Race 1: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT **GTD $100,000 Pick 5**

(1) MASSENO took a ton of action last time in a Grassroots race but nothing went right for him from the start. I'll give him the nod here. (5) MEADOWBRANCH NOBLE couldn't fight off the pocket sitter last time but that was a good effort and he should be one of the main contenders here. (2) LINGER HANOVER has obvious talent but also gait issues. If he stays trotting, he is in with a decent chance vs. these. (3) ALPINA has had 17 chances and taken only a few slices but her most recent effort was good, and she isn't impossible in this spot.

Race 2: CLAIMING $8,000

(5) WORKING CLASS HERO races off the Shepherd claim and I'll give him the nod in a field where there isn't much good recent form. (4) SUNSHINES FINEST improved with James Macdonald in the bike and he keeps the drive here; upset chance. (8) KINGSLEY B faced tougher last time and had to start from the second tier. Getting his nose on the gate against a weaker group makes him a contender in this spot; using. (2) MCSINNER MAN gets Saftic here which is an upgrade; consider for Tri and Super bets.

Race 3: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000

(7) MAGICS WIZARD fell just short last time in a good effort and he gets top call here in a race that seemingly has few contenders, (10) OXFORD HALL is one of the best ones in here and if he works out a decent trip from post 10, he will be right there. (3) CAVALIER GEORGE showed the signs last time with a 27 2/5 kicker and he is another one to consider for Pick 5 usage. (1) UMPTEEN HANOVER should be good for a share if he stays flat this time.

Race 4: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10 - Pick 4

(6) MAGIC NIGHT blew up as chalk in this class last week and the competition is no tougher in this race. If he trots tonight, he can make amends. (1) FITZGIBBONS had no chance with the trip her got and he gets post and class relief now; upset chance. (3) QUESO FRESCO raced okay in her first start back at Mohawk Park and she is another that might find this class easier; using. (9) WINNING AMERICAN’s most recent start makes him a contender if he can work out a trip from out there.

Race 5: CLAIMING HDCP $15,000 to $20,000

(8) MACH IMPACT had five claims in on him last week and he ended up going to Fellows who has a high strike rate racing one off the claim. He gets my nod here. (9) QUAN BLUE CHIP showed last week that he can overcome the 9-hole and he should be a threat right back racing for a tag here. (3) OAKROCK ELDORADO raced well off the claim in a fast race and he should be in the mix here. (1) BUDDHA BLUE CHIP seems to be coming back around and he is more than capable of beating these if he brings his best race.

Race 6: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 3YO COLTS and GELDINGS - Pick 5

(1) MOON BRIDGE got a good tightener in against elders in leading up to this and he had missed almost a month then. Sharp improvement is expected here, and he gets top billing. (5) THREEFIFTYTWO doesn't have to face mighty Pemberton here and in this short field he rates highly; using. (4) HAYEK is another who figures to improve here, and he could get a nice trip racing near the front this time. There are some things to like with this gelding. (3) COMBS HANOVER should pass a couple of these and take a share.

Race 7: 2YO NW2 or $30,000

(1) CONTROL HEAVEN is going to take heavy action here having raced in the Metro final recently and he should be tough in this spot. (4) RAU RU benefitted from a wild early pace, but he did make a nice late move and capitalize, and he should be a factor here. (2) MAJOR BEAN faces tougher, but he isn't a bad fit here and I see him landing in the Tri coming in off a nice win. (7) KINCAID SEELSTER can make another late move here to take a share. He will be on my Tri and Super tickets.

Race 8: 4YO and Younger NW 2 (F&M 3) or $22,000 (F&M $25,000) - Pick 4

(4) HOT TOPIC dropped several seconds last time and he stacks up well vs. this group; top call. (2) VICTOR INVICTUS blasted, cleared then took a shuffle. He also fits well here, and his sharp gate speed will be an asset; using. (10) LADY TITAN is capable of getting involved if she can stay flat. From post 10 though I'd demand a price if you like her. (7) TITANS DREAM was in against a sharp colt that was taking a repeat win last time. I can see him being closer vs. this field.

Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 3YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(4) PEMBERTON is the class of this division right now and he should be very tough to beat at a short price. (3) H P ROYAL THEO is racing well right now, but he was no match for the choice last time; Exacta factor. (1) HOT WHEELZ is likely going to get an easier trip here starting from the inside and he should make the Tri ticket. (2) BABIDIBOU brings good form with him from Quebec and he is another who can sit a nice trip here and take a slice.

Race 10: 4YO and Younger NW 2 (F&M 3) or $22,000 (F&M $25,000)

(10) ROWLEN was coming last race but it was too late, and the pace was too strong. He can beat these if he gets put into the race early enough. (6) MAGIC WANDA comes off a nice Grassroots effort and she should be a big player in here; using. (3) TOCCOA FALLS was bet off the board last time and he showed little. I see him blasting for position this time and getting a better result. (4) GO TIME should be good for another small share.

Race 11: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10

(6) SUNNY BO made two early moves to ensure he was on the front and he hung in gamely. Off that sharp effort he gets top billing here. (9) PREMIER JOY A faces easier and he should get sent hard leaving. He is on my late Pick 4 ticket. (5) PRESTIGE SEELSTER drops to the bottom conditioned level which puts him into play vs. these. (2) TIGERS WAY was flying late but he often finds himself closing for a share when the winner has already been decided. I'll use him underneath. (3) SIDDHARTHA fits better here and he should be in the High-5 at the wire.
