Race 1: 3YO and 4YO Colts and Geldings NW1 or $7,500 LT **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
(6) ROYAL JK produced a big late kick when 2nd in an improved effort last week and he gets the nod to break his maiden tonight. (1) SPORTY BOB is another that was live late and making his second start he should get more aggressive now. He would be no surprise. (5) RED COIN showed some ability last year and he seems well-prepped for this sophomore debut. He should be a threat. (2) DELIGHTFUL FEELING was out of position and a 27 2/5 kicker didn't get him a check. He should be in the exotics mix tonight.

Race 2: Winners of 4 but not more than 6 or $80,000 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $60,000
(1) EMMETTS BUDDY fired home last week but the class-dropping winner was just too tough. I can see him getting the setup that he craves in this spot; call to upset. (2) BACKSTREET GAMBLER has been close to perfect since Boxing Day, but he has missed three weeks and he could have a chink in his armor tonight. (5) CAMARA MOMENT looked tremendous beating the choice in the Snowshoe series final, but he is another that has missed some time. (3) SPORTS FAN was a very sharp winner at this level last time, but he loses suspended McNair tonight; your call.
Race 3: NW $27,500 L5
(1) POINTS NORTH almost chased down a loose leader that cut some wild fractions last week. With that rival in the Free For All tonight, this gelding should take care of business here. (3) HESINCONTROL paced a 53-flat back 1/2 and he was only 3/4 of a length behind the choice at the wire. He is in with a shot here. (7) CADILLAC BAYAMA roared home to win but this is a tougher chore; small share predicted. (5) SOMETIME SOMEWHERE split the top two but he seems likely to take a smaller share here; using underneath.
Race 4: 5YO and Younger NW $15,000 LT - Pick 4
(1) CALL ME IT had a big late kick to offer last time but unfortunately for him, so did the leader that he was trying to catch. He gets the nod here in what looks like a good spot. (5) HEAD HONCHO was totally buried for most of the stretch drive, and he was never getting more than 4th off that trip. He should be a live contender tonight. (10) BETTER SUNSET got hopelessly buried two starts back and he was made favorite in his next start because of that trouble. He was aggressive but he couldn’t seal the deal on the engine. His price goes up now and I can see him cracking the exotics. (2) DELIGHTFUL LEADER figures to close late for another slice here.
Race 5: NW $16,000 L5 AE: Starters for a purse of $13,000 L2
(6) BAYFIELD BEACH was flying late last week but he got set back for interfering with a rival at the head of the lane. He can win here if he gets clear sailing earlier. (2) SHADOW IN RED tried to bottom out the field and it almost worked. He is sharp and dangerous. (4) CODENAME CIGAR BOX was giving some time off after throwing in a dud at 8 to 5 when facing better. The tote board may tell you all you need to know about this one's chances. (9) CHEDDAR BAY raced well when elevated to a win last week and he can contend for a share facing tougher.
Race 6: 3YO and 4YO Colts and Geldings NW1 or $7,500 - Pick 5
(8) SPEAKER OF PEACE flashed late speed now he gets McClure back. I'll give him a slight nod in a tough race. (6) COBRA CREEK finished willingly for 4th racing on the inside in the lane in his debut and he can improve off that decent first effort; using. (7) EVERYONES HERO gets a better post after finishing ahead of the choice and his potent gate speed makes him a contender in this spot. (2) TEEN TATTLER is another that gets off post 10 that can last longer and take a share tonight.
Race 7: 5YO and Younger winners of 2 but not more than 4 or $45,000 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $50,000
(6) SOUTHSIDE EDDY was pacing a sub-1:50 winning mile when last seen in the fall of 2022 and he can obviously beat these if he is sharp enough. (4) HUNTED HOUSE cut a big opening 1/2 and almost held on last week. He is sharp and I think he rallies off a helmet tonight; using. (3) J J XAVIER took a new life's mark when claimed by a sharp barn and he is another in with a shot here. (2) SUN CHIP tripped out to win when claimed by Team Cullen. I'll use him underneath tonight.
Race 8: 5YO and Younger NW2 or $30,000 LT
(3) NIGHT SHADOW should be able to lay closer tonight and make best use of his good late kick; top call. (5) TANGO SEELSTER raced decently last week for a barn that has been running hot lately. He may be the one to catch tonight; using. (2) STOP THE SHOOTIN motored late off a following trip and he is a contender right back. He could get overbet here, though. (9) FLIGHT ONEFORTYSIX is capable at this level, but he is quite often out of position. He is likely to take a small share in this spot.
Race 9: FREE FOR ALL - Pick 4
(3) SANDBETWEENMYTOES was too pumped up early in the mile last week and he had nothing left at the head of the lane. He isn't typically a runaway, and I can see him tripping out at a price here tonight. (7) SO MUCH MORE got a good trip and Macdonald capitalized. She continues to bring her best every week and she has options starting from the outside post. (2) WHEELS ON FIRE took a while to get in gear in the lane but he was motoring late, and he is in the mix in a good betting race. (6) SAULSBROOK VICTOR popped pocket on the choice when that one started to tire, but in doing so he provided perfect cover to the winner. He is another in with a shot.
Race 10: NW $8,000 L5
(5) SAILBOAT HANOVER beat much better than these six starts back and he is going to be tough to beat here on the multi-level class drop. (1) RESPECT OUR FLAG got a good breather but he couldn't seal the deal as chalk when dropped to this level last week. The front end isn't his best trip, however and I think he sits and rallies for a good share tonight. (3) FLASH TOTHE FINISH paced a big mile in defeat in his first start for Bourassa and he is worth a look at a price for the bottom of the exotics. (7) SIMON SAYS HANOVER is a dropper who can improve enough to take a slice.

Race 11: NW $4,550 L5
(8) SECOND BRUISER is facing much easier here and I would think that Jones will look to take a stranglehold on this race early; top call. (10) MAD MAN HILL race well last week and he had a clear lead at the 1/16th pole, but no one was holding off the winner that was charging down the middle of the track. He could provide some Exacta value tonight. (5) DR JOE would have been 2nd last week but the winner put a wheel into him nearing the wire. He can close for a share here. (6) NO BETTER JOY is another dropper that can land a share in this spot.
Race 12: NW $1,700 L3
(7) FABRIZIO N can lead all the way here after flashing speed vs. tougher last week. (2) TWIN B POWERBALL dropping and adding Lasix should be more aggressive here and I could see him tripping out in the choice’s pocket. He is the other one that I'll use in the late Pick 4. (1) JET ROCK will probably sit and make a late rally here to land in the exotics again. (5) DANCE MACHINE is worth a look for the exotics moving to Auciello off the claim tonight. (10) BIG ACE is a good one to use on the bottom of the Super/High-5 because he will be a big price and he frequently lands on the edges.
