Top Pick Stats: 333/1050 (-$485.70)

Best Bets: 41/94 (-$22.70); Spot Plays: 21/97 (-$72.60)

Best Bet: PRIVATE ACCESS (Race 1)

Spot Play: ROYAL BELUGA (Race 8)

Early Pick-5: 1/4,6,7/5,7/6,8/2,7 $4.80

Late Pick-5: 1,3,6/2,3/1,2,6/4/2,6 $7.20

Race 1: NW $6,250 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $12,750 LAST 8 STARTS (W/O $18,500 LAST 8 STARTS N/E) AE: OPT. CLM. $30,000.

(1) PRIVATE ACCESS threw another wrench in his form cycle but now gets a sizable drop. This race should showcase his back class. (4) MAXIMUM EXPOSURE posted by far his best effort since shipping to Mohawk. He could finally be getting his legs underneath him. (5) DAHLQUIST HANOVER was a victim of a quick first half and faded as a result. He could try to follow a helmet this week.

Race 2: POP UP SERIES: STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $12,000 OR LESS IN LAST 4 STARTS. (W/O $50,000 IN 2026 N/E). AE: N/A $2,000 P/S IN 2025-26. LEG 1.

(4) NOTHINGBUTADREAMER pulled off a huge upset in his latest which wound up being a career best because of the setup. I don’t know if THAT is repeatable, but why can’t he grind first over against these and just edge away? (7) ALL GAS NO BRAKES never seems to sustain his winning form, but he is a grinder himself. Give him a live helmet and who knows? (6) RICKY RESOLVE looked to be progressing before last week’s miscue. We’ll see what he brings tonight, likely from off the pace.

Race 3: CLAIMING HANDICAP $30,000 TO $40,000. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE & SEX. ENTER IN MULTIPLES OF $1,000.

(7) UNCLE SHANK A looms large in a shorter field after a good trip from post ten left him a length short. Look for similar tactics. (5) JJ XAVIER races off the claim after having to rough it first over. Despite the tiring nature of his trips, he continues to show up week after week. (4) PONDER NO LONGER pulled off a major upset two back but couldn’t hang with better horses last week. I can see him closing for a piece.

Race 4: POP UP SERIES: STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $12,000 OR LESS IN LAST 4 STARTS. (W/O $50,000 IN 2026 N/E). AE: N/A $2,000 P/S IN 2025-26. LEG 1.

(6) ROXIE HART produced her best race from off the pace in quite a while. Her race from the beginning of May is making it hard to ignore her chances. (8) MY HOLY MOLEY has produced back-to-back good efforts and looks to be in a spot where a live helmet makes him dangerous. (1) ESPLOSIONE has cruised in two of his last three and has versatility. I can see him getting a piece.

Race 5: FILLIES & MARES CLAIMING $8,000 FOR NW $6,500 LAST 4 STARTS. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE.

(2) SOLIDAZABRICKHOUSE returns in just four days after a good second at Grand River. Her effort two back is good enough to win here. She was just chasing some better mares. (7) JAZZVILLE made a good account of herself in her Mohawk return. Plante should have more options when drawing away from the rail. (8) GIN IS BETTER should be firing towards the lead from out here. I can see her taking the field a long way but tiring late.

Race 6: POP UP SERIES: STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $12,000 OR LESS IN LAST 4 STARTS. (W/O $50,000 IN 2026 N/E). AE: N/A $2,000 P/S IN 2025-26. LEG 1.

(1) ZETTE ATHENA finally put it all together to get her first win of the season, albeit at a much shorter number than maybe she warranted. Regardless, a repeat of that effort should see her right there again. (3) TYMAL RIGGS has used his middle moves to great success as of late and even pulled off an upset here in his latest. He should be passing horses when it matters most. (6) KADIDDLE was punching way above his weight recently but gets back to a level comparable to where he won three starts ago.

Race 7: NW $9,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $18,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000. AE: NW $16,000 IN 2025-26.

(2) MR BLUEBIRD looked like he was going to close out his mile last week but got picked off late. I think he tries similar tactics; I’ll look for a successful final sixteenth this week. (3) FAITH STEP caught my eye two starts ago with what ended up being a pretty good second. She’s a solid mare, but I couldn’t imagine her facing Monalishi a month ago. Here we are. (7) TRUFFLES TOO is second back after an even start last week. He could step forward tonight and get a piece.

Race 8: POP UP SERIES: STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $12,000 OR LESS IN LAST 4 STARTS. (W/O $50,000 IN 2026 N/E). AE: N/A $2,000 P/S IN 2025-26. LEG 1.

(6) ROYAL BELUGA made an early move last week and it wound up being the right one. He drew away with ease and punctuated what I thought was a pretty good form cycle leading up to that win. He should fit here. (2) NASEY is third back after cruising in his latest. He is the classiest of this group, no doubt. (1) JAYPORT CASH finds a good middle ground where he is likely to work out a midpack trip. I can see him closing for at least a piece.

Race 9: OPEN.

I’ll bank on (4) LOGAN PARK returning to form as he did two starts ago. Another miscue will start to raise questions, however. (2) FASHION FRENZIE returned a winner and should be even stronger tonight second back. (5) GAINES HANOVER held his own on NA Cup night and is a horse that tries hard most weeks.

Race 10: NW $12,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $28,500 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: NW 8 RACES LIFETIME. AE: N/A $3,650 P/S IN 2025-26. AE: NW OF A RACE LAST 4 STARTS.

(2) R PEAKY BLINDERS gets a big post switch after a tough outside trip netted him a check. I’ll give him the nod. (6) GHOSTLY CASPER finds a spot where Mark Mac should be aggressive and could secure a pocket trip. He is dangerous from there. (4) STORMONT BEAUTIFUL did not get the best trip in the Armbro Flight but I thought she was progressing nicely before that. I can see her rallying late as she normally does.
