(3) BETTOR B GOING gets a shot against this higher group after two blowout wins. If the form continues, he can win again. (10) WANNABEABIGSTAR used another big back half plus a cover trip to vault himself to a win. Look for him to make multiple moves and be right there again. (5) SOMETIME SOMEWHERE was shuffled in his latest and unable to get to the outside where he likes to grind. Look for him to be more involved.

Race 2: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 RACES OR $30,000 (OS $37,500) LIFETIME.
(5) DR DAVE could surprise here given his two main rivals draw outside. He was never going to catch Johnny Angel but raced well there. (9) PLANKTON HANOVER was going to duel with Scorpion Seelster in the stretch, but made a miscue. If he bounces right back, he should be tough here. (10) I LOVE THIS BAR might be a touch too far back given the early speed to his inside, but another sustained bid could see him get a piece.
Race 3: FILLIES & MARES, 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 2 RACES OR $15,000 (ON SIRED $25,500) LIFETIME.
(2) CACKLE BERRY was an excellent second in her return and now gets major post relief. Hard to pick against her tonight. (8) MAKEMBLUSH HANOVER held well to be fourth in that same race and is likely to get a better setup if J-Mac blasts off the car. (3) MADAME PANIC went all the way in her latest and draws well. I would expect her to try and secure another forward trip.
Race 4: NW $2,800 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $7,500 LAST 8 STARTS.
(9) RBSTENACIOUS T showed plenty of pop from the back in his latest. I think this is the time where he goes forward and potentially tries to wire the field. (6) FRANCO SANTANA N gets away from some sharp rivals for his third start back and draws a post that benefits a Mark Mac speed try. (1) WHATCHULOOKIN AT looks for a wake up with this drop in class. The rail doesn’t bother me because he usually looks to race from off a helmet.
Race 5: SOMEBEACHSOMEWHERE. (GR 3). 3 YEAR OLD OPEN. STARTING FEE: $1,000 CDN. $775 USD.
(6) BRANDON BLVD is one of the best in this division and looms large after returning with a sharp win and qualifier. (7) SWEET LOVIN LOU could give him a big run for his money. He was sharp in his return and should definitely improve. I would expect him to make some noise if Beau Jangles isn’t around. (5) REDLAND ROCKET MAN hasn’t fired his best since returning but gets away from the top dog. Using some gate speed could do him some good.
Race 6: NW $6,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $15,000 LAST 8 STARTS (W/O $16,000 LAST 8 STARTS N/E).
(5) CODENAME CIGAR BOX has to leave this week, right? I said the same last week, and that didn’t happen. Now he drops again. This is the time to pace them off their feet. (3) JACK PANIC has more than enough gate speed and is usually a major threat at this level. Easy use on tickets. (6) LAMBORGHINI LOU is an interesting off the pace type for J-Mac who has thrived in this spot before. He will need to bring his A-game to beat these.
Race 7: GRADUATE SERIES: 4 YEAR OLD OPEN . LEG 1. STARTING FEE: $1,150 USD ($1,500 CAN). MADE PAYABLE TO WEG.
(6) MONSERRATE gets my nod off the strength of his latest race. He took significant play in both Kentucky stakes before that and Bartlett didn’t come up here just to sit, especially from this post. (8) MR MOUTON was a good third in his return with multiple moves and picks up a live catch driver in J-Mac. He should step forward tonight. (2) MR WALNER FASHION is the local hopeful here. He has strung together quality efforts and could show even more tonight.
Race 8: NW $20,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $33,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: NW $115,000 IN 2025-26.
(10) CHRISTOPHER DANCE N makes his debut for the Menary barn after two strong qualifiers behind Ervin Hanover. He is a high-speed horse that should slot right in here. (9) SAULSBROOK VICTOR has gotten back to his preferred method of racing. Both efforts at Tioga were strong on the front. Look for him to try the same tonight. (1) DUBLIN DASHER was just even last week, but a trip where he sits inside and knifes through late could see him get a piece.
Race 9: GRADUATE SERIES: 4 YEAR OLD OPEN . LEG 1. STARTING FEE: $1,150 USD. ($1,500 CAN). MADE PAYABLE TO WEG.
(2) BRUNO NO NO NO gets a rematch with his main rival after coming up short in the Juravinski. A win here likely gets him a call for the Battle of Lake Erie. (3) PRINCE HAL HANOVER has come back way sharper than I thought he would be and stamped his return with a clear win in the Juravinski. The top two should be dueling in the stretch. (8) PAPIS PISTOL was better in his latest. A similar stretch kick could see him pacing right with the top two if positioned accordingly.
Race 10: 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER NW $15,000 (ON SIRED $18,750) LIFETIME.
(10) MAJOR MIKI was a sharp second behind Johnny Angel and has plenty of early speed to overcome the post. He is the horse to beat here. (8) COULD BE KING was a good winner last week and is likely to be forwardly placed again. He could be set for a potential pocket trip behind the #10. (5) DYLANS VETT has a ton of closing speed that should be utilized better against a top-heavy field. I can see him getting a piece tonight.

Race 11: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 3 RACES OR $70,000 LIFETIME. AE: 4 YO NW $14,000 L4.
(3) AXIAL was a good second behind the white-hot Figment and had to move back inside when Major Threat bore out in the stretch. Good mile overall, and he should be positioned well again. (5) BACKUP PLAN comes out of that same race but was pace compromised. The trip from two starts ago is what he needs here. (4) BLAZING CRUISER saved all the ground last week and sprinted well when called on. He has the gate speed to get himself a good trip at a square number.
Race 12: NW $9,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $24,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000. AE: N/A $2,300 P/S IN 2026. AE: NW $27,500 IN 2026 (MIN 8 STARTS).
Tricky finale. (3) CHAIN GANG gets a huge post switch third back and will look to capitalize. I’ll count on him being ready to roll. (6) JABBERWOCKY got a big confidence booster last week and draws a post where a repeat trip and effort is possible. He fits at a level like this when he is on his game. (9) GINGER TREE FINNY was excellent in his return qualifier and could be ready to roll right away. Tote board may hint at his chances.
