Late Pick-5: 2,3/4,6/5/8/3,5,6 $2.40
Race 1: NW $6,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $12,000 LAST 8 STARTS (W/O $16,000 LAST 8 STARTS N/E) AE: OPT. CLM. $30,000.
(3) YOU GUESSED IT is third back and improving. A closer trip and live helmet could see him pop at a price. (4) MISTER MAGIC could only watch as a suddenly live Getthegreen swooped the field. He continues to remain extremely consistent at a double-digit age. (6) THE BEAR A CUDA was heavily backed in that same race and found himself being shuffled out of contention. A better trip should see him rebound.

Race 2: OPEN.
(3) LOGAN PARK is back to being the king of this division until proven otherwise. (1) GAINES HANOVER flashed his usual big kick but was beaten to the punch by a well-driven Osceola. He could break up the chalky exacta. A warm welcome back for (5) EMOTICON LEGACY! He is set to begin his four-year-old campaign after making over $1.3 million last season. A freak when at his best.
Race 3: 2 YEAR OLD FILLIES: NW 1 RACE OR $10,000 LIFETIME. NO ALLOWANCES.
(2) MAURITIUS looked to be in a great spot when turning for home but ultimately flattened out against stakes fillies. This is an easier bunch. (3) DUNDEES VICTORY is progressing nicely and paced a sharp final quarter against potential stakes filly Treacherous Nova. (6) REMARKABLE WOMAN looms as a bit of an unknown after nearly losing a big lead in her lone qualifier. She draws well and will likely be activated early.
Race 4: NW $2,500 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $5,000 LAST 8 STARTS. (W/O $10,000 LAST 8 STARTS N/E). AE: OPT. CLM. $20,000. AE: NW $5,000 OR N/A $950 P/S IN 2026.
(7) STABLE GENIUS is third back now and finds a much easier group at the same level. He got McNair’s nod over (1) PATRIARCH HANOVER who has been better than his lines show. Mark Mac getting aggressive could reverse his form. (10) GUCCI GUCCI GOO has been using strong late moves to great success in recent weeks. If things fall apart, he could capitalize for a piece.
Race 5: NW $9,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $18,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000. AE: MARES N/A $3,370 P/S IN 2026 (MIN 10 STARTS).
(2) PRIVATE ACCESS likely tries to take no prisoners as he did three back. I think it’s a winning move again. It worked for (1) MYFRIENDJOSE two starts ago as he ripped off a career best. The rail may see him force an early quarter move. (5) UNGAWA could be an underlay given the driver change, but you know where he will be positioned in the early stages. Tough to place him at the moment.
Race 6: NW $14,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $27,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: MARES. AE: N/A $2,210 P/S IN 2025-26.
(3) PENNTELLER HANOVER probably won’t beat Logan Park this year (If you know, you know), but he’s back in form that should give him every chance again. (2) STORMONT BEAUTIFUL was out of position against the boys last week but her stretch kick usually gets her in play regardless of where she is at the quarter. (5) NOTHINGBUTADREAMER has been white hot as of late and gets a deserving shot at these upper-level trotters.
Race 7: 2 YEAR OLD FILLIES: GRASSROOTS STARTERS FOR NW $16,500 LAST 4 STARTS. AE: PROSPECT STARTERS.
(4) ISLAND GIRL made two moves against a heavy favorite and finished a good second. She draws well and is progressing nicely. (6) SELIA SHADOW looks to rebound after ultimately flattening out in her second start. I trust her more than (3) MANDY MILKOVICH who pretty much did the same thing. They both deserve another look in this shorter field.
Race 8: 3 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS: GRASSROOTS STARTERS FOR NW $15,000 LAST 4 STARTS. AE: PROSPECT STARTERS.
(5) ANIBAL DUHARAS has been ambitiously spotted as of late but now gets back in with Grassroots foes that he should shine against. (2) FOURTH GEAR adds Lasix and could loom as some sneaky value if he gets the right trip. (6) THE CONQUEROR should be coming into this race sharp considering his two recent off the pace tries. An aggressive steer could see him in the mix late.

Race 9: NW $1,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $3,750 LAST 6 STARTS. AE: N/A $940 P/S IN 2026 (MIN 10 STARTS).
(8) BOLD SPIRIT is a tough horse to read at times but that could all be thrown out the window if he blasts and tries to wire this field. (3) THAI TOUR was better earlier this year but gets some post relief and has shown to be able to take air on the outside. (5) SHOTGUN JERRY has held his own over the last month and makes sense as an underneath use.
Race 10: POP UP STARTERS: NW $15,500 LAST 4 STARTS.
(5) SHESAMANALISHI was a bit unlucky when getting placed back in her latest but she went another big mile. I think she finally puts it all together again. (3) P L ROBERT G comes off a strong, grinding win. His versatility makes him a threat most weeks. (6) NASEY had no chance when racing from last in his latest. He should get away closer with a better draw.
