(6) THE GREEK FREAK is only 1 for 19 this year but he was racing well before last week’s mile which was a futile chase in a sub-1:49 mile. He draws best here, and I’ll call him to break through for win number two. (10) EMMETTS BUDDY takes a big drop here, but he draws worst. Will Borth roll him and push for the front leaving the gate? I think so and that makes him hard to leave out but also a bit vulnerable to get a tough trip. (2) TORONTO tried a wide late move in that 1:48 4/5 mile and that was mission impossible. He is sharp and he can be closer here. (5) STORMALONG fits okay here, and he can sit a trip racing near the front and land a share.

Race 2: 5YO and younger winners of 2 but not more than 4 or $45,000 LT AE: 4YO NW $17,000 in 2024

(6) FAST LOUIE was simply beaten by a better colt in Trophy Taker last week and once he was passed, he also gave up the place spot to an onrushing (1) REIGN SUPREME. I’ll use both in the Pick 5 but give the nod to the former. (4) LEAVE IT TO LEO stole a slow middle 1/2 last time then buried his rivals. His trip won’t be as easy here and I’ll use him underneath. (7) SERGEANT SLAUGHTER goes for Auciello off the claim coming off two blowout wins vs. easier rivals on a 'B' track. I see a small share for him here.

Race 3: F&M NW $9,725 L5 AE: OPT CLM $50,000 AE: NW6 or $70,000 LT AE: N/A $1,420 P/S in 2023/24

(3) HUNTRESS drops off a tough trip when she was beaten less than three lengths and she looks best in here; top call. (7) BLUEMEA KISS was cooked on the engine in the same race, and she should get an easier trip here; Exacta factor. (6) CHEESY SMILE was bet down to chalk, and she never really got going until late in that mile. She can take a share here. (1) CHELSIS CHOICE raced better last week and although she faces tougher, she can get a share vs. these.

Race 4: NW $14,000 L5 AE: OPT CLM $70,000 AE: NW1 in 2024 - Pick 4

(4) LIVINTHEBEACHLIFE raced well, and he was narrowly beaten last time he raced at this level five starts back and he gets the nod here over the other big dropper (2) WHICHWAYTOTHEBEACH because that rival missed three weeks due to sickness. (5) HUNGRY MAN was decent last week closing in a fast mile. He is another that is capable in this field. (1) SOMETIME SOMEWHERE is sharp but this is a tough assignment. A small share is likely for him here.

Race 5: NW $2,185 L3 (Starters for a purse of $16K or more last start not eligible) A/E: N/A $985 P/S in 2024

(5) REVOLT looked much better when he dropped to the bottom level last week; speed blast coming now? (3) RILKOFF loomed up and looked like a winner racing wide in the stretch last week, but he got outsprinted late by a class dropper. He should be right there again tonight. (8) CONTROL THE POWER raced huge in defeat when last seen at this level in an amateur drivers race five starts back. I could see Borth blasting with him tonight; using. (4) HES GOT SWAGGER should be good for a share on the drop tonight.

Race 6: F&M NW $20,000 L5 or $31,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $90,000 AE: NW $25,500 L5 to draw outside - Pick 5

Good betting race here. (3) SHES GOT IT ALL was a no go from the 10-hole last week now she gets Jamieson and an inside post. An aggressive try is likely this time and she gets top billing. (8) ANGOSTURA HANOVER produced a big late rally to beat most of these last week and I don’t think the 8-hole is any worse than the rail for her. She is sharp and dangerous. (7) CAVIAR N CRACKERS is another that was flying late but she had too far to come taking the overland route. She could pick them all up if a couple of things go her way. (4) CHIEFS DREAM GIRL gains ground in the stretch in most of her starts and she is a good one to use underneath here.

Race 7: NW $8,950 L5 or $17,750 L10 AE: OPT CLM $50,000 or NW8 LT - Pick 4

(5) FLYINGEVENBETTOR N gets a few factors swinging his way tonight. He drops, draws one of the best posts and gets McNair back in the sulky. An aggressive try is likely, and he gets top call. (3) TYPHOON STRIDE N steps up again but he is razor sharp and a threepeat would be no surprise. (1) CODE CRACKER was the easiest kind of winner on the drop last time, but he steps up and others drop here. I’ll use him underneath. (4) SOUTHWIND SAMBUCCA fits well with these, but je has missed close to a month. I’ll use him underneath.

Race 8: F&M NW $9,725 L5 AE: OPT CLM $50,000 AE: NW6 or $70,000 LT AE: N/A $1,420 P/S in 2023/24

(6) POWDER PLAY drops to a logical spot after getting hung out to dry vs. better. She has a big shot to lead all the way starting from the best post. (3) SETTN A PRECEDENT raced better first up last week but the leader was resilient. Her form is on the upswing, and she is in with a decent chance here. (5) TWIN B TIPSTER steps up, but she is sharp, and she will likely close for another share in this spot. (1) ELLAS REASON A raced better last week to take a slice. I see her as a fringe player again tonight.

Race 9: NW $22,500 L5 AE: NW 9LT

I thought (3) BLUE HUNT raced well in the Gold Cup, and this is a spot where Cullen will put him on the lead and try to outsprint his rivals for the entire mile; top call. (5) AMERICAN HISTORY comes off an impressive win and on paper he has lots of pace to chase here. He should be a late threat; using. (2) CLEVER CODY tactfully kept the pocket sitter trapped in last week while simultaneously keeping the eventual winner live racing first-over. His speed will get him in good position early and he should be good for a share. (4) CODENAME CIGAR BOX should pass a few of these and land in the bottom of the exotics.

Race 10: F&M NW $4,000 L5 AE: OPT CLM $25,000 AE: NW4 LT

Trainer Barrington appears to hold all the cards here sending out last out winners (4) WATCH HER DEWITT, who shoots for a fourpeat, and (2) INDRA, who scorched her way to a fast lifetime mark on 6/11. I’ll side with the former who has shown grit and gameness on several occasions recently. (6) BETTER BE DONNA N was right there last time she dropped to this level. She is the one that could upset the Barrington duo. (3) GIMMIE A CORONA raced better last time, and she can take another slice in this spot. (5) MYSTIC WILD ROSE, who flashed big speed last Friday, will likely sit and rally this time.
