(7) HERVEY HANOVER raced well vs. tougher last week and he gets off the rail for this. A 7-day break between starts is like a rest for him these days and Cullen should get aggressive with him; top call. (8) ARUKIDINME CABBIE drops and he is another who should be looking to leave quicker in this spot; using. (4) OFFICER JONES looked good surging up late to grab the win in London on Tuesday and he is capable vs. these. He is another Pick 5 option to consider. (1) HARRY G won here in February and he is another that raced well in London on Tuesday; consider for the exotics.

Race 2: 5YO and Younger NW 4 or $65,000 LT AE: 4YO to be claimed for $40,000

Not much went right for (1) PETER POOLE last week, but he did finish full of pace. I'll give him a slight nod in a race with several options. (8) HIGH FLYIN JAMIE also got a tough trip, racing first up chasing an unyielding leader. He is in with a good chance tonight. (2) SPORTS REPORT is another that was close in that same race as the top two choices and moving inside should help him here; using. (9) DR JOE will likely rally for a small share from his wide draw tonight.

Race 3: Popup Starters NW $35,000 in 2021/22

(2) GOOD AND SWEET was full value for his upset win last week, blasting from the outside, cutting all the fractions and gamely holding on. He gets the call to repeat off that effort. (1) NO BETTOR JOY wasn't far behind vs. better. He is the obvious threat. (5) DAY DELIGHT gets post relief which should be enough for him to take a share. (8) LITTLE MANNY can rally for a small share from his wide draw.

Race 4: Horses who have started for a purse of $12,000 or less in 1 of L3 - Pick 4

(3) LETS GET PICKLED tried to make a middle move to the front last week, but the leader wouldn't allow it and they both suffered from battling through that 27 3/5 second 1/4. That he only was beaten two lengths made it a strong performance and he gets top call here. (7) YACHT SEELSTER probably has his mojo back coming off two blowout London wins. A big speed try is very possible here and he is hard to leave out. (6) BRAVE WORLD got by far the best trip last week and he capitalized on it. I am inclined to bet against him here figuring he will get overbet. (5) SUNDOWN KID is the one that forced the choice into the pocket and paid the price late. His speed makes him a threat every week.

Race 5: NW $12,200 L5 or $23,700 L10 or NW6 LT AE: Popup Starters

(6) HIGHLANDBEACHLOVER gets post and class relief tonight and regular pilot Drury back. He should bounce back in this spot. (2) CENTURY HEINEKEN has more than enough speed for this class and if he is fully cranked, he will be hard to get by; using. (3) SOUTHBEACH HANOVER comes out of a tough race where he got involved early at a big price and stuck around for a check. He has upset potential tonight. (8) SAULSBROOK VICTOR should close late for another slice.

Race 6: NW $8,900 L5 or $18,400 L10 - Pick 5

(4) BETTORBUCKLEUP takes a big class drop here and Macdonald chose him over others. He should wake up in this spot. (2) TAKE A GAMBLE is the other big dropper who figures to go much better tonight; using. (3) CENTURY FURY got used up in the first 1/2 last week. I can see him sitting a trip and taking a share this time. (10) SOMETIME SOMEWHERE, another dropper, can sneak into the Tri or Super passing a few late.

Race 7: NW $17,000 L5 or NW $28,000 L10 or NW $120,000 LT AE: NW $1K L4 - Pick 4

(1) BEYOND BETTER raced much better last week, rallying wide from an impossible spot in a sub-1:50 mile. He could get a great setup for his late charge here; call to upset. (2) LINEDRIVE HANOVER has been perfect in 2022 but the bubble is going to burst sometime, right? This race could go much faster and I can see him getting picked off late. (6) STONEBRIDGE REX raced great last week but the winner was on a different level. He will be a speed threat here. (4) SWEET DEISEL will likely sit in and rally late for a share.

Race 8: NW3 or $30,000 LT AE: 4YO to be claimed for $25,000

(7) DYNOMITES PEAK showed high speed at two. This field should be well within his scope, but keep in mind he has much bigger fish to fry this summer and he doesn't have to win this race. I liked the way (8) MAYHEM LIKE ME closed last week. He has upset potential here. (3) SIGHTS ON YOU likely sits and rallies here which is his best race. He is another possible upsetter. (1) CENTURY INVICTUS was no match for a surging rival late last week. I see him taking another slice here.

Race 9: PREFERRED HANDICAP

(6) JIMMY FREIGHT has been using his good tactical speed to work out good trips and capitalize and he has some options here starting from the outside; call to repeat. (5) WHEELS ON FIRE did most of the work last week and was shaded late by the choice. He is the obvious danger. (4) POINTS NORTH dropped and smoked 'em, but the last time he won at this level was in October 2020. I will play to beat him here. Superstar mare (3) SO MUCH MORE has beat the boys before but she more often takes a share and that is what is likely for her tonight.

Race 10: NW $5,900 L5 or $12,000 L10

(5) ISLANDSPECIALMAJOR gets needed class relief tonight and a better post, too. He should have a big shot vs. these. (7) SHADOW IN RED comes off a good first-over effort and he could do here if he can find cover this time; using. (2) FOREFATHER can be dangerous here getting class and post relief and McNair back; beware. (6) CHAMPAGNE PHIL closed a bit into an accelerating late pace last week. He can take a share here. (3) RACEMUP brings sharp form back from the 'B' tracks and he can be part of the High-5.
