(9) HUNTER HILL raced tough twice in a row and was unlucky to not win one of them. He should be tough in here. (4) PAT MCGARRY A flashed his usual speed and faded a bit in the lane, finishing 2 1/2 lengths behind the choice. He can be a front-end threat here. (5) CASEYS DRAGON finished well to split the top two choices and he should close late for another share tonight. (1) GREAT SOMEWHERE has been facing tougher recently. He could wake up here and pop at a price; longshot look.

Race 2: CLM HDCP $22,000 to $30,000

(1) HERESTHATMANAGAIN raced well last week but a mid-race speed duel in front of him set things up for the rival that ended up chasing him down. I'll give him the nod tonight. (5) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ woke up with the barn change and got a decelerating late pace which added up to a 26 to 1 upset. He typically strings many good races together when he is good; using. (9) GOLDINTHEBADLANDS makes his second start for a hot trainer and he has upset potential in this spot. (3) SEA LAIRD is sharp and he also moves into a hot barn. He is another possibility is a race that has several options.

Race 3: 5YO and Younger NW4 or $66,500 LT AE: 4YO to be claimed for $40,000

(5) SOUTHBEACH HANOVER was on a roll before he ran into buzzsaw Linedrive Hanover. That rival isn't in this race and this gelding gets top call tonight. (1) JOELSYY HANOVER was patiently driven last week and he was tons the best in the lane. He can be a threat despite facing tougher here. (3) SAULSBROOK VICTOR was game in defeat despite racing first up a long way. He is another in with a shot here. (7) BOLT POWER tripped out and rolled by late. This is a tougher assignment and I'll use him underneath.

Race 4: NW $8,000 L5 or $17,000 L10 - Pick 4

(5) SWEET DEISEL drops again, draws much better and picks up McNair. He should wake up in this spot. (1) LETS GET PICKLED adds Lasix and that could lead to sharp improvement here; using. (9) GRAND POOBAH raced better last week and he is worth a price look for the exotics. (8) RESPECT OUR FLAG can pass a few of these late and he is another price horse that might sneak into the bottom of the exotics.

Race 5: NW $11,500 L5 or $23,000 L10

(9) NO PLAN INTENDED drops to a level where he should be blasting looking for the front or the pocket early and he is the one to beat here. (6) UNDRTHSOUTHRNSUN N raced tough against Linedrive Hanover who has met no rival that could warm him up since he returned to racing. He should be the main threat. (8) PRICELESS BEACH got stung for too long early in the mile last week and it took its toll. His price will be much better tonight of you still like him. (2) HIGHLANBEACHLOVER steps up off a game win and I see him landing in the Super.

Race 6: NW $30,000 LT AE: 4YO to be claimed for $40,000 - Pick 5

(9) SPORT SECRET made a nice third 1/4 move to get to the front then he was picked off in the land by a rival that enjoyed a perfect covered trip. He should offer a good price here starting from the widest post and he gets the nod. (6) ITS IN THE STARS didn't fool around last time and he paced to a predictable easy NW2 win. This is tougher but he has shown the potential to be competitive vs, these; using. (5) SOMEWHERENTUSCANY qualified quickly for his return and I can see him being in the exotics mix tonight. (7) DR JOE is worth a look for the Tri and Super on the class drop.

Race 7: Popup Starters NW $33,500 in 2021-22 - Pick 4

(5) GOOD AND SWEET has been racing well in the Popup series and this race looks like it will set up for his late kick; slight nod. (8) REAGAN BLUE CHIP races better when he makes front and he should get more aggressive in this spot; using. (4) LITTLE MANNY is another that was first up last week that can improve if he gets a better trip tonight and he is another multi-race option. (10) AIR STRIKE is another that is capable with a different trip and his price will be much better tonight. This looks like a spread race to me.

Race 8: NW $22,000 L5 or $32,000 L10 or NW $140,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $65,000

(3) PATRIKTHEPIRANHA A raced okay in the top class in his local debut now he gets to drop in class. He should be tough here. (2) BETTORBUCKLEUP's 2022 debut in a fast race was decent and he can be a threat here; using. (5) SOMETIME SOMEWHERE also exits that fast race where he closed well and he can pass some of these late to take another share. (6) REAL WILLEY fired off the gate quickly then backed up late. I can see him sitting and rallying this time.

Race 9: PREFERRED

(1) JIMMY FREIGHT has looked closer to his four-year-old self the past two weeks and he gets the nod to notch a threepeat here. (2) BEYOND BETTER was going to finish a close 2nd to the choice last week until he broke a couple of strides before they reached the wire. He can be a threat here. (3) UHTRED races tough every week and he is an exotics player again. (4) WHEELS ON FIRE had no apparent excuse last week. I am inclined to keep betting against him.

Race 10: Popup Starters NW $72,000 in 2021-22

This is a great betting race with several viable options. I'll side with (6) INTRIGUED AGAIN who raced tough in defeat last week and is due for some better luck. (4) DAY DELIGHT tripped out and capitalized but I won't hold that against him. He is sharp and dangerous. (3) THRILLING TIMES is right there every week at this level and he is hard to leave off late multi-race tickets. (7) JKNR LIKETELL is another that is sharp and dangerous that can repeat with the right trip. (2) NO BETTOR JOY is worth using at a price in the exotics with his good late kick.
