(10) FOREFATHER gets reunited with his favorite driver after his big move got used in the early stages. I’ll look for him to get a setup this week. (9) CODE CRACKER got lucky to find room when the outside horses gave him a lane. He sprinted between horses and got the job done. I would assume he goes forward again. (5) MAKEMEALEGEND just doesn’t win enough to be more than an underneath factor. His early speed could help set up my top pick.

Race 2: POP UP SERIES CONSOLATION: STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $12,000 OR LESS IN L4 STARTS. (W/O $50,000 IN 2026 NE). AE: N/A $2,000 P/S IN 2025-26. (21-30).

(7) ALL GAS NO BRAKES was best of the rest behind a runaway Private Access. He should be aggressively handled this week and look to hold everyone off. (3) P L ROBERT G got a nice tuneup last week after two strenuous trips. A live helmet could give him a big chance. (2) NO ANGEL LIKE ME has shown decent kick in her last two and I think this race favors closers for underneath spots.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GOLD LEG 3. 3 YEAR OLD TROTTING FILLIES. STARTING FEE $900 CDN ($700 USD).

(4) BINGO NIGHT brought her A-Game for the last Gold and should be fine after a morning prep. This race is likely a final quarter sprint anyway. (1) BLUE JEAN GAL should get away well despite the rail draw. Even if she has to quarter move, I expect her to be right there. (2) RONDA MAY K was well supported in the last Gold and has shown speed that can put her in contention.

Race 4: POP UP SERIES CONSOLATION: STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $12,000 OR LESS IN L4 STARTS. (W/O $50,000 IN 2026 NE). AE: N/A $2,000 P/S IN 2025-26. (11-20).

(2) SUPERSONIC HANOVER just missed second back after a good trip. He appears to be back in form that should allow him to get the job done. (5) STEAMER was a good second last week and should have the post edge if he wants to go forward. (6) SHESAMANALISHI can be versatile but tends to be better when she can grind into contention.

Race 5: NW $12,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $27,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $70,000. AE: NW 8 (FM 9) RACES LIFETIME.

(9) PRIVATE ACCESS encountered no traffic trouble when he aired out on the lead and went a mile that slots him right into contention if repeated. (5) STORMONT BEAUTIFUL trotted a big back half and got her neck in front despite being widest of all. Another live helmet should see her passing many rivals. (8) PENNTELLER HANOVER got a nice drive last week and wound up second over and with a good finish. He is another who should be taking air on the outside.

Race 6: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, WINNERS OF 3 (FM 4) BUT NOT MORE THAN 5 (FM 6) OR $80,000 (OS $100,000) LIFETIME.

(3) FLORIDA GUY found himself with a perfect pocket trip last week and pulled off a huge upset. I trust him to get away well and have enough to challenge late. (2) TOUCHEDBYANANGEL has been off three weeks and is likely prepping between Golds, but if he gets the lead like he did in his latest, he will be tough regardless. (6) SEISMIC STEP got the drive I wanted last week but ultimately proved he isn’t as deep as others here.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GOLD LEG 3. 3 YEAR OLD TROTTING FILLIES. STARTING FEE $900 CDN ($700 USD).

(5) TH TRIX R FORKIDS made a first over bid into the teeth of a quick mile and ultimately flattened out. I think that strengthens her tonight as she looks for another Gold score. (4) FLOWING TRIBUTE looks to break her bridesmaid streak with another good draw, but that’s exactly where I slot her tonight. (1) LO AND BEHOLD likes to grind into contention and has similar kick to the top two, but will likely be out of position compared to them.

Race 8: CLAIMING HANDICAP $30,000 TO $40,000. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE & SEX. ENTER IN MULTIPLES OF $1,000.

(5) JJ XAVIER should be leaning forward given the short field, though he has posted decent grinding efforts recently. Whichever works. (6) PREMIER FIRST STAR has shined as of late when forwardly placed and ripping off a helmet from up close. That trip could find him tonight. (3) WANNABEABIGSTAR likely has the best kick of anyone and is helped by the short field, but a rated middle half could leave him chasing late.

Race 9: OPEN.

(5) LOGAN PARK has shined when racing against provincial competition. He has three wins in four Open tries this year. (3) AMIGO VOLO earned his 50th career win last week in what was by far his best effort of the season. (4) GAINES HANOVER chased Logan Park around last week and is likely to do the same unless something goes awry.

Race 10: POP UP SERIES FINAL: STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $12,000 OR LESS IN L4 STARTS. (W/O $50,000 IN 2026 NE). AE: N/A $2,000 P/S IN 2025-26.

(10) NOTHINGBUTADREAMER has cruised in both of his Pop Up legs and shows no signs of slowing down despite the high draw. (1) NASEY got back to winning form last week in a much better effort. Something close to that will see him in contention. (5) MY HOLY MOLEY should have a chance to finish on the ticket no matter where he gets away. His versatility moves him up if the race falls apart.
