I see him chasing down likely pacesetter (6) JABBERWOCKY in the closing strides. The latter will likely try again to bottom out the field and he will have to be caught. (9) TWIN B JAMMER is in easier here getting away from the likes of Mr Beast and Persistent Boy; price look. (5) AUSSIE HANOVER has been finishing recent miles quickly. Give him a look for the bottom of the exotics.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS GOLD Leg 1 2YO Colts and Geldings

(1) STOCKADE SEELSTER, a $45,000 London Selected sale buy, is the second foal from the dam and his 1/2-sister just took a mark of 1:52 1/5 at the Meadowlands last month. He looks fast enough to beat these and you know Doc Moore will send him ready; top call. (5) MOMENT IS HERE looked good breaking his maiden as the 3 to 5 chalk and he is an obvious threat. (7) COOP A LOOP impressively won on debut from the worst post at The Meadows. He is not easy to toss from Pick 5 consideration. $62,000 Harrisburg purchase (3) SOUNDS GOOD is a 1/2 to 1:51 (M) pacer Off The Record who finished in the money in his first five starts then won his sixth. I'll use him underneath here.

(5) B STONEY was game in defeat racing first-over last week and he is my clear top pick tonight. (8) THATLL BE SPORTY should be closer by default racing in a shorter field and he could roar by them all in the lane; using. (7) SINTRA keeps getting bet but he can't seem to get the job done I'll use him underneath tonight. (3) NOCH TEN steps up off a sharp win tonight. I see him as a fringe player in here.

Race 4: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Leg 2 3YO Colts and Geldings - Pick 4

(1) CHEETO is a colt that impressed me right from his debut effort in Hanover and he has dropped 11 seconds in three starts. He should be a Grassroots colt and I'll give him the nod to notch the threepeat tonight. (2) DYNOMITES PEAK is much better than he showed in his recent start in Ottawa and he gets a key driver change to Roy here. He would be no surprise in this spot. (3) SPORTS ADVISOR is one-for-one in the Grassroots this year and he comes off some useful tighteners vs. older foes. McNair is sure to put him into the race tonight and he is another in with a shot. (9) CARSON STAR CHOICE is sharp and he comes off two strong wins, but post position is his enemy here; using underneath.

Race 5: NW $20,000 L5 or $30,000 L10 AE: NW $140,000 LT

(2) MAPPOS LION was a victim of trip last week, held up 4th-over on the last turn as the winner sprinted away. When shown racetrack in the stretch, this gelding closed like a jet. This is a tougher field which should help keep his price viable. I’ll stick with him. (3) THE GREEK FREAK couldn't be any sharper right now and stepping up in class helps his price. He should get a better trip tonight starting from the 3-hole; using. (8) ENAVANT drops again searching for his first win of the year. I have a feeling he'll get overbet and he is far from a lock; small share predicted. (9) COMMANDING OFFICER comes off a strong effort and he should be part of the exotics despite drawing wide.

Race 6: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD Leg 1 2YO Colts and Geldings - Pick 5

(4) WRITE ME A ROSE looked solid breaking his maiden as the chalk and I'll give him the call to repeat here. (2) LYONS BRUSHMARKS was beaten by a good one on debut and he stacks up well vs. these; using. $40,000 Lexington purchase (3) BETTER B BOLD fired fast kickers in both qualifiers and he is another to consider for multi-race tickets. (5) SCRIBBLERS is another that had a good debut race that could do in a race that will likely be decided by trip and pace.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Leg 2 3YO Colts and Geldings

(5) PERSISTANT BOY is two seconds fastest in here and he should be very hard to beat at a short price. (3) TWIN B RAPTOR comes back quick after impressively breaking his maiden here on Tuesday night and he should be an Exacta factor. (1) HES A LADIES MAN is in solid form and he should keep the roll going with another board finish here. (8) HE BEE SUNNY adds Lasix which could explain two recent clunkers; price look.

Race 8: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Leg 2 3YO Colts and Geldings - Pick 4

(3) SOUTHWIND PHAROAH improved sharply when he stalked big fractions then chased down a loose leader and I'll give him top call here. (6) GREYSTONE IAN O drops from Golds and he draws best here. He should be right there vs. these tonight. (2) CAMARA MOMENT is enigmatic because he could be fast enough to be a Gold colt if he could put it all together but he has recurring gait issues. He can win here if he stays flat. (4) FINAL CHEESERECIPE has the fastest 2022 mark in here and he comes in sharp. He's another in with a shot.

Race 9: OPEN

(4) WARRAWEE VITAL threw a 26 3/5 third 1/4 smoke show at his rivals last week on route to a big win and now that the carbon is out of the engine, he is ready to race in the Open; top call. (3) WHEELS ON FIRE will be the main threat racing on the lead or from the pocket. (1) AMERICAN HISTORY couldn't go with the choice last week and he likely takes another slice here. (2) LAWLESS SHADOW should be sharper for this. I see him rounding out the Tri or Super.

(7) BAYFIELD BEACH drops slightly and gets Jamieson in the bike tonight. Expecting an aggressive try, I'll give him a slight nod. (5) HERVEY HANOVER comes off a solid effort and he draws well. He's in with a shot here. (6) HES SWIFT dropped and popped as expected now he moves up but he isn't out of this. (3) CENTURY FURY finished ahead of the choice last time but he is still 0 for 2022. I'll use him underneath.

Race 11: NW $5,000 L5 or $12,000 L10 AE: NW $1,575 P/S in 2021-22 or NW $1,950 L3

(8) SOMEWHEREINVERONA drops multiple classes here and he should be tough, likely racing on the engine. (3) REAL WILLEY is another class dropper that will be sent forward leaving the gate and he could get a golden trip tonight; using. (2) HIGHLANDBEACHLOVER is a third dropper in with a chance here. Six starts back he won comfortably racing one class higher than this. (1) FOREFATHER qualified well for this return from a short break and he can land in the Super or High-5. (5) HOMEY JOE will likely pass a few of these late and take a share.
