(8) ALL OF ME was a good 2nd in her last start and she has the speed to make front or get position leaving the gate. She should be tough in here. (7) MYSTIC WILD ROSE is only 1 for 10 but she comes off a solid parked out effort where she just kept coming. She figures to be a threat tonight. (3) TWIN BE ECHO looks faster at three and I can see her getting a good trip racing near the front tonight. She is another that could do in a race that intent will be critical in this dash that is between Grassroots races. (2) UNCONTROLLED might get overbet based on her beaten time from last week, but she is in with a shot here. Your call.

Race 2: Fillies and Mares PREFERRED

The queen bee (7) SO MUCH MORE acquitted herself well vs. a monster mare that was setting a new Canadian record in the Roses Are Red, and she likely gets back on track as a big chalk here. (2) DABARNDAWGSWATCHIN is the other mare exiting that Grand Circuit race and she should complete the chalky Exacta. (4) MYSTIFYING made the first wide move then almost held off (6) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP last Saturday. These two will likely be fighting for scraps this time.

Race 3: 3YO Fillies Grassroots Starters

(7) SUNBURNT was perfectly driven and tripped out to win last week and I see her getting another good trip in this spot; call to repeat. (8) DANGEROUS CURVES was good in defeat, and she got a needed clean line. She should be a threat right back. (1) BLUE GLAMBER tracked some wild fractions then made a move on the leader and drove away to a new life's mark. Losing injured Cullen and drawing the rail now makes we want to try to beat her. (4) CHEDDA CHEDDA's best puts her right there with these but it's hard to predict if we'll see it or not. I'll use her underneath.

Race 4: 5YO and Younger NW $15,000 LT - Pick 4

(9) BETTER B BOLD paced an effortless 25 4/5 kicker in the driving rain while under no urging whatsoever and off that impressive score he gets the call to repeat. (6) D A HOME STRETCH is no slouch, coming off a solid 1:51 1/5 score and he can give the choice a tussle here; using. (4) WARRAWEE YANKEE was better last week, and he can take another share here. (1) FADE TO LIGHT is another coming in off a win, but these are much tougher. I'll use him underneath.

Race 5: NW $15,650 L5 or NW $22,000 L10 AE: NW $160,000 LT or NW $5,600 L3

(2) WOODMERE STEALDEAL was the first leader in a race where the winner tied the Canadian record for the fastest mile ever paced in Canada. He has a much better chance tonight on the class drop and he gets the nod. (1) POINTS NORTH finished just ahead of the choice, but he had an easier following trip. The drop should help him, too; using. (9) LIVINTHEBEACHLIFE brings some solid form north from the Meadowlands and aggressive teamster Henry will likely put him into play leaving the gate; price look. (8) ROCKME ROLLME dominated easier last week. He is likely a fringe player in this field.

Race 6: F&M 5YO and Younger winners of 2 but not more than 4 or $45,000 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $50,000 - Pick 5

(8) FAVORITE BEACH came up against a filly last week that is just too good for her at the moment, but she was best of the rest. She is in with a decent chance vs. these. (10) ILLUSION SEELSTER was close enough in some stakes to suggest she is in with a chance here despite drawing widest. She should get put into play leaving the gate. (9) BIG BIG PLANS was 4th to one of the best sophomore filly pacers on the grounds last time. She has upset possibilities here. (1) GRANDEUR SEELSTER faces easier and adds Lasix, but her 2023 form isn't great. Maybe she improves enough to make the top 4 tonight.

Race 7: 5YO and Younger NW2 or $30,000 LT - Pick 4

(4) VERDUN probably beat a better field when he absolutely jogged at this level on NA Cup night. I don't see him losing here. (8) THE MOMENT AROSE gets McNair tonight which can mean a more aggressive steer is coming. I'll try for some value in the Exacta with him. (5) PALLADIUM HANOVER, 3rd to the choice last week, should be in the exotics mix again. (7) MIDNIGHT NATION’s good late kick should get him a share here.

Race 8: Winners of 2 but not more than or $49,500 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $50,000

(5) H P MOMENTUM flew home in 52 2/5 last start after missing three weeks. If he is close enough at the head of the lane, he can get the job done here. (7) FROZEN HANOVER should appreciate the class relief here but he does have a stale date so I would demand a price. (2) NO CONTROL will take money dropping out of a Grand Circuit race, but he showed no fight in the lane then and he missed three weeks now. I have to try to beat him as a likely underlay. (1) FULL DISCLOSURE won't get bet here but he is capable of sitting a trip and landing in the bottom of the Super at a big price.

Race 9: FREE FOR ALL

(5) WARRAWEE VITAL had perfect conditions with race one starting early with the sun beating down on the track and no wind, and he delivered a track all-age and Canadian record tour-de-force. It's unlikely he comes close to that mile here, but when he is good, he can reel off a few wins in a row. He should repeat. (1) AMERICAN HISTORY tried first up but his pursuit was futile. He likely completes a chalky Exacta here. (6) THE GREEK FREAK couldn't be any sharper, but this is a tough spot. I see him rallying late for a share. (2) NAUTICAL HANOVER got wiped out in the Gold Cup at the head of the lane. He likely sits and rallies tonight.

Race 10: NW $8,000 L5 AE: OPT CLM $45,000

(6) HIGHLANDBEACHLOVER was airborne late in the mile two starts back then he drew post 10 in a 12-horse field and got what he could. He draws best now, and I think Drury rolls him this time; top call. (10) COMMANDING OFFICER takes a big class plunge here and he is hard to leave out despite drawing worst. Sharp (9) FLYING ART A races off the Moreau claim and he is another in with a shot here. (7) BEYOND BETTER is capable at this level. Draw a line in his last start where he started 12th of 12 then had an eventful trip and he is another contender. (3) SHADOW IN RED is sharp but this is a tough spot with the droppers; using underneath.
