Meet Stats: 291- 941 / $1679.10 (-$202.90)
Best Bets: 48 - 83 / $155.70 (-$10.30)
Spot Plays: 13 - 85 / $108.50 (-$60.10)
Best Bet:
RAU RU (8TH)
Spot Play: CAVALIER GEORGE (6TH)
Early Pick 5: 1,2,5,8/7,8/5/6,7,10/1,5,7 = $14.40
Late Pick 5: 6,7/3,5,7/7/3,5,8/2,7 = $7.20
Early Pick 4: 6,7,10/1,5,7/6,7/3,5,7 = $54
Late Pick 4: 7/3,5,8/2,7/1,2,6 = $18

Race 1: CLAIMING $8,000 **GTD $100,000 Pick 5**

(2) CROCADILE CANYON improved with McNair driving last time and this isn't the toughest spot. A slightly easier trip could lead to a trip to the winner's circle. (5) LEVY TAYLORE smoked easier at Flamboro Downs when claimed but he fits well here and he should be a big threat. (8) REACH FOR INFINITY showed some early zip with Jamieson in the bike for the first time. He has some upset potential here and his price should be good starting from a wide post. (1) DINNER AT THE MET should work out a following trip racing close to the front and take a slice.

Race 2: HARVEST SERIES 2ND LEG ONT SIRED 2YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(7) NO FREE LUNCH did all the heavy lifting last week, only to be picked off late by (8) SHAZAM BLUE CHIP who enjoyed a covered trip most of the way then pounced late. This race should come down to these two again and I'll give a slight nod to the former who might get the better trip this time, perhaps sitting in the latter's pocket. (5) BIG BANG BANG is capable of contending for a share if he stays flat this time; using underneath. (1) BET ON BLAKE gets post relief for this and he should be in the mix for the Tri and Super.

Race 3: HARVEST SERIES 2ND LEG ONT SIRED 2YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(5) PUBLICITY SEEKER produced wicked late speed to take a win in the first leg of this series and he looks very tough right back. (6) ARLANDA took over the lead in a slow second 1/4 and trotted home swiftly but he could not fend off the choice late; Exacta factor. (7) WARRAWEE WINDSOR was caught too far behind the slow pace and while he closed well for third, he was still well behind the choice; using underneath. (4) DEWY DEO, a $75K Lexington purchase, is worth a look on the connections alone.

Race 4: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10 - Pick 4

(6) FANCOURT pressed very fast splits for this class last week when making his first start off the shelf and he understandably backed up late. He can move up sharply here and he gets the nod. (10) ICY BLUE SCOOTER is an obvious threat dropping to the bottom conditioned level and he is a multi-race ticket must-use for me. (7) LEADER OF THE DANCE races out of Montini's barn here and picks up leading driver McClure. He's not one that I'll leave out of multi-race tickets. (1) SILVER BEAST has had some success here in the past. He's worth a look for the exotics.

Race 5: CLM $15,000 for NW $42,000

(7) WHAT UP MO fits much better in this conditioned claimer and I'll give him the nod in a race with no standouts. (1) HUNGER PANGS gets Henry back for a second drive and he drops back into a conditioned claimer. He could get aggressive early; using. (5) MACH DEISEL faces tougher here but you know that McNair will put him into the race and give him a chance. (3) RADLEY HANOVER comes out of two crazy-fast miles for the NW $3K L5 class and in a race that should go four to five seconds slower; he has to be considered for the Tri and Super.

Race 6: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 - Pick 5

(6) CAVALIER GEORGE made two moves in a nice effort last week and he gets the nod in this field. (7) SHE MUST BE MAGIC gets away from Grassroots foes here and she should find these maidens more to her liking; using. (4) OXFORD HALL is around the money every start and this week should be no different. I'll use him underneath in the Tri and Super. (1) SPUN FROM MAGIC is a great one to use on the bottom of the Super with so many "4s" in his past performances.

Race 7: 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $25,000)

(7) LINGER HANOVER stayed trotting last time and he delivered a no-doubt win now he faces similar and he gets the call to repeat. (3) WARRAWEE WHISPER missed close to a month between starts but still got the job done vs. elders and he should be dangerous again right back. (5) TITANIC KATE was game in defeat and she is another in with a chance here. (1) WARRAWEE VULCAN is capable of contending for a share if she stays flat; consider at a price.

Race 8: HARVEST SERIES 2ND LEG ONT SIRED 2YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(7) RAU RU was a confident winner in the opening leg of this series and off that strong effort he gets the call to repeat. (5) DOWNERS DELIGHT was no match for the choice but he has a good shot to complete the Exacta again here. (1) LAST BET is a good one to use on the bottom of the Tri as he frequently lands third. (4) SNAP CALL should be coming on late again to take a slice.

Race 9: F&M CLM $15,000 for NW $50,000 LT or NW $1,000 L5

(8) KOUNNIS should have a good chance of wiring this field and she gets top call. (3) KICKIN COWGIRL should move up dropping in for a tag and I'll use her in this late Pick 4. (5) KIT made a bit of headway late in the mile last week and now she draws better. She could sneak into the exotics here. (1) TRAGICALLY HEP should be good for another small share in this spot.

Race 10: 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $25,000)

(2) LMC BUMBLE BEE dropped out of Golds and was sharp winner in this class last time and she gets the call to repeat facing similar. (7) MODERN MASS did well to be beaten only two lengths in the OSS Superfinal considering the jackpot she was in early in the race. She may be overbet here, but she is a contender, nonetheless. (4) LEXUS MARKUS is around the money every start and he is a good bet to land in the bottom of the Tri or Super again tonight. (8) MEADOWBRANCH NOBLE might be rated higher from a better post but from out there I'll use him on the bottom.

Race 11: 4YO and Younger NW2 or $15,100 LT

(6) HES SWIFT was flying late last time after tracking a slow pace. I'll give him a slight nod in a tough race. (1) REAGAN BLUE CHIP is obviously fast enough for these if he is ready to produce a top effort and he is hard to leave off the late Pick 4. (2) GONNAHAVEONEMORE was game in defeat in a race where he made a couple of moves and he is an obvious threat again. (10) GOLDEN SAND figures to sit a trip and come on late for a share. (7) MAGNUS SEELSTER is always in the top five it seems and he could better this placing with a trip.
