Race 1: 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER NW $15,000 (ON SIRED $25,500) LIFETIME.
I’ll give (9) BARRACUDA HANOVER another try against some lesser competition. He should be able to fire out and secure another good trip. (3) TAHOE SEELSTER could have more to show if he gets a trip. Grand River can play a little weird and it didn’t help that he was first over. (10) WALTERS NIP paced a strong final quarter against Grassroots foes and showed he should be able to hang against these. The post is the main concern, however.

Race 2: CLAIMING HANDICAP $18,000 TO $24,000. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE & SEX. ENTER IN MULTIPLES OF $1,000.
(7) CODE CRACKER got back to his winning ways last week and appears to be settling in at this class. Can he put together two quality efforts in a row? (2) BETTOR B GOING usually performs well at this level and comes off a fine third where he was tracking for a majority of the mile. (4) MAKEMEALEGEND took significant support last week but had to settle for second behind an upset winner. He has been more consistent since the claim.
Race 3: NW $9,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $24,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000.
I think (3) SOARING NOW works out a trip and gets back to winning form. He has been sprinting well with top pacers as of late. (4) DUBLIN DASHER should be forwardly placed off the drop and look to out-trip his rivals. I expect him to be right there. (2) UNCLE SHANK A should be in the mix if he repeats his latest. Roy chooses off but Borth can be aggressive.
Race 4: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 (OS $41,500) LIFETIME.
(1) EXACTLY CORRECT held his own with Gold company and looks like a horse that should keep improving with experience. I’ll give him the nod tonight. (8) GOIN FOR BROKE makes his second start on Lasix after ending up best of the rest behind a runaway winner. A similar mile should have him right there. (3) JUST GIVENER pulled off an upset last week with a down the road score. He is better when sitting close.
Race 5: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 (OS $37,500) LIFETIME.
(3) CACKLE BERRY stayed out of trouble when pointed towards the lead and opened up for a sharp win. I can see her repeating tonight. (4) MONTE AMORE had to take some air when first over and could only settle for third behind Cackle Berry. The right trip could have her closer at the wire. (7) MADAME PANIC showed good speed behind Kiss N in her second qualifier back and could get a piece if she’s ready to go.
Race 6: POP UP SERIES CONSOLATION: H&G STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $12,000 OR LESS IN L4 STARTS. (W/O $50,000 IN 2026 NE). AE: N/A $2,000 P/S IN 2025-26. (21-30)
Not much form to go off of here. (6) HAZEE COAST was sharp three starts ago when forwardly placed. Borth is back aboard and could resort to those tactics. (4) SCAMMER was unable to get a piece in his lone Pop Up start, but he has a sharp turn of foot that should be utilized against horses that aren’t the most consistent right now. (10) PONDER NO LONGER likely needs the race to fall apart, but that’s not an impossible ask. He has been outracing his odds recently.
Race 7: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 3 RACES OR $51,000 (OS $70,000) LIFETIME.
(5) POWNAL BAY BOBBI held her own with the top two provincial fillies and looks ready to win this week. She had to face off against Easy Station two back who was excellent. (8) SANGRIA SUMMER has recently faced off against some of the top fillies in the division and she has held her own. I think McClure gets her a trip similar to her May outings. (7) ROMANTIC BEAUTY was probably going to win last week if she didn’t duck in and interfere 20 strides before the wire. She raced well again regardless; I expect her to be in the mix.
Race 8: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 3 RACES OR $53,000 (OS $67,500) LIFETIME.
(3) JOHNNY ANGEL could only watch as Odds On Bullfrog pulled away last week, but the trip comparison didn’t help. With the ML choice drawing outside, things could be different tonight. (4) STINGRAY DEO was a good second in his latest and is likely to be forwardly placed. He should get a good trip here. (10) ODDS ON BULLFROG should have nothing taken away from his win last week, but another full blast trip from the high draw could see him a step short late.
Race 9: NW $21,500 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $34,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: NW 8 RACES OR $150,000 LIFETIME. AE: NW $100 IN 2026.
(8) LITE UP THE WORLD dug in and held off rivals after setting a vicious opening half. We’ll see if he can keep ripping off miles like that. (6) JORDY N has been sneaky at the upper levels and is now proving to be a serious threat. He’ll be looking to capitalize if the leaders falter. (5) JABBERWOCKY could throw a wrench into things if he is dead set on getting the lead. We saw him turn back the clock in May.
Race 10: POP UP SERIES CONSOLATION: H&G STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $12,000 OR LESS IN L4 STARTS. (W/O $50,000 IN 2026 NE). AE: N/A $2,000 P/S IN 2025-26. (11-20)
(1) LAMBORGHINI LOU could be a victim of positioning but there’s not many in here who I trust to go down the road with great success. I can see him capitalizing on that. (4) LEGION SEELSTER is probably the most trustworthy given his grinding style that never seems to let him down. I would trust Roy to have him in a good spot. (5) CODENAME CIGAR BOX hasn’t stayed sharp since winning three back. He’s one who I can see leaving early, but slowing down late.

Race 11: NW $6,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $15,500 LAST 8 STARTS (W/O $22,000 LAST 8 STARTS N/E). AE: N/A $2,050 P/S IN 2025-26.
(7) WHATCHULOOKIN AT got a great steer last week and just missed. A similar trip should net him a similar result. (8) PACINO HANOVER was better last week and we know what he is capable of when at his best. (1) NUCLEAR broke in the stretch last week but was heavily supported in that effort. If he minds his manners, he should be a contender at this level.
Race 12: POP UP SERIES FINAL: H&G STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $12,000 OR LESS IN L4 STARTS. (W/O $50,000 IN 2026 NE). AE: N/A $2,000 P/S IN 2025-26.
(1) DALTON SHARD N has been really good since shipping to Canada and should be pacing hard when it matters most. Add in the fact that it’s likely for him to find a live helmet, and this final could be his. I’ll give him the nod. (7) MIRACULOUS DESBI N took a first over move to victory last week and will likely look to make that same move stick in the final. (4) STICKEMINLETHIMGO was flying on the end of it last week but just missed. He could be one who grinds into contention and continues to make up ground all the way through the wire.
