Race 1: WILLIAM WELLWOOD CONSOLATION 2YO OPEN **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**

(6) HASTY BID bided his time in the elimination and the trip didn't work out because the back 1/2 was trotted four seconds faster than the first 1/2. The pace should be more honest here shooting for a $50K consolation purse and he could get his trip; top call. (5) NOTHINGBUTADREAMER lacked room in deep stretch in his elimination and that likely cost him a spot in the final. He figures to be a big threat here racing on of near the front. (1) OSCEOLA is obviously one of the most talented colts in here but I don’t love the rail post for a young trotter coming off a break in stride. I'd be careful to not accept a short price on this one. (4) LOWRY didn't get the greatest trip last week. I can see him finishing in the Tri or Super here.

Race 2: NW $6,000 L5 or $10,000 L10 or Starters for a purse of $11,000 or less L3 AE: OPT CLM $45,000

(5) RHYTHM IN MOTION drops, draws well, and picks up Dunn. I can see him going right down the road tonight. (6) CONTROL HEAVEN was first up vs. better last week and he was doomed when the leader paced the final 1/4 in 27-flat. He should be the main threat him here leaving from the best post. Sharp (4) RESPECT OUR FLAG won as an overlay last week and he will offer another good price tonight on the class rise. He isn't impossible in this spot. (1) ROCKIN N TALKIN should sit a good following trip and come on late to take a share.

Race 3: NASSAGAWEYA 2YO OPEN

(8) SAVE AMERICA looked good breaking his maiden in New Jersey and he has been given some time to recover from that second out sub-1:50 mile. He will be tough here if he is sharp enough considering the time missed. (4) WRITE ME A ROSE looked like he had aim on unbeaten Stockade Seelster last week but he seemed to flatten out a bit late. He should be sharper for this and he figures to be the main threat. (6) CAPTAIN BATBOY comes out of the same race as the choice and he figures to get a piece of this. (5) TIP TOP CAT has raced well in every start and he has shown that he can take some air. He can be in the exotics mix tonight.

Race 4: ETERNAL CAMNATION 2YO Fillies - Pick 4

(10) SAVETHELASTDANCE was pacing so fat on the Grand River backstretch that she made a speed break last time. She recovered in time to land pacing on the lead and the rest was history. If this filly is as good as I think, neither post 10 nor the jump up to the Grand Circuit will stop her tonight. (2) TREACHEROUS PENNY gets a key driver change to McCarthy tonight and she should be closer early; upset chance. (7) BANKERS LUCK has been consistently fastest of these and she is an obvious contender here, but far from a lock. (4) FRONT PAGE STORY comes in off one race but it was a solid debut effort and she should be in the exotics mix.

Race 5: PEACEFUL WAY FINAL 2YO Fillies

(4) HEART ON FIRE likely needed last week's race after missing 15 days and shipping north. She should be razor-sharp now for this Grand Circuit final. I'll give her the nod to turn the tables on (3) RIGHTEOUS RESOLVE who pounced on her from the pocket last week and is the obvious danger. (5) WARRAWEE YES looked good last week winning on the lead but she was in the weaker elim. I'll use her underneath here. (2) GRACEFUL PATTY was overbet last week and she remained a maiden. If you still like her, she will offer a much better price tonight.

Race 6: CANADIAN PACING DERBY Elimination 3YO and Older - Pick 5

(2) JIMMY FREIGHT should get a lot out of last week's race where he was used hard in spots after missing time due to a minor injury. Back on home soil, he gets the nod. (3) WARRAWEE VITAL gets Henry back tonight and there strategy will be no secret. He will be sent as fast and as far as he can go on the lead and if he turns for home in front, he might be hard to pass. (4) ROCKYROAD HANOVER is having a stellar year but he keeps running into Bulldog Hanover. He is another contender in a good betting race considering there are only seven horses. (1) LOUS PEARLMAN has been unlucky with the draw in several recent starts. He can land in the Super tonight.

Race 7: ETERNAL CAMNATION 2YO Fillies

(2) SYLVIA HANOVER has been good in every start so far and she has flashed sub-27 kickers in all of them. She gets the nod here. (5) CHEESY SMILE is another that has shown a big late in all of her starts and she should offer a good price here coming out of a Grassroots dash; using. (6) CAVIART DAVIA was cleverly driven to both win and keep the tank full last week and she is another contender here. (1) BIG BIG PLANS, Battle of the Belles winner, should sit a trip close to the front and take another share.

Race 8: NASSAGAWEYA 2YO OPEN

(1) TICKERTAPE HANOVER was a good 2nd to a strong winner in a fast race last time and he looks poised to break her maiden in this Grand Circuit race. (4) STORMALONG gets away from unbeaten Stockade Seelster tonight and he picks up Dunn in the bike. He is in with a good chance here. (5) HUNTINTHELASTDOLAR has been right there in every start so far and he should be in the mix here, too. (10) REDWOOD HANOVER regularly passes horses. He is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics at what should be a big price tonight.

Race 9: CANADIAN PACING DERBY Elimination 3YO and Older - Pick 4

(7) BULLDOG HANOVER keeps rolling right along and he should continue his dominance at a short price here. (1) DESPERATE MAN was better last week, firing a 26-flat kicker and I'll try to create some Exacta value with him here. (3) TATTOO ARTIST was perfectly driven while bottoming out the field in the #Senditin Invitational and he is in peak form now. It's hard to see him missing the Tri. (6) ABUCKABETT HANOVER will be passing a few of these late as has been typical. He should make the final.

Race 10: WILLIAM WELLWOOD MEMORIAL FINAL 2YO OPEN

(1) FRENCH WINE moved too late in his elim but he made the final which was likely priority #1 last week. He should be sharper getting back to a 7-day rotation and I expect a more aggressive drive tonight; top call. (4) WINNERS BET was expertly-driven by McNair last week, doing just enough to win while keeping the tank full for this lucrative final. He is an obvious threat along with his stablemate (6) INTERNATIONAL MAN, who also exerted little energy while winning his elimination. (2) GHOSTLY CASPER was good in defeat in his elim and he is right there every week; upset chance.

Race 11: NW $11,000 L5 or $22,500 L10 or NW $105,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $60,000

Droppers (2) BRAEVIEW BONDI A and (1) B STONEY should battle for the win here. The former retains Dunn tonight and he gets the nod. (6) SAULSBRROK VICTOR was right there vs. similar last week when driven aggressively. He has some options tonight leaving from the best post and he is the third one that I'll use on multi-race tickets. (7) ISLANDSPECIALMAJOR did well last week after setting some big fractions. He is in the exotics mix here.

Race 12: NW $20,000 L5 or $35,000 L10 or NW $175,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $100,000

(7) MAPPOS LION gets to drop tonight and he won the last two times he raced at this level. I expect aggression tonight. (8) WHICHWAYTOTHEBEACH finished just behind the choice last week and he also drops and he gets back to a 7-day rotation. He should be right there tonight. (6) CODENAME CIGAR BOX raced great two starts back then he was dismissed from the 10-hole which turned out to be a mistake by the public as he parlayed an aggressive score into a big upset. He is in the mix here. (2) EAST END is another dropper in with a shot here in what boils down to a good betting race where it makes sense to price shop. (4) POWERTRAIN will likely get over bet here because of his 25 2/5 kicker last week. I'll use him underneath.
