Top Pick Stats: 333/1050 (-$485.70)

Best Bets: 41/94 (-$22.70); Spot Plays: 21/97 (-$72.60)

Best Bet: LOUS WORLD (Race 11)

Spot Play: TALK CURDY TO ME (Race 6)

Early Pick-5: 1,6,7/1,6/5/6,9/6,7 $4.80

Middle Pick-5: 2,5/3,7/5/8,9/3,6 $3.20

Late Pick-5: 5/8,9/3,6/1/9 $0.80

Race 1: FILLIES & MARES, NW $2,700 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $5,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $20,000.

(6) TAMARA HANOVER all of a sudden turned into a :50 and change pacer after making multiple moves near the front. I’m not sure if it’s repeatable yet, but it’s hard to ignore. (1) ONE LAST WISH drops again and should wake up here with an aggressive steer. (7) PRETTY MISSY MAY gets along very well with McClure and is usually in a stalking spot. I can see similar tactics being used tonight.

Race 2: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, WINNERS OF 3 BUT NOT MORE THAN 5 RACES OR $100,000 (OS $115,000) LIFETIME.

(6) BACKUP PLAN should be in a spot where he can make a grinding move and hopefully sustain it to the wire. He gets my nod in what should be a good race. (1) SILVERWALLS hasn’t backed down since returning to Mohawk. He gets away from a duo that nobody was beating last week. (4) AXIAL should rebound here assuming he gets a good trip. It’s hard to envision him not getting one.

Race 3: FILLIES & MARES, NW $9,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $18,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000. AE: NW $100,000 LT. AE: N/A $2,700 P/S IN 2025-2026.

(5) HORIZON SEELSTER gets Roy’s nod and a sizable drop in class. He should be firing early and hopefully bottoming out her rivals. (8) EASY STATION gets a class test but is in top form. I think she proves that she can hang with these types despite only being three. (2) MADAM X races off the claim after yet another sharp second place finish. Plante can be as aggressive as anyone.

Race 4: NW $9,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $22,500 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000.

I’ve chased (6) CAPTAIN FEAR NOT a few times this season to mixed results. The power duo lies on the far outside, but he could spoil the party with some gate speed and a good trip. (9) LITE UP THE WORLD looked like his old self last week when adding Lasix. Another speed try could turn back the clock to last year. (8) RIPASSO just pairs so well with J-Mac, and you saw it in action last week. I would expect them to work out a decent trip.

Race 5: POP UP SERIES: H&G STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $12,000 OR LESS IN L4 STARTS. (W/O $50,000 IN 2026 NE). AE: N/A $2,000 P/S IN 2025-26. LEG 2. AE: LEG 1 STARTERS.

(7) MIRACULOUS DESBI N was really good last week. He just got picked off by a horse that got a great steer. I’ll go right back to him. (6) DOWS UP seemed primed for a big effort when facing new horses, and that’s exactly what he showed. I can see him getting another good trip from up close. (10) PREMIER FIRST STAR showed his win two back was no fluke, but now has to navigate the high draw.

Race 6: FILLIES & MARES OPEN.

(2) TALK CURDY TO ME is another I’ve been higher on than most for a few weeks now. I thought she raced well in the Roses Are Red and now gets away from Grand Circuit mares. Her race four back was really good against these. (5) ULTIMATE DESBI N looked like an Open mare right away when she shipped in and hasn’t disappointed. I expect her to be right there again. (8) LETS N JOY N went a big mile in her latest to just get up. She is another mare that produces quality miles week after week.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES: GOLD LEG 2: 3 YEAR OLD PACING COLTS & GELDINGS. STARTING FEE $900 CDN ($700 USD).

(3) BEAU JANGLES may have lost his perfect record and the NA Cup, but he is still perfect against provincial colts and geldings. I’m curious how he looks this week. (7) BORDERLINE MOBBY produced a career best last week after a perfect trip. His best could give Beau a run for his money. (2) WHOLETTHEDOGSOUT was vicious in his latest. He looks like a horse that is still developing, but the flashes of what he can offer are more frequent.

Race 8: POP UP SERIES: H&G STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $12,000 OR LESS IN L4 STARTS. (W/O $50,000 IN 2026 NE). AE: N/A $2,000 P/S IN 2025-26. LEG 2. AE: LEG 1 STARTERS.

(5) COLD CREEK QUESO just got picked off in leg one after making two moves to the lead and facing all kinds of pressure. I don’t see him encountering that much trouble tonight. (4) STICKEMINLETHIMGO continued his good form off the claim and is likely to get another forward trip. (10) DIAMOND RYDER tried to sprint away in the third quarter but it caught up to him late. I don’t think he’ll be dead set on the front. A live helmet could see him follow for a piece.

Race 9: NW $21,500 LAST 4 STARTS. AE: NW 4 YEAR OLDS AE: NW $60,000 IN 2026.

(8) AYEAYE CAPTAIN DEO was equally as vicious in both Graduate legs. He returned with some nice races, but I don’t think anyone expected this out of him. (9) CHRISTOPHER DANCE N got a cleaner trip last week and went nearly all the way. J-Mac never went to the well in the stretch. He should be right there if the trip works in his favor. (4) CENTURY KOMODO makes his return after a strong qualifier. He was capable of knocking heads with these frequently last season.

Race 10: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 (OS $37,500) LIFETIME.

(3) MAJOR MIKI has looked the part in both efforts to kick off his three-year-old season. I think he gets the trip he wants and wins again. (6) SOLAR VOLTAGE is progressing nicely and could put forth a big effort here if he uses some gate speed. (2) DONTENVYME HANOVER got back to form when adding Lasix, but I’m still not sold on him. I don’t know what version of himself he’s going to put out this week.

Race 11: NW $6,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $12,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: N/A $2,180 P/S IN 2025-2026.

(1) LOUS WORLD looks to be in a great spot for a Mark Mac speed try. His last few efforts have left him in no man’s land against Open level horses. (8) NUCLEAR ripped off a sub-:26 final quarter when shipping up North and could be in line for a better finish when dropping in class. Curious about his trip, though. (3) CHAIN GANG got J-Mac’s nod which I found interesting. He should probably be ready for a better effort because he hasn’t looked like himself yet this year.

Race 12: POP UP SERIES: H&G STARTERS FOR A PURSE OF $12,000 OR LESS IN L4 STARTS. (W/O $50,000 IN 2026 NE). AE: N/A $2,000 P/S IN 2025-26. LEG 2. AE: LEG 1 STARTERS.

(9) DALTON SHARD A worked out a perfect second-over trip in his Mohawk debut and wasn’t losing from there. It doesn’t always work out that well, but he looks the part regardless. (5) A CLASS YANKEE got a great setup last week and just got up. His last two efforts have been very good. (1) CAPTAIN HURLEY got a great steer from Cullen. He raced between horses and just picked off Miraculous Desbi. If he gets away okay, he should contend for a piece.
