(6) JUMPSHOT had a tightener vs. better where he had no chance to close after tracking a slow opening 1/2. He should improve here and getting the best post I'll give him the nod. All (4) MISTER MAGIC does is win and he came back breathing fire for new connections last week. He has such a nose for the wire that he is hard to leave out when he is in form. (10) IM THE MUSCLE also came back strong, dominating some overmatched rivals. He is in with a shot here despite stepping up in class. (3) VILLEFRANCHE AS is another class dropper who should improve tonight but I prefer to use her underneath.

Race 2: NW $16,000 (F&M $31,250) L5 or $26,000 L10 or NW $120,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $45,000
(1) EVENWOOD SONOFAGUN provided perfect cover for a longshot winner last weekend in a race that he should benefit from and I see him making an early move to the front vs. these and he gets top call. (3) TRACEUR HANOVER steps up off a predictable win and he has the gate speed to get position early and work out a good trip; using. (6) ROCKME ROLLME was racing well at a similar class level when racing stopped and I expect him to be passing some of these late to land in the Super or Tri. (5) OUTLAW ACEOFSPADES is capable of better than he showed in his comeback race and he is another to consider for the exotics this week.
Race 3: NW 5 or $80,000 life
(5) CAPTAIN VIDEO returned razor-sharp and produced a big first-over effort to win last week. He's the one to beat here as he looks to stay sharp for the yet unraced Valedictory series final. (1) BEYOND BETTER looks ready after firing what is the equivalent of a 1:51 4/5 qualifying mile over a track rated three seconds slow. (6) TALBOT ROMEO has the speed to go with the two choices and he may roll by late if there is a pace battle. (10) BEE TWO BEE was closing at the choice at the wire in a good effort.
Race 4: NW $12,500 L5 or $22,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $30,000 - Pick 4
(6) TORRIN HANOVER had a start back one class higher now he draws the best post facing easier. Does he get more aggressive here? I say yes and give him the nod. (2) PRO BEACH finished ahead of the choice in that race and he is another that figures to improve with the slight class relief; using. (1) AINTNONEBETTOR A fired a quick last 1/4 in his first race back and he is clearly sharp. Moving up one level he could provide some multi-race ticket value tonight. (4) ROYAL RENEGADE should be passing some horses in the back 1/2 but he is often coming too late; using underneath.
Race 5: F&M NW $22,000 L5 or $31,500 L10 or NW $110,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $40K
(4) HELLO LOVE was getting to the leader late last week and perhaps she can turn the tables this week if she can get rolling a bit earlier. (6) KENDALL SEELSTER is another that just missed who should be right there vs. these some of whom are stepping up in class. (5) SWEET HEAVEN made a move to the front following a very slow opening 1/4 and she had enough in the tank to fend off the choice late. She is an obvious contender but I am inclined to try to beat her because she seems to get overbet in every start. (10) IVANA FLYBYE N is capable vs. these types but I don't love the second tier post for her. I'll use her on the bottom.
Race 6: NW $3,000 L5 or $9,400 L10 - Pick 5
(3) EXPLOSIVE JET was a good second to a sharp rival in her return race and she looks best in here; top call. (6) NORTHERN ROYALE faces considerably easier in this spot and notice she was third to much better two starts back. She is a must-use for me. (8) GLOIRE DREAM is always in the mix for a share and from an outer post he could boost exotics prices here. (2) SONOFAMILLIONAIRE is another who is likely to take a smaller share in this spot, perhaps rounding out the Tri or Super.
Race 7: 5YO and Younger NW3 or $54,000 LT AE: NW4 who are NW1 L10 - Pick 4
(4) MR KELLY was going well when racing stopped and I like his recent qualifier over a track rated 3 seconds slow. These are within his scope if he gets put into the race early enough. (6) COLD CREEK CABO was right there with some good ones in his first start back and he figures to be prominent throughout tonight. He's on my late multi-race tickets. (1) BIG BULLY is capable of a big rally but with being that he is 1 for 27 in the past two seasons he is hard to love on top; using underneath. (7) BIG SIR had a strong record last year. I can see him making it into the Tri or Super at a price tonight.
Race 8: NW $30,000 L5 or $175,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $80,000 AE: MARES
(6) SO MUCH MORE was digging late but the leader had too much of a soft early pace last week. The early pace scenario seems to favor her this time and she gets the nod. (7) LEGION SEELSTER was on fire when last seen here in the summer of last year. Trainer Moreau has come back with his barn firing on all cylinders. Give this one a look. (8) WHEELS ON FIRE was unstressed on the lead throughout last week and he had enough to hold off the choice. I'm inclined to bet against him here thinking his trip will be much tougher. (4) POINTS NORTH couldn’t seal the deal last week and a big bomb nailed him on the wire. He figures to contend for a share tonight.
Race 9: NW $3,750 L5 or $7,000 L10
Tough race here: (1) NIGHT WATCHMAN is capable vs. these, the barn is hot, his price should be good and Jamieson may get him involved early; call to upset. (5) IDEAL PERCEPTION was facing tougher last year and the barn is likely to have him ready. He is probably the one to beat. (7) NOTAWORD N exits a tough race in New Jersey and it wouldn't be a surprise if he moved up vs. these. (6) DOWN ON MY LUCK rallied well here last week and he is in with a shot if he gets the right trip.
Race 10: NW $8,400 L5 or $16,000 L10
(2) JKNR LIKETELL tried it first up against Traceur Hanover last week which was mission impossible. He fits better here and he should improve; top call. (9) AMERICAN WIGGLE steps up and draws wide, but he has already raced twice and is razor-sharp. He could repeat at a price, (5) SIR PUGSLEY should benefit from racing in Ohio during the Ontario shutdown and he isn't out of place vs. these; using. (10) DENALI SEELSTER is another who fits well that should be in the exotics mix. (7) AREUKIDINMECABIE should be able to pass a few of these and work his way into the High-5.
