(9) SOUTHWIND PATRON showed some late zip in his debut. Speed blast coming from J Mac now? (3) DELIGHTFUL FEELING was put into a race for the first time last week and he converted at big odds. Driver Jones continues to impress, and this gelding has a good chance to repeat here. (10) SAVOIR DUHARAS paced a 27-flat kicker after missing three weeks now he returns in seven days; price look. (4) BABYS BEACH BUM took a ton of action last week and he raced okay first-over. I prefer to use hum underneath tonight.

Race 2: NW $8,000 L5 AE: Starters for $13K or less last start or NW $90,000 LT or OPT CLM $45,000

(6) DONTPOKETHEDRAGON takes a huge drop here and he draws best. He is hard to go past. (9) LEGION SEELSTER is the other dropper, and he is the logical alternative to the choice. (7) I AMA ROCKET took a new life's mark, but he got claimed from Barrington. He may find the top two choices too tough. (2) BEYOND BETTER couldn’t convert as the 1 to 9 chalk last week. He probably closes for a slice tonight.

Race 3: NW $24,500 L5 or $41,850 L10 AE: OPT CLM $80,000

(4) AMERICAN HISTORY had a good trip last week, but he couldn't go with the big dogs in the lane. Dropping down gives him a better chance; top call. (6) UHTRED was only a couple of lengths behind the choice in a needed start after being off close to 11 months. He can improve sharply here. (7) HESINCONTROL couldn't be any sharper and he will offer a good price facing the droppers. He is worth a price look. (3) POINTS NORTH will likely look for a trip tonight after going from 1st to 7th in the lane last week; small share predicted.

Race 4: 5YO and Younger NW1 or $7,500 LT - Pick 4

(1) WRY raced well in all three starts so far this year and he will get there soon, maybe tonight. (2) DELIGHTFUL KISS flew late and just missed and he will probably be the one to fend off late here. (10) EVERYONES HERO looked good beating the choice, the question now is: what price will you accept from post 10? (5) GREYSTONE ADRIAN has licence to improve in this second start and he could better this placing if he gets put into the race earlier.

Race 5: 5YO and Younger NW $15,000 LT

(2) BETTER SUNSET was the first leader last week then due to several lead changes he ended up buried and 2nd last by the time the reached the 1/8th pole. He finished with pace when he finally shook free and he gets top billing tonight. (4) BARRETT HANOVER is in easier, and he should be the main threat if he stays flat tonight. (1) THE WILL TO PLAY dead-heated with the choice last week and he can take a share here. (9) PROFUNDO is in good form, but this is only his third race in close to three months. I'll use him on the bottom considering those gaps and him drawing widest.

Race 6: 5YO and Younger NW2 or $30,000 LT AE: 3YO 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $35,000 - Pick 5

(5) HP MOMENTUM is a fresh Barrington claim which is basically an automatic play currently. (8) PARTYINTHESHADOWS raced well off the Bourassa claim and he should be the main threat here making his second start racing out of that barn. (1) FLIGHT ONEFORTYSIX will probably appear on the scene late again to take a share. (4) NIGHT SHADOW drops back down tonight and he is hard to leave out of the exotics in this spot.

Race 7: NW $8,000 L5 or $90,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $45,000 or starters for $13K or less last start

(7) TORONTO ships in for Team Hensley who took ownership of the gelding on February 13th. He is obviously fast enough for these, and he adds Lasix. The only question mark is the three weeks off. (9) GOING FAST is in terrific form and flies home every week. He needs a setup from out there, but he is sharp and dangerous. (3) CHEDDAR BAY has been lights out racing in London's top class for several weeks and he should be in the exotics mix here. (2) ITS IN THE STARS can close late to take a small share vs. these.

Race 8: 5YO and Younger winners of 2 but not more than 5 or $45,000 LT AE: 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $50,000

(9) JIMMYACHANCE gets Henry in the bike tonight which can be a tell that a big speed try is coming tonight; top call. (3) HUNTED HOUSE raced okay last week but he was too far back. I expect him to lay closer tonight and he is in with a decent chance. (5) JACK PANIC motored late last week in a good effort, and he fits well here. He is another in with a chance. (2) FULL DISCLOSURE figures to sit near the front and take another slice.

Race 9: FREE FOR ALL - Pick 4

(6) WHEELS ON FIRE produced a big uncovered effort to beat these last week and he gets the call to repeat. (8) SANDBETWEENMYTOES is another coming off a sharp first up win and he seems to fit okay with these shipping in from the Meadows; using. (5) SO MUCH MORE can never be discounted in any race due to her consistency and toughness and her price will likely be good tonight. (3) ARIO HANOVER has been terrific in both starts since being bought privately and shipped north. These are tougher, but he isn't without a chance.

Race 10: NW $14,500 L5 or $115,000 LT

(3) BAYFIELD BEACH steps up but he is razor-sharp and the one to beat as he seeks a repeat. (1) CADILLAC BAYAMA drops, and he has a good chance to take his first win of 2023 tonight; using. (9) PIPEWRENCH CHARLIE improved last week, and we know he is capable of pacing a sub-1:51 mile on his best day; price look. (2) SHADOW IN RED should sit another good trip racing close to the lead and stick around for another share.

Race 11: 5YO and Younger NW2 or $30,000 LT AE: 3YO 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $35,000

(4) TUF COOPER fits this class like a glove, and he comes off a game win at this level. He has a nose for the wire, and he gets the nod to repeat. (3) JJ XAVIER comes off a lame scratch, but he took all the action when he dropped to this level and won on 2/11. The addition of Macdonald won't hurt tonight; using. (1) TANGO SEELSTER comes off a nice effort where he showed speed both early and late in the mile. He is in with a shot vs. these. (2) WILLIAM HANOVER is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics adding Lasix tonight.

Race 12: NW $4,000 L5 AE: NW $5,000 in 2023

(3) ISLANDSPECIALMAJOR drops several levels here and he should handle these as a big chalk. (1) G A SPEED SAMMY was good last week, rallying after getting shuffled and he got up to nail the leading 1 to 9 favorite. Does he play giant killer again? (7) DEVILS PEAK is in terrific form for the Waxman barn, and he should rally for another good share here. (2) OUTLAW ACEOFSPADES should be good for a slice at this level. (8) WOODMERE FENN cruised vs. easier last week but this is a much tougher spot; small share predicted.
