Top Pick Stats: 114 - 364 / $558.70 (-$169.70) Best Bets: 21 - 35 / $69.90 (-$0.10) Spot Plays: 4 - 33 / $14.30 (-$51.70) Best Bet: ST LADS BEAT IT (4TH) Spot Play: LETS TIE ONE ON (5TH) Early Pick 5: 4,5,6/4,7/2,4,6,7/8/1,3,10 = $14.40 Late Pick 5: 1,2,7/1,5,8/1,6/2,5/1,6,7 = $21.60 Early Pick 4: 8/1,3,10/1,2,7/1,5,8 = $5.40 Late Pick 4: 1,5,8/1,6/2,5/1,6,7 = $7.20 Race 1:  NW $22,800 LT AE: NW $350 in 2024 **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5** (4) LAMBORGHINI LOU’s win last week was easier than it looks on paper as he was under no urging in the lane, and he was never getting caught. He faces tougher now, but he has upside and I’ll stick with him. (6) TARQUINUS HANOVER will take action based on his sub-55 back 1/2 last week but his should be a big threat and he will likely get a more aggressive steer tonight; using. (5) BRIGUS is in with a chance here, but it’s concerning that he couldn’t reach up in two straight when the pace slowed. He will offer little value in this spot. (2) MR ANDREYCHUK went too fast too early last week. He could go better in this spot. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW $9,650 L5 or $18,750 L10 (4) HP MOMENTUM drops, gets Henry back and gets a short field from where his late kick will probably be effective. He gets the nod to mow them down late. (7) POINTS NORTH drops again and he was Macdonald’s choice, and he should be looking to go down the road from the widest post; using. (1) BEE TWO BEE won last time he raced this low, and he is in the exotics mix here. (3) ROCKME ROLLME races best around this level and he could better this placing with a good trip. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Mohawk Park card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: NW $22,800 LT AE: NW $350 in 2024 Good betting race here with several possibilities for early Pick 5 tickets. (4) MANHAWK got pounded at the windows last week in his 2024 debut, but he was mildly driven in a start he probably needed. He should be better now; top call. (2) TRICKY MCWICKY comes with his late charge every week and he will be the one to fend off again here. (7) LOGAN BEHOLD was right there in a fast race and he is another in with a shot here. (6) SAILORS SHADOW beat a colt that came right back to win and that was a sharp effort. He too is in the mix. Race 4: CLM HDCP $30,000 to $40,000 - Pick 4 (8) ST LADS BEAT IT goes to Moreau off the claim after almost winning when parked forever. He will be tough in here if he gets an easier trip, which is likely. (10) ORDER ONE TO GO absolutely rockets him every week, but he is in a tough spot here, most likely needing to pass them all to get the job done; using underneath. (6) HEAD HONCHO got the job done when claimed and he goes for Auciello here. He is in the exotics mix likely racing near the front most of the way. (2) VIPER steps up off the Fellows claim but he is sharp, and he can land a share. Race 5: Horses that have raced for a purse of $15K or less in 1 of L3 (10) LETS TIE ONE ON has been good vs. better in his last two starts and I’ll ride with him from post 10 expecting to get a price that makes it worth the risk. (3) AMERICAN HISTORY got hammered at the windows last week, but he was simply too far back. Drawing better here makes him a big threat; using. (1) FLYINGEVENBETTOR N improved sharply last week and when he is at his best, he can beat these. He is another to consider for early multi-race tickets. (2) LEGION SEELSTER will likely sit a trip near the front and take a share. Race 6: NW $27,000 L5 - Pick 5 (2) MOMAS SON BYRNE gets needed class relief here and he is a good candidate to lead all the way tonight. (1) SOMETIME SOMEWHERE is the other dropper in here and he will likely be heard from late in this spot; using. (7) JABBERWOCKY comes in off a sharp effort where he finished 2nd to a hot horse. He should be in the exotics mix again. (4) WHEELS ON FIRE is no doubt the class of this field, but when he was last seen racing for a purse here, he was involved in a wreck in the Mohawk Gold Cup. I would imagine the goal tonight is to get him around and tightened up. Race 7: Winners of 4 but not more than 6 or $90,750 LT AE: CLM $60,000 - Pick 4 (5) NAZARE made two moves in a good effort in a losing cause, and he gets the leading driver now; top call. (1) SPEAKER OF PEACE missed close to a month after sweeping the Snowshoe Series and he paced a sub-54 back 1/2 last week. He figures to be the main threat here. (8) LARCENY is right there every week at this level and his tactical speed and ability to rough it and keep coming makes him dangerous; using. (3) WOODMERE FENN can close for a small share here. Race 8: 5YO and younger NW2 or $30,000 LT (1) DON’T FREAK OUT is best in here and he should beat these if he gets a reasonable trip. (6) KYLES ART followed the choice’s backstretch brush move, but a 26 3/5 third 1/4 took the wind out of his sails. He could turn the tables here with the right trip. (2) D A LUNCHBOX got the trip last week, but he also shaved more than five seconds off his lifetime best. He should be part of the exotics again. (5) CALL ME IT got a terrible trip two starts back then he rallied for a share last week. He can take another share here. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: NW $4,000 L5 or $11,500 L10 (5) BEYOND BETTER is sharp and he gets the leading driver in a spot where he should offer a good price stepping up to face some class droppers. I’ll give him the nod. (2) FOREFATHER drops and his late kick should play well vs. these; using. (7) BETTER TAKE IT is another dropper that figures to go better in this spot, but I prefer to use him underneath. (4) HUNTER HILL was a runaway last week and he got leg weary late and got picked off. He faces tougher now and a smaller share is likely his ceiling tonight. Race 10: 5YO and younger winners of 2 but not more than 4 or $45,000 LT (6) ALL BETS ON TEX is razor sharp and trainer/driver Moore will put him into the race leaving the gate. He should be the one to catch. (1) KAPTAIN KARLOS fits this class well and Drury will put him into play from the rail. He would be no surprise in this spot. (7) NIGHTIME DANCER made a couple of moves in a decent effort last week and he is another possibility for late multi-race tickets. (4) BETS SHOW OFF is always passing rivals at this level, but he often falls victim to trip and pace. I’ll use him underneath. (9) BACK TO THE FUTURE steps up off a nice win and he can get a check here.
