Race 1: 3YO Fillies **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**

Tough race here with both Gold and Grassroots fillies racing between stakes starts. (4) GOUDAWON races better off a helmet and I think she should be able to work out a trip and what should be a good price tonight; top call. (7) GOT THE GOLD gets McNair back and this duo did well together a few starts back. She is another that should offer a square price that is in with a shot. (9) SILVER LABEL is probably the best filly in here but she will likely be driven conservatively starting from a wide post in a race she doesn't need to win. I wouldn't take a short win price here. (5) MOMENTARILY has paced some fast winning miles recently. She is one of many in here that can win depending on pace and trip.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Third Leg 3YO Colts and Geldings

(6) DREAMFAIR ARNIE B is in terrific form right now and he will take beating here at a short price. (4) STONE CARVER raced well in defeat when two lengths back of the choice last week and he can be an Exacta factor here. On paper, (1) KAPORAL is the only one fast enough to beat the choice, but I don't love that he broke in the stretch last time in Sarnia. I'll play to beat him out of the Exacta here. (3) FINAL CHEESERECIPE gets Filion tonight and he can take a share vs. these if he stays flat.

Race 3: 3YO Fillies Grassroots Starters NW $12,000 L5

(1) BIG BETTOR HANOVER finds a soft spot here and this is a field that she should beat; top call and Pick 5 single. (4) ADDICTIVEBEHAVIOUR got used up early last start and she paid the price late. She should get an easier trip in this spot and she is in the exotics mix. (2) DEWITT FOR JOSIE consistently paces in the 1:52-1:53 2/5 range every week and that kind of mile should be good for a share here. (7) MORETHANMYHOMETOWN makes her second start back from a sick scratch and she is capable of rallying for a share at a price.

Race 4: F&M NW $6,000 L5 or NW $15,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $35,000 - Pick 4

(4) WESTERN WISH had a good return race last week and she should improve facing easier tonight; top call. (5) WHATINEEDISAMAN is in tougher here but her excellent tactical speed makes her a threat as she shots for a fourpeat; using. (3) DARKRSHADEOFPALE N steps up off a strong first-over win and she can be a threat here considering how sharp she is. (1) TWIN B TIPSTER will likely rally late again for another share.

Race 5: NW $10,500 L5 or $28,000 L10 or NW8 LT AE: Starters for a purse of $15K or less in 1 of L4

(1) FLYINGEVENBETTOR N was locked in down the lane until it was too late last week. He gets McNair back here and he gets the nod to get back on track. (7) B STONEY has contended racing at this level and he has probably been unlucky to not get a win. I'll use him here. (8) FOREFATHER gets his nose back on the gate and he should be aggressive leaving the gate. He is a speed threat here. (6) ROCKME ROLLME was game in defeat to a dominant winner and he should be good for at least a share here.

Race 6: WHENUWISUPONASTAR FINAL: 2 YEAR OLD FILLIES - Pick 5

(5) SYLVIA HANOVER gets her nose back on the gate for this stakes final and she gets the nod to turn the tables on (1) BANKERS LUCK, the clear filly to beat coming off coming off a win from the 10-hole. (2) SWEET AMIRA lacked room in the lane in her debut in last week's leg and she was under restraint at the wire. I wouldn't be shocked if she blew the tote board up tonight. (4) TREACHEROUS PENNY hasn't missed the board yet and that streak will likely continue here.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Third Leg 3YO Colts and Geldings

(2) CALLED IN SICK left for the pocket, took a mid-race shuffle, then was shut off with pace at a critical point in early stretch. That start should have him perfectly primed for this Grassroots race and he gets top billing. (4) GREYSTONE IAN O was an easy winner last time he raced at this track in a Grassroots race and he is an obvious threat here. (1) CHUCKY HANOVER has to be considered dropping out of Golds. He should improve sharply tonight. (8) TWIN B JAMMER just paced a 1:50 4/5 mile here that sticks out, but it feels like Fool's Gold considering his 1 for 21 record. I'll play to beat him.

Race 8: DREAM MAKER FINAL 2YO Colts and Geldings

(8) STOCKADE SEELSTER wins easier every week it seems and although he should face a good challenge here from another unbeaten colt, he should be up to it. (1) HUNGRY ANGEL BOY is one of many good ones produced by Stay Hungry in this first crop and he should be the main threat to the choice here. (9) TARQUINUS HANOVER has a big late kick on his best day and he is worth using underneath at a price. (5) STORMALONG should ride a good trip to a share.

Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Third Leg 3YO Colts and Geldings

(7) PERSISTANT BOY gets Filion back tonight after just missing in Sarnia and he is strictly the one to beat in this field. (5) DYNOMITES PEAK finally got off the 2022 schneid while holding off the choice and he should be the main threat. (2) RIDINLIKEYASTOLEIT was right there in a very fast mile last time. Peg how Twin B Jammer does in race 7. He exits the same race and he set the pace to midstretch. (3) SPORTY M THREE has been hot and he should be in the exotics mix here.

Race 10: OPEN HANDICAP - Pick 4

(8) WARRAWEE VITAL gets faster each week and he is very hard to go against until he shows some kind of sign of regressing. (6) AMERICAN HISTORY looked good winning last week when driven aggressively. I'll use him to round out the Exacta here. (5) MAPPOS LION flies home every week but he is often too far back. I'll use him underneath tonight. (7) WHEELS ON FIRE is consistently in the mix and he should be part of the Tri or Super tonight.

Race 11: F&M NW $13,000 L5 or $20,000 L10 AE: Starters for a purse of $15K or less in 1 of L4 AE: OPT CLM $50,000

(5) KICKUPYAHEELS N takes a big drop tonight and she should be tough to beat in this class. (3) SHES GOT IT ALL is the other dropper and note she won at a much higher level six starts back. She should improve sharply here. (1) MISS ROCKADALI keeps rolling along and she gets faster every week. Her tactical speed and grit give her a shot against the droppers tonight. (7) HEAVENS SHOWGIRL A is in solid form and she should be in the exotic mix here.

Race 12: NW $10,000 L5 or $28,000 L10 or NW 8 LT Starters for a purse of $15K or less in 1 of L4

(7) THATLL BE SPORTY came from a long way back last week, full of pace late in the mile. He should be closer tonight starting from the 7-hole and I'll stick with him. (6) CENTURY HEINEKEN was an impressive first up winner last week and he should be right there again tonight; using. (1) RHYTHM IN MOTION failed when racing on the lead as chalk but he seems to perform much better off following trips. I think he sits and rallies here and he is dangerous. (4) CODENAME CIGAR BOX probably needed last week's race after shipping east and missing some time. I can see him improving enough to contend tonight.

Race 13: NW $6,000 L5 or $14,200 L10 AE: OPT CLM $45,000

(4) SOUTHBEACH HANOVER has been in much tougher recently and he beat better than these six starts back. He should be tough at this level and he could lead all the way tonight. (6) ROYAL RENEGADE is sharp as a tack right now, as seen by his aggressive approach in his past two starts. He should be right there again. Not much went right for (2) HIGHLANDBEACHLOVER last week. I'll put a line through that start and use him here in a spot where he seems to fit decently. (7) COMMANDING OFFICER will likely get bet on the class drop here but based on recent starts he is one that I'll play to beat. (10) PLAY JET RAY is worth a look at a price for the bottom of the exotics racing off the claim.
