(4) KADIDDLE could see the race set up better for her from an improved post. I’ll give her the nod. (7) WILLOWTIME looks to drop and pop as she did four starts ago. Could be the wake up she needs again. (5) MADE OF MAGIC should be activated early but I expect others to quarter move around him. He can hold on for a piece.

Race 2: OPEN.

(2) DAME GOOD TIME avoids Emoticon Legacy this week and looks to get back to his winning ways. (5) LOGAN PARK comes out of the same race and is extremely logical again in this short field. (4) MAJOR VELOCITY was out of position last week against the top two. I can see him getting away slightly closer and grabbing a slice.

Race 3: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 3 RACES OR $61,000 (OS $90,000) LIFETIME.

(5) SECRET SOCIETY has been really sharp since the claim and should have every chance to win tonight. (10) NO WAITLIST returns to Canada after a failed try in the Little Brown Jug elims. He is talented but draws farthest outside in a race that he doesn’t need to win. (4) RYDER ROSS makes his third start in the form cycle after a sharp back half got him a big piece in his latest. Post relief helps.

Race 4: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, WINNERS OF 3 (FM 4) BUT NOT MORE THAN 5 (FM 7) OR $102,000 LIFETIME.

(4) DAFFY HANOVER took advantage of a race that fell apart and only missed by half a length. She continues to be a major factor at this level. Interested in what (8) STORMONT FAST BOY brings after taking advantage of a perfect trip in the Grassroots. This is a class test. (5) YOU GUESSED IT tends to be an underneath type but should fare better against this field.

Race 5: NW $9,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $21,500 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $60,000. AE: NW 7 RACES LIFETIME.

I missed the wedding on (3) FAITH STEP so now I’ll attend the funeral. I know that’s not how the saying goes. She has shown a bit more with McClure in her last two outings. (1) MR BLUEBIRD is logical given the class drop but can sometimes lack the necessary punch to hold off a charging rival. (5) ROYALTY BEER gets the nod from Louis Roy and was a good second two starts ago. I’ll use him underneath.

Race 6: HORSES & GELDINGS CLAIMING $8,000 FOR NW $5,600 LAST 4 STARTS OR $9,500 LAST 8 STARTS. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE.

I’ll try (6) IDIDITMYSHUI again after a decent outing against some quick claimers. He returns to the 8K ranks tonight. (8) BLAST OF SUNSHINE has performed well at this level in the past and comes off two sharp wins at Hippodrome 3R for the new barn. A return to previous big track form could see him get a big piece. (1) WILLS WATCHIN grinded out a win last week and will likely look for a similar trip tonight.

Race 7: NW $6,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $14,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $40,000.

(3) NEW RULES has just one win in a limited 2026 campaign but his class should prove to be too much for these. (7) NASEY sustained his outside move to the wire and wound up winning by nearly two lengths. He tends to trot home nicely but needs to be positioned accordingly. (8) MYFRIENDJOSE couldn’t hold off Nasey last week and likely won’t be able to again unless the trip really goes his way.

Race 8: CLAIMING HANDICAP $30,000 TO $40,000. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE & SEX. ENTER IN MULTIPLES OF $1,000.

(3) LARRY KARR looked like himself last week, but can he come back with a similar performance? We’ll see. (6) SHADOW OF AN ANGEL became a repeat winner last week and Menary appears to have figured something out. (7) WHATCHULOOKIN AT races off the claim which is interesting to me. He has been a bit stale at the middle levels, but a new barn could rejuvenate him.

Race 9: NW $9,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $18,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $60,000.

(1) MIRACULOUS DESBI N is third back since his return from PEI and draws a post that should allow him to get away a little closer to the action. His turn of foot usually has him in play with the right trip. (5) WANNABEABIGSTAR just held on for a repeat win last week. He is in top form right now. (2) SEEN HERE made his Menary debut a winning one and could show us even more tonight.

Race 10: NW $20,000 LAST 4 STARTS. AE: NW 8 RACES OR $150,000 LIFETIME.

(2) UNGAWA was much better in his latest and appears in form that is good enough to get the job done with the right trip. (8) TE QUIERO LINDY basically went wire to wire last week and trotted an excellent mile. I’m a touch skeptical that he can repeat it, but we’ll see. (6) GRIFF tracked behind Te Quiero Lindy for the entire mile and likely benefitted from that rival trotting a fast pace. Not saying he can’t contend, but I don’t see :50 and change in his future.

Race 11: NW $6,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $12,000 LAST 8 STARTS (W/O $15,000 LAST 8 STARTS N/E). AE: N/A $1,450 P/S IN 2025-26.

I’ll try (6) CODENAME CIGAR BOX again who finally gets a good post and should be firing in the early stages. (2) SILVERWALLS is capable of firing out and not letting anybody by for big chunks of the mile. He could show that type of speed tonight. (5) MAJOR PERRY N likely gets to the outside at some point and makes his presence felt. It wouldn’t shock me if he finishes higher than this.
