Race 1: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES SEMI-FINALS 2YO FILLIES **GTD $100,000 Pick 5**

(8) BAN BAN DEO raced tough on the rim at Flamboro Downs now she gets McClure back and he is likely to get her involved early in this semi-final race. She gets the nod. (6) TIPSY IN DIXIE has been good all year long and Macdonald is sure to be sending her. She will be tough if she is allowed a breather at any point. (7) ALL MUSCLE N SASS has improved as the season has progressed and she is worth a look for the Tri and Super. (1) SNOWFALLA is likely to sit a following trip and take a smaller share.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES SEMI-FINALS 2YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(2) FOUR WHEELIN is very tough racing at the Grassroots level and he is the one to catch and beat in this spot. (3) LIFELONG WISH will likely ride the choice's pocket here and she is the logical alternative. (5) MOSCOW MOON seems to be getting good at the best time and it wouldn't be a shock to see a colt out of the Steacy barn jump up and win here. (4) ROSIES WAR BONDS is capable of sitting a nice trip and nabbing a share if he stays trotting this time.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES SEMI-FINALS 2YO FILLIES

(1) SHIATZU SEELSTER is right there every time in Grassroots races and she should get another good trip here; top call. (6) CHIEFS DREAM GIRL is getting hot at the best time and she draws perfectly; the main threat. (10) COME ON SUN tuned up for this semi-final in a conditioned race and I see her passing some of these to take a share. (7) CONTROL THE THONG is another sharp filly who should be in the exotics mix.

Race 4: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES SEMI-FINALS 2YO COLTS AND GELDINGS - Pick 4

(8) SECOND BRUISER paired up 1:51 4/5 Grassroots wins leading up to this semi-final and if he produces another one, his rivals are racing for 2nd again. (9) CADILLAC BAYAMA gave the choice a race on the 17th and he is likely to be the main threat again despite drawing widest. (2) BIG TEDDY is lightly raced and Team McNair is always to be respected in sires stakes races. There are upset possibilities here. (5) WATCH MY BEVERAGE is another McNair trainee who appears to be going in the right direction; consider for the exotics.

Race 5: CLM HDCP $15,000 to $20,000

(9) ALLSTAR SEELSTER blasted to the front when claimed then took a big shuffle as the lead changed hands a couple of times. He goes for a barn that can move one up and he picks up Henry; speed blast coming? (5) OAKROCK ELDORADO is the other one racing off the claim that figures to be blasting and he should be a threat tonight. (3) J P OSCAR has improving form and he is one that should be flying late. He's on my early multi-race tickets. (2) MISSION THREE is capable of better if he gets put into the race this week but I prefer to use him underneath against some of these.

Race 6: NW $3,000 L5 or $8,400 L10 - Pick 5

(4) MORALLY FLEXIBLE took action when dropped to this level last week but he got used up early. He projects to get an easier time of it this week and he could lead these all the way. (9) HP TITANIA RUNNER figures dropping to the bottom level but she draws worst and typically doesn't leave the gate quickly; your call. (10) MARQUIS VOLO is another dropper who figures on class but draws poorly; using on the bottom. (8) POWER MOVE is worth a look for the exotics making his second start back, dropping and picking up Drury.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES SEMI-FINALS 2YO FILLIES

(6) NIGHTLIFE SEELSTER failed as a big chalk last time but McClure, who had other choices, sticks here and I expect her to rebound. (5) CL SPORTSEXTREME comes off a big uncovered effort in Quebec and she should be the main threat. (9) CELIA BAYAMA draws worst but she is right there every week and she could provide some multi-race value here. (10) OURLITTLEMIRACLE fits well at the Grassroots level and she certainly isn't out of this but she will need to find a winning trip from post 10.

Race 8: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES SEMI-FINALS 2YO FILLIES - Pick 4

(6) MAG N LADY has been dominating inferior competition in Quebec recently but she also shows some good Grassroots races earlier in the summer and I'll give her the nod here over (5) HP MAMA B who comes off a sharp win and is likely the one to beat. (7) TOP OF THE BAR is improving at the best time and she retains McClure here. She could be a threat. (3) EDGEWATER has talent, speed and gait issues. She is possible in this spot, but I'd need a price to back her.

Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES SEMI-FINALS 2YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(2) PROLINE has been lights out since he qualified on September 1st and I see him as the one to beat in this contentious semi-final. (4) TAKE CONTROL won the fastest Grassroots division on September 17th and he is obviously a threat here; using. (5) NO PLAN INTENDED has been right there every time Jamieson has driven and he is another possibility in a race that is likely to feature plenty of movement. (3) STONEBRIDGE REX was a good second to the choice last time and you can never discount a sharp McNair trainee in one of these races.

Race 10: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES SEMI-FINALS 2YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(5) HIGHLAND MOWGLI finally took a well-deserved maiden win last time and he fits best in Grassroots company. He should be tough to beat here. (3) INSANITY gets post relief after producing a nice effort from post 10 and he is an Exacta factor. (2) ALL THE TRIMMINS should be an exotics factor here starting from the inside; using underneath. (7) STOKED BLUE CHIP frequently takes small shares and he should be in the mix for a slice again.

Race 11: NW $3,000 L5 or NW $7,500 L10

(4) DREAMY FELLA gets huge barn and driver changes here and he should wake up but he might be bet off the board, too. (3) BIG BANG BOOM gets a second chance at this lowest level and he could last against this group. (9) QUAN BLUE CHIP made a threatening move in a quick mile now he returns quicker; price chance. (10) DRAGON TIME can go better here from post 10, maybe closing late for a share. (1) SUNNY BO figures to get a covered trip and land in the High-5.
