(3) TEMPTATION DEO was close with Macdonald in the bike two starts back and she gets that driver back tonight; top call in the opener. (9) SEQUENCE HANOVER gets first-time McNair with J Mac opting for the choice and he figures to be the main threat here, likely racing on the engine; using. (8) MAGICS ANGEL EYES has closed well in two straight, but she will likely get a long trip here again and I’ll use her on the bottom. (4) KADABRAKABOOM can get an easier trip and close for a share.

Race 2: CLAIMING $8,000

(4) FERN HILL BREEZE will likely be happy to see Mach Silver missing from this field and he should be able to get the job done vs. these; top call. (5) MILITARY SECRET, who took his lifetime mark of 1:50 3/5 here in July, will likely blast off the gate and he is worth using in the early Pick 5. (6) CHOREOGRAPHER’s strategy is never a secret. He will blast off the gate for the front and see how far he can go. I prefer to use him underneath tonight. (3) PASSIONATE PRINCE raced well at this level in two straight and he should be in the exotics mix again.

Race 3: HARVEST SERIES: ONTARIO SIRED 2 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS, NW $30,000 IN 2024 AS OF SEPTEMBER 30TH 2024. LEG 2

(3) HIDE THE WICK failed as the chalk last week coming off a rest and now he gets the often deadly first-time McNair angle. I’ll take a swing with him here. (5) MERROW was the first leader, took a shuffle then re-rallied to win in leg 1 and he could repeat coming off that sharp effort. (4) HP BELLISSIMO raced great in defeat to the choice, making a big middle move to the front then just getting picked off late. He would be no surprise here. (1) WINCHESTER PHOENIX closed okay in leg 1 and he should get another piece of the purse here.

Race 4: 2 YEAR OLDS: NW 1 RACE OR $8,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES. AE: 3 YEAR OLDS NW $2,250 LAST 5 STARTS Pick 4

(4) GIVE ME A YANKEE was good in his debut, closing for 2nd behind a rival that has since taken a win and a 2nd in the Harvest Series. The only concern here is the 21 days between starts. I thought (6) SUSHI BAR raced okay last week, making a sustained middle move to the front before tiring late. He can be closer with a different trip here and he is worth a look for early multi-race tickets. (10) TYMAL EMERALD has the speed to get position leaving the gate and he can take another share here. (7) ZIPPY ZIPPORAH could be part of the exotics on the barn change.

Race 5: 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $8,500 LIFETIME

Macdonald got a test drive on (5) ADMIRAL DEO last week and now he gets off the rail. He should be more aggressive tonight; top call. (10) HES STILL WATCHING gave it a good shot on the engine two starts back from post 9, and he can be a big threat if he leaves hard tonight, but it’s hard to predict if he will blast or take back. Your call. (1) BETTOR BE EARLY has had 15 tries already and I don’t love the rail for him here. I’ll use him underneath. (3) LONGSHOT PANIC can get position early and stick around for a share in this spot.

Race 6: HARVEST SERIES: ONTARIO SIRED 2 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS, NW $30,000 IN 2024 AS OF SEPTEMBER 30TH 2024. LEG 2 Pick 4

(2) MOVE YOUR MASS was a comfortable winner in leg 1 and he should be hard to beat if he stays flat tonight. (10) THAT DUDE made a couple of moves when 2nd to the choice and he gets Macdonald tonight. He is the obvious danger. (6) GRITTY HANOVER raced well in the recently concluded Autumn Series at Flamboro, but this is tougher; small share predicted. (3) JAYPORT CASH, 3rd to the choice last week, can land another share tonight.

Race 7: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 (FM 3) RACES OR $28,250 LIFETIME. AE: N/A $1,090 P/S IN 2024 Pick 4

(5) SOUTHVIEW AVIATOR was really good here on 10/17, then he lost McNair and broke stride. He gets top billing starting from the best post with McNair back in the bike. (9) MARKET BANKER raced well last week, but the winner was just too good. He could beat these if he gets put into the race from the widest post; using. (7) DENALI DEO was a neck behind the choice then elevated when the choice got set back for a pylon violation. He is in the exotics mix again. (2) VERACRUZ was out a long way and still took 4th. He is worth using underneath here.

Race 8: FILLIES & MARES, CLAIMING $20,000 TO $25,000 FOR NW $30,000 (OS $37,500) LIFETIME. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE. AE: N/A $1,065 P/S IN 2024

(3) KENOGAMI HEART absolutely crushed at this level last week and she will be very hard to beat if she comes anywhere close to replicating that effort. (5) PAM was used hard early and had no response for the choice. She could be much closer here with a different trip. (7) ALLSTAR CAROLINE wasn’t far behind Pam for 2nd last week. She should be good for another share here. (9) ACEFORTYFOUR DAISY should pass some of these late and land in the bottom of the exotics.

(5) BRUNO NO NO NO took some sneaky money last week, and man was he ready to fire. He gets the call to repeat off that sharp return effort. (2) BUNKHOUSE BOSS probably needed last week’s start and he could add some value to the Exacta here with that tightener under his belt. (1) SHINING MOMENT went too fast early last week, and he was empty for the stretch drive. He could be closer here if he finds an easier trip. (3) SCRATCHIN AN ITCH contributed to the fast early pace last week. He is another that may look for a trip here, and he will likely be part of the exotics.

Race 10: 3 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS: GRASSROOTS STARTERS

(10) SATURDAY tries to win on Thursday for the second straight week and he looks best here. He gets the call to repeat despite drawing widest. (1) ROYAL DUHARAS was a decent Grassroots performer in the summer, and he could add some value to late multi-race tickets with the 15-1 morning line quote; using. (7) HUNGRY HILL, 2nd to the choice last week, should be a threat again here, but I prefer to use him underneath. (8) FABULOUS FREDDIE always seems to be closing too late. I’ll use him on the bottom. (9) R PEAKY BLINDERS qualifier on 10/25 was good and he could better this placing if he gets a good trip.
