Determination unveils $300K Harrisburg buy (7) TWIN B NATION, who looks ready to roll on debut; top call. (5) IKES DREAM had no chance trying to close from 5th into a 26 4/5 kicker. He adds Lasix now and he will probably get more aggressive leaving the gate. He is one of several in with a decent chance. $275K yearling (2) STEEL COWBOY had an eventful debut then he missed a few weeks. The time off could help in this case if they were ironing out some issues. (8) SPORTY JEWELS is a debutant that is sent out by a barn that has them ready. He is worth a look for the exotics.

Race 2: 5YO and Younger NW $15,000 LT

(1) THE MOMENT AROSE wasn't asked for anything in his 2023 debut and he paced a 55-flat back 1/2 so he should be nice and tight for this second start. He gets McNair now which should mean more aggression, slight nod. (4) VERDUN is fast yet quirky. If he stays flat tonight, he likely wins, but what price will you take hoping he doesn't run? (6) BIG DREAM FELLA has a similar profile as the choice, and he is sneaky in here moving to the best post; price look. (2) WALL STREET BELL gets away from monster No Control and he should improve by default here and enter contention for a decent share.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRED GRADUATE SERIES PACE 3rd Leg

(4) CAMARA MOMENT will likely take a stranglehold of this race soon after the start and lead all the way. He will be a single for me. (1) RON finished ahead of the choice last week and he will likely race in his pocket tonight. He is the most likely alternative to the choice. (3) DREAMFAIR ARNIE B has two tighteners under his belt, and he fits well here, but he will likely be a victim of a moderate pace. I'll use him underneath. (2) KOLBY TWO STEP likely rounds out the Super.

Race 4: 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,500 LT - Pick 4

(5) BETTOR BEA TERROR took all the money at the windows last week but trying to close into the race's fastest 1/4 at the end of the mile in a driving rainstorm was mission impossible. His price should be better here and that makes him enticing. (1) NOTORIOUS HANOVER made two moves against a strong favorite in a good effort, and he is the obvious threat. (3) BETTOR B SIRIUS finished ahead of the choice, but he got a better trip. I'll use him underneath tonight. (2) MUFFERAW JOE comes out of the same race as the choice and he is another that should improve here.

Race 5: NW $16,900 L5 or NW $29,700 L8 AE: NW1 L10 or NW $105,000 LT

(2) MAPPOS LION crushed easier as expected, but he has shown he is capable of contending with these and he should offer a great price tonight; top call. (4) POINTS NORTH typically gets aggressive when dropped to this level but I think it's noteworthy that he is 1 for 15 so far this year. I would demand a price. (7) BACKSTREET GAMBLER hasn't missed the Exacta this year and he returns in a tough spot, but he looks sharp and he should offer a square price facing some droppers; using. (1) SOMETIME SOMEWHERE fits better at this level and he should take a share here at a minimum.

Race 6: 5YO and Younger winners of 2 but not more than 5 races or $45,000 AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $60,000 AE: NW1 L9 - Pick 5

Tough race with some good returning sophomore stakes types facing elders. I'll side with (8) HP MOMENTUM, who couldn't be any sharper for a barn that continues to run hot. (4) LAST BEACH figures to get a great trip racing near the front in this spot and he is worth a long look at a price. (2) SANTANNA HANOVER ended his rookie season with a 2nd to the top pacing colt in North America and he should be in the mix here. (5) WRITE ME A ROSE raced okay in his sophomore debut and he should be closing late again tonight; using underneath.

Race 7: NW $8,700 L5 AE: Starters for a purse of $13K L4

(1) ST LADS CASH has been flying home and he figures to get a solid pace to chase this week. He can vault past these late. (6) HAIL CHRISTIAN N is another that has been firing home quickly that should be sitting on a big mile. He is the other one that I'll use on multi-race tickets. (3) MAJOR HILL has raced well twice in a row since moving into Barrington's barn and he is in the exotics mix again here. (9) CODENAME CIGAR BOX likely sets the pace and hangs around for another small share.

Race 8: 5YO and Younger NW2 or $30,000 LT

(4) REDWOOD HANOVER was stellar in his sophomore debut and this is a field that he can repeat against. I like (7) GUNG HO's qualifiers preparing for this sophomore debut and he adds Lasix for this start. He can be an Exacta factor. (2) RED COIN raced better last week and he can take a share here. (3) CALL ME IT should be passing many of these late and he is worth using on the bottom of the exotics.

Race 9: PREFERRED 2 - Pick 4

(4) WARRAWEE VITAL dropped back at the start last week and he had no chance when the opening 1/2 was cut in 56. I think he blasts this time and tries to go down the road. Super mare (5) SO MUCH MORE is hard to leave out in any field and she is fast enough to beat these males; using. (3) ROLL WITH THE FLOW tripped out to win but he had to pace in 1:49-flat to do it. He is a threat right back. (7) THE LONGEST YARD steps up off a predictable win and he likely closes late to take a share here.

Race 10: NW $8,700 L5 AE: Starters for a purse of $13K L4

(7) CADILLAC BAYAMA drops and likely pops facing much easier tonight. (3) RESPECT OUR FLAG is capable at this level and he should get positioned closer to the front tonight starting from a better post; price look. (5) BEYOND BETTER's 1:51 4/5 win last week may not be as good as it looks because he got a perfect trip and drive. Facing tougher now, I am inclined to try to beat him. (9) BAYFIELD BEACH is worth using in the exotics at a price with the good speed he can show despite drawing widest.

Race 11: 5YO and Younger Claiming $35,000

(2) DRAGON ENERGY, claimed out of a win, will likely get a similar trip tonight as he did last week, and he gets the call to repeat. (3) DOC HOUSTON is in easier facing claimers tonight and he should wake up in this spot; using. (8) JJ TOMMY had every chance to get past the choice in the lane when the leader drifted out 10 lanes and he couldn't get there. I'll use him underneath starting from a wide post tonight. (6) THE LEGEND HANOVER seems to be going in the wrong direction now and another pop and stop is likely.

Race 12: NW $1,500 L3

This is a big drop for (4) GOING FAST, who won at a higher level five starts back and he gets the nod vs. these. (6) ALLUNEEDISFAITH N was first up against tougher and he is in with a shot here starting from the best post. He will offer a good price, too, with a driver in the bike that is not a Mohawk regular. (1) SUN CHIP could do no wrong here in March. Perhaps the drop and driver switch to Henry will wake him up. (5) THE BOSS SAID is capable of better and I can see him sitting until the lane and making one move to land in the exotics. (7) FABRIZIO N races best for McNair but he has missed four weeks and I'll use him on the bottom considering the time that was missed.
