Race 1: CLAIMING HANDICAP $12,000 to $15,000 **GTD $100,000 Pick 5**

(7) DR SPENGLER raced much better back in the care of Vanderkemp and I'll give him the nod here in a field he should beat if he is within striking range at the 3/4 pole. (6) TIKI TAKA was a game winner when claimed and he is a threat right back racing out of the Johnson barn. (10) ABRAS MOMENTOM gets a notable driver change to Young here; upset chance. (2) FLUFF ME UP has improved racing out of the West barn and he is another in with an upset chance in a contentious opener.

Race 2: CLAIMING $15,000 for NW $47,000 LT

(1) USURPER comes up tagged for the first time and in this conditioned claimer and he should have a good chance. (6) BEACH BABY BEE was facing tougher in claiming handicaps and he can improve sharply in this easier spot. (7) HUNGER PANGS brings good form in from the Maritimes and he should have the speed to go with these; using. (3) BALLPARKFRANK should be in the mix early and stick around for a share.

Race 3: 2YO NW1 or $7,000 LT

(6) RITSON was used hard to make front last week and he predictably tired late. Now he moves off the worst post into the best one; top call. (7) EXCLUSIVE ROSETTE is a 2-year-old filly taking on mixed gender elders, which isn't typically a recipe for success, but she shows some of the fastest miles and she isn't out of place here; using. (8) IMASHARPDEALER is another rookie trotter in with a shot in this spot but I prefer to use him underneath. (1) HEZ IN CONTENTION should get a good trip and work his way into the Tri or Super.

Race 4: CLAIMING HANDICAP $15,000 to $20,000 Pick 4

(5) OUTLAW GUNPOWDER took a new life's mark at age 9 last week and the barn that sends him out has been on fire recently; call to repeat. (3) STATE OF PLAY lost all chance due to an equipment break in the lane last week. He is worth a look at a price here. (9) P L IDAHO couldn't clear when trying to make front on the backside last week and now he drops. He is logical on paper but quirky; demand a price. (2) OAKROCK ELDORADO should be in the exotics mix here racing off the claim for Johnson.

Race 5: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10

This race should come down to (3) MARQUIS VOLO and (1) HP TITANIA RUNNER, who both get post relief coming off tough trips where they were driven aggressively. Slight nod to the former, who shows a win this year while the latter doesn't. (6) GREAT MAGIC should get a quick start here and stick around for a share. (2) RAMAS LAST SON has had many bad posts recently. He is worth a look for the exotics at a price.

Race 6: 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT Pick 5

(3) OXFORD HALL looks solid here getting his nose back on the gate and picking Henry up to drive while facing a field he should beat. (8) REGAL SEVEN should be the main rival if he can stay flat this time; using. (5) LINGER HANOVER is capable on his best, but what price will you accept considering his recurring gait issues? (10) TOM D BAKER may be able to sneak into the Super at a price.

Race 7: CLAIMING HANDICAP $10,000 to $12,000

(4) E L WILD SPIRIT goes for Fellows off the claim and he was a big winner racing out of that barn two starts back; top call. (1) GOOD EYE HAWKEYE was in a fast race won by a horse that came right back to repeat here on Monday night. He is in with a chance at a price. (5) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ fits much better in claimers and he came back into form when taken for a tag last week; using underneath. (2) LORIS ROCK STAR should come on late for a share again.

Race 8: 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 (F&M $25,000) Pick 4

(8) VICTOR INVICTUS was a solid second to a big chalk last week and he gets the nod here in a spot where he fits well. (4) PROTOSTAR is another who fits nicely in this class and he got an aggressive steer from Desroche last time. The time off due to sickness is concerning, however. (3) TYMAL RIGGS has been facing tougher in Grassroots races and he is another in with a shot in a race with no standouts. (1) MAJECTIC SUNRISE N is worth a look here making his second start out of the Vanderkemp barn.

Race 9: 2YO and 3YO NW1 or $7,000 LT

(7) SOLARCTIC produced an improved effort last week and he fits well here. He may go right down the road tonight. (5) FEAR THE SHADOW finished behind the choice as chalk last time and he is another who should contend in this field. (6) SEIZE CONTROL gets Jamieson for the first time which is often a potent betting angle; using. (8) RIGHT IDEA dropped more than five seconds in his recent qualifier and he wouldn't need to improve that much to be in the picture here.

Race 10: 4YO and Younger NW2 (F&M 3) or $20,000 (F&M $25,000)

(7) HEAVENSDOR HANOVER won his second start at 2 and he hasn't tasted victory in 37 starts since, but he looks best on paper here and he has a decent chance to break that lengthy losing streak. (5) MEADOWBRANCH NOBLE looked good beating maidens last week and he should be a threat right back; using. (3) ROCKADERO's form has improved recently and he is worth a look at a price for the late Pick 4. (2) ROYAL PEACH faces tougher here but that was a nice win at Flamboro. She can make it into the Tri or Super vs. these.

Race 11: F&M NW $3,100 L5 or $7,000 L10

(4) LADY ROCKNROLLA A drops again and perhaps she will be sent to the front early tonight, which would give her a good chance vs. this group. (1) CATCH A SECRET drops and races out of Moreau's barn and she is likely to wake up in this spot; using. (2) SMOKE N REACTOR N goes for hot connections and she is another in with a shot in a race that could go several ways depending on pace and trip. (5) TAKEYOURBREATHAWAY races best at this class level and she could spring the upset with the right trip. (7) DEB is likely to show speed and hang around for a slice.
