets. (2) DEL DIGGITY showed some late kick in his first start over this track and now he draws better, which gives him a chance to land in the money. (4) BOOKIE BABY is another that closed well that should be in the exotics mix here. Race 8: 5YO and younger NW1 or $7,000 LT (1) FASHION CONTENDER may have squandered a win on 12/24 when he broke in the lane, but he ships north in good form, and he gets the nod moving into the West barn. The only other serious contender on paper, (7) ARCHIMEDES, keeps closing too late. He looks like he is sitting on a win but it’s hard to predict what kind of drive he will get. (2) HP ADALINE comes off a good effort with the trotting hopples on and she is worth using underneath. (5) LOOKS LIKE MAGIC is fast enough to contend for a share if he stays flat this time. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: F&M CLM HDCP $14,000 to $18,000 (2) KICKIN COWGIRL drops and she was a winner in 1:54-flat last time she raced at this level. She is a big threat to lead all the way. (3) GOLDIES ROCKIN figures to get another great trip racing near the front and she is hard to leave off late multi-race tickets. (4) DARKRSHADEOFPALE N wins one of every five starts on average and she is a stout closer when there is a solid pace to chase. I think the pace scenario is against her in this short field and I’ll use her underneath. Race 10: CLM $20,000 for NW $39,250 LT (5) HESTONATOR was much better in his second local start as expected, making a big third 1/4 move then hanging on for the win. He gets the call to repeat facing similar. (7) STARS TREASURE gave the choice all he could handle late in that race and he should be an Exacta factor here. (2) THE SERPENT chose to stay in, got room at the head of the lane, and he couldn’t make it up on the top two choices despite having clear sailing. He is likely a fringe player here. (4) ARTHUR SHELBY figures to close for another small slice in this spot. (1) OLCZYK is worth a look for the High-5 getting Borth in the bike.
