(10) CAPTAIN VIDEO was given a week off after enduring three taxing first-over trips in a row. From the second tier post he should be able to grab some cover this week and he gets the nod. (6) UHTRED has shown in the past that he has the speed to go with these and he qualified well for this first start in six months; using. (9) GOING FAST looked good vaulting past weaker in deep stretch last week but vs. tougher and starting from the worst post I can only use him underneath. (7) GRAND POOBAH hasn’t missed the top four for several weeks. Give him a look for the Super.

Race 2: NW $5,000 L5 or $10,000 L10

(5) WILD AND CRAZY GUY takes a big class drop here and Filion is sure to put him into play early. He should be tough to beat at a short price. (6) DANCER HALL was right there at the wire racing one class higher last week and he should be the main danger, if there is to be one. (1) WINGS OF SPEED should improve getting out of the second tier for this dash; using underneath. (2) OH SO PINE is in the mix every week and he should take another slice here.

Race 3: 5YO and Younger NW3 or $61,000 LT

(7) BETTER TAKE IT had to pace a 27-flat third 1/4 last week to make front and that took its toll last in the mile. Getting his nose back on the gate should help him here and he gets top call. Import (5) UNDRTHSOUTHRNSUN N looks well prepped for his local debut by conditioner Auciello and he can be a threat immediately; using. (8) MENLO PARK was game last week but racing first up against the choice was taxing for him. He is capable of a good late burst and I see him coming on for a share tonight. (2) LOUS DELIGHT converted a nice trip into his second win last week but these are tougher and a small share is likely for him this time.

Race 4: F&M NW $14,000 L5 or NW $29,500 L10 - Pick 4

(3) HELLO LOVE drops to a logical spot and she is likely to assert her will early in this mile; top call. (2) KLOOF STREET is the other one dropping a few class levels and she could vault past the choice late if she sits a nice trip. (4) MIA CULPA should get a solid pace to chase here and she can come on late to land in the Tri. (5) SWIFT ALLY is another closer that should appear on the scene late to take a slice.

Race 5: NW $5,000 L5 or $12,800 L8

(9) REGAL SON paced a huge mile last week when hooked the entire way and he dug in late to hold 2nd only to be set back for a pylon violation. He gets the nod here despite drawing widest. (5) MONEYMAN HILL, the 3rd-place finisher in last year's North America Cup, looks ready for this seasonal debut and he is hard to leave off multi-race tickets. (1) MAJOR HILL couldn't get by the choice and he paid the price. From the rail he can and should get a much better trip tonight and he has an upset chance. (6) BUTTER BAY HANOVER has a better chance to pass some horses late racing at this level and he is a good one to use on the bottom of Tris and Supers.

Race 6: CLAIMING HANDICAP $25,000 to $30,000 - Pick 5

(6) MACH IMPACT couldn't stay with hot Military Secret last week but he did hold 2nd now he goes for Auciello off the claim. He should be tough in here. (7) DOWN ON MY LUCK was a winner at this track three starts back and his isn't out of place vs. these; using. (5) JULERICA could be closer tonight making his third start back. If he starts his move earlier, he may upset. (1) PRINT MEDIA goes for Moreau off the claim but he steps up and I prefer to use him underneath in this spot.

Race 7: NW $8,500 L5 or $17,000 L10 AE: OPT CLAIMING $25,000

(6) HOT WHEELZ beat easier while under a death grip last week and it looks like he's recapturing his best form now; call to repeat. (7) TRIX AND STONES fell a whisker short with his late rally last week and he is sharp and dangerous now; using. (1) DONATOVER tried to leave and he jumped it off on the first turn last time. If he behaves he should be closing late tonight; using underneath. (4) VILLEFRANCHE AS took a while to find her best stride last week but she did get the job done. She can take a share here.

Race 8: NW $16,000 L5 or $32,100 L10 AE: OPT CLAIMING $45,000 AE: 4YO Pick 4

(2) SUNDOWN KID remarkably paced a 25 4/5 kicker over a track rated one second slow in late February two starts back, but he couldn't last the mile on the front end in his most recent start. If he finds a helmet to follow here, he should be tough. (3) EASY LOVER HANOVER was an easy winner last time he raced this low and he's hard to toss at this level; using. (7) BEYOND BETTER is razor-sharp and while he faces better he isn't without a chance and his price should be good here. He is another option in a good race. (1) HIGHLANDBEACHLOVER was game in defeat to a stablemate last time but this is a tough spot and he seems best used underneath.

Race 9: PREFERRED HANDICAP

(8) SINTRA raced well last week but may have need that start. He should be sharper this week and he gets the call to turn the tables on the hot (7) WHEELS ON FIRE who is sure to be gunning for the front again this week in a bid for a fourpeat. (4) LEGION SEELSTER was right there all the way last time and there is reason to expect that he will be better in this third start back; using underneath. (6) ROCKME ROLLME was third to the two choices last week and he should be in the exotics mix again.

Race 10: NW $11,500 L5 or $22,000 L10 AE: OPT CLAIMING $30,000

(6) FAST N FIRST got in major traffic trouble from the 3/4 pole all the way to the wire last week in an effort that was much better than it looks on paper and he gets the nod here making his second start back after missing all of 2020. (9) EVENWOOD SONOFAGUN drops again and he'll lead all the way one of these times; maybe tonight? (5) TRACEUR HANOVER is usually situated in a good spot and I can see him taking a following trip tonight and staying for a share. (1) ROCKIN N TALKIN was sharp in his qualifier on 3/8 and he can pass a few of these late to land in the Super.

Race 11: NW $8,000 or $16,000 L10

(2) OUTLAW ACEOFSPADES looked home last week then got picked off right on the line by a classy rival. He should be the one to catch again here. (5) IDEAL PERCEPTION was right there with the choice on the wire and driver Young has been going well here so far this year. He should have a decent chance tonight. (10) CHEDDAR BAY was first up in the same race and he was also right there. He could do here if he finds a live helmet to follow. (6) SWEET DEISEL has a better chance to show what he can do getting out of the second tier tonight; upset chance. (4) HOMEY JOE can pass a few of these late and take a share.
