Top Pick Stats: 153/531 (-$295.70) Best Bets: 21/48 (-$13.60); Spot Plays: 14/50 (-$21.70) Best Bet: BRUE HANOVER (Race 9) Spot Play: WESTERN WISH (Race 11) Early Pick-5: 6,10/1,7/5,6/5,9/5   $3.20 Middle Pick-5: 2,9/3,5/5,6/5/6,8   $3.20 Late Pick-5: 5,6/5/6,8/9/6,8   $1.60 Race 1: NW $12,500 LAST 4 STARTS.  AE : NW $136,000 IN 2025-2026. (6) DUBLIN DASHER has been a frustrating use at the Open level, but it’s hard to see him not potentially wire this field from the winningest post. (10) COLD CREEK QUESO gets away from the Menary duo and finds a level that he has fit well at in the past. He has the gate speed to get himself into a decent spot off the car. (2) JORDY N was a strong second last week after making two moves. The post relief makes him a factor. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: FILLIES & MARES, WINNERS OF 3 BUT NOT MORE THAN 5 RACES OR $110,000 (OS $145,000) LIFETIME. (1) SUNSHINE MAGIC gets a key drop from the Open level where she had honestly been holding her own at big prices. Cullen returns to the bike; I’ll trust him to put her in a winning spot. (7) TH SUMMER LOVIN was left chasing Tells On A Roll after that rival cleared her. She has raced well in both efforts this year. (8) DIRTY DIANA was decent in flashes last season, and showed some gate speed in the start of winter that could prove useful in her return. Race 3: ONTARIO SIRED SPRING SERIES PACE: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS, NW $30,000 IN 2025. NO ALLOWANCES. LEG 1. (6) LETR SINK SON lacked room twice in the stretch but still provided plenty of late interest. A cleaner trip should see him right there. (5) RIP THE PAGE proved he could fit with NW2 types last week and finds a slightly softer spot. He will need to show more gate speed this week, but he displayed it in the morning. (9) COUNT ON GORD has done little wrong this year and paced home well against the repeating Solidarity. He worked out a nice trip two back from the same post. Race 4: ONTARIO SIRED SPRING SERIES TROT: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS, NW $30,000 IN 2025. NO ALLOWANCES. LEG 1. (5) UP TO NO GOUDA has produced back to back miles that fit very well against this group. He had to swing wide last week after being shuffled and made up good ground. I’ll give him the nod this week. (9) THOR B GOOD was a sharp winner on debut almost a month ago, but the next time we saw him was in the morning behind stakes horse Greenarrow Hanover. He should be able to work out a decent trip in this spot. (6) P L TALLADEGA is logical after kicking off his sophomore season with a win a couple weeks ago. The breaking issues haven’t resurfaced yet. Race 5: WINNERS OF 3 BUT NOT MORE THAN 7 RACES OR $80,000 (OS $120,000) LIFETIME. AE: 4 YO NW $15,000 LAST 4 STARTS. (5) AYEAYE CAPTAIN DEO looks ready to fire after a blowout qualifying win last week. We hardly saw him in anything but stakes competition as a sophomore. (3) FRANCO SANTANA N was used hard to get to the lead, and looked okay at the top of the stretch, but the final eighth really took its toll. I can see him rebounding if he follows a helmet from up close. (1) SOS SPORTS BET gets away from Get Wings but has to deal with another likely monster. He could be in a tougher spot if others outsprint him off the car. Race 6: NW $9,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $25,000 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000. (9) LOUS WORLD gets a sharp drop in class which could set up for a fun Mark Mac speed try from the outside. (2) JJ XAVIER has posted back to back strong efforts at this level. He more than fits here, and the big post switch tonight helps for sure. (8) GINGER TREE FINNY drops back to the level where he won two starts ago. J-Mac gets the call tonight; He should have plenty of trip options off the car. Race 7: ONTARIO SIRED SPRING SERIES PACE: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD COLTS & GELDINGS, NW $30,000 IN 2025. NO ALLOWANCES. LEG 1. (3) THIRTY SIX RED will likely be the underlay of the evening, but it’s extremely hard to ignore J-Mac picking up the lines after the horse kicked as well as he did. (5) TWIN B CABO is another who comes out of the aforementioned Solidarity race. He has been okay to start his sophomore season, but I think a much better effort looms if he can work off a helmet from up close. (7) DEAD MANS CHAIN couldn’t quite make his late kick work like he did two starts ago. Some tired rivals up front can see him get a piece. Race 8: FILLIES & MARES, NW $9,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $18,500 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000. AE: NW $80,000 IN 2025-2026. (6) VERITY BLUE CHIP was closing like a rocket once she found room, and just got up to nail the odds-on favorite in her season debut. She should have plenty of trip options again with her gate speed and one of Mohawk’s winningest posts. (5) MADAM X was the mare who got picked off last week, though she put forth another good effort. Those two could be battling again in the stretch. (8) AVYANNA gets a sharp drop from the top level, and has a couple recent back lines with gate speed that hint at it potentially being used tonight. Race 9: OPEN. (5) BRUE HANOVER bore out in the stretch, and it just barely cost him the win in his first start in a few weeks. He gets back on a regular rotation and stands to be one of a few tough customers in a strong top-level pace. (6) BRUNO NO NO NO should have every chance at his stablemate after a sharp rebound win in the New Holland Pacing Series Final. Others will take their shots, though. (9) CALICOJACK HANOVER is likely extremely up against it from a pace standpoint, but his late kick is extremely sharp. He can get a piece if he can work out any kind of mid-pack trip. Race 10: FILLIES & MARES, NW $2,500 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $5,000 LAST 8 STARTS. (W/O $19,500 LAST 8 STARTS N/E). AE: OPT. CLM. $20,000. (6) UTOPIA BLUE CHIP gets another couple steps of relief down the class ladder, which could set Spence up for a speed try this week. If she falters late, it wildly opens up in my opinion. (8) SUPERIOR DELIGHT one million percent appreciated the time off after a gritty sophomore campaign that saw her earn six figures the hard way. This could be the time to snag her at a square number. (7) ONE LAST BET had enough left to hold on for third after being close to a fast opening half. She could take advantage if the leaders tire, but she doesn’t win much. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 11: FILLIES & MARES, NW $6,000 LAST 4 STARTS OR NW $12,750 LAST 8 STARTS (W/O $15,000 LAST 8 STARTS N/E) AE: NW $2,390 L3. (9) WESTERN WISH was just okay last week, but I think she can be excused slightly for having to race first over. She needs to find her form again, and it could happen with a speed try. (2) STYLE FOR A MILE towers over a majority of these with her back class, but the quirks made themselves known again last week. McNair getting back in the bike does signal that she could easily drop and pop. (3) HORIZON SEELSTER debuts for the Menary barn after a solid morning prep last week. She deserves a bit of a look here. Race 12: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 3 RACES OR $66,000 LIFETIME. AE: 4 YO N/A $2,280 P/S IN 2025-2026. (8) FIRE CONTROL went a huge effort in his latest and was still making up ground on the leaders at the end. He is likely to take plenty of support this week. (6) TWIN B COURAGEOUS was much better last week and should get a big piece again if he can sustain his middle move. (1) ZEBS KRAFTY just hasn’t been able to finish miles in the past, but always takes money against a group like this. The speed has been there for a long time now, but he just hasn’t quite put it all together.
