Race 1: 5YO and younger NW2 or $30,000 LT **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
(2) FOUT just beat non-winners of four at Flamboro and Macdonald sides with him over the morning-line favorite. I’ll give him a slight nod in a field with several possibilities to kick off the early Pick 5. (3) KYLES ART loses Macdonald, but he probably won’t lose interest picking up McNair. He is sharp and dangerous. (10) DON’T FREAK OUT has been impressive in all three starts as a sophomore and he is clearly much improved. He is worth using at what should be good price. (7) CALL ME IT raced okay in the Snowshoe series and he is another that could pop here with the right trip.

Race 2: Winners of 4 but not more than 6 or $80,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $60,000
(4) HUNGRY MAN kind of sticks out here with two sub-1:51 miles in his last two starts and he is sure to get an aggressive McNair steer. He will be a Pick 5 single for me. (7) LARCENY was resilient and resurgent grinding to a first up win last week and he should contend for a good share here right back. Sharp (2) WOODMERE FENN produced a nice late kick to get up for 3rd last week. He is a good one to use underneath. (8) LETS GO JUDE rarely misses the board and he will likely get put into action leaving the gate. He should be in the exotics mix.

Race 3: NW $25,000 L5
(4) COLD CREEK QUESO crushed in 1:50 2/5 last time he dropped from the Preferred and he is the one to beat here. (6) WHICHWAYTOTHEBEACH steps up here, but he comes off a strong first-over win in fast time and he wouldn’t be a surprise if he repeated. (8) ROCKABILLY REBEL N is another dropper that should improve but I prefer to use him underneath here. (3) SAULSBROOK VICTOR should sit a trip and take another share in this spot.
Race 4: 4YO and younger NW $16,500 LT AE: NW $960 L5 - Pick 4
(1) BRIGUS lost ground out wide while the winner was saving ground and he still almost won last week. I see him getting the trip and the win this time. (8) TRICKY MCWICKY produces a good effort every week but the style he has typically deployed to date can make him a victim to trip and/or pace. He is one of the ones in here. (10) CHEDDAR DUHARAS will need some luck, but he is sharp, and he could add some value to the multis if things fall his way. (7) WOODMERE XSPEEDIA brings some solid form with him from the Maritimes, and he is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics here.
Race 5: CLM HDCP $30,000 to $40,000
(9) ST LADS BEAT IT gets away from currently unbeatable Dontpokethedragon and he is the one to beat here after battling that rival and finishing 2nd to him several times. (7) ORDER ONE TO GO has been sharp for weeks but has a similar profile as the choice. He is capable here with the right trip; using. (10) I AMA ROCKET drops and gets Filion, but he also draws widest. Both of the top two choices are razor sharp and this is no easy spot. From post 10, I’ll use this gelding underneath. (4) MACH IMPACT was a victim of trip and pace last time. He can take a share here.
Race 6: Horses that have started for a purse of $15,000 or less in 1 of L3 - Pick 5
(2) NAZARE failed to convert as the 1 to 5 chalk last week, but the winner was simply too good. He loses Macdonald to (4) SERIOUSLY HANOVER tonight which should make him a playable price. The latter looked good winning last week, and his sub-27 kickers will probably get him bet down to favoritism here. He is the one to hold off late. (8) FOREFATHER woke up and rolled up late for a win last week, but this is a tougher spot and I’ll use him underneath. (9) TORONTO never gets bet but he often lands in the bottom of the exotics. He can close late for a small slice.
Race 7: NW $8,000 L5 AE: OPT CLM $50,000
(3) REACTOR NOW A gets class and post relief here and last time he raced this low on 12/16/23 he jogged in a lifetime best 1:50 2/5. He will be a single for me. (1) DONTTOUCHMYTRUCK is the other dropper in the race, and he can be an Exacta factor this week. (7) JACK PANIC comes off a strong effort where he did a lot of work on the rim and got picked off late by a fresh rival. He is in the exotics mix here. (5) BACKSTREET GAMBLER adds Lasix and gets Roy in the bike. He can take a share in this spot.
Race 8: 5YO and younger winners of 2 but not more than 4 or $45,000 LT - Pick 4
(3) SERIOUS MOJO moves to the leading trainer and driver racing off the claim here and sharp improvement is likely; top call. (1) HIGH VOLTAGE DEO was close at this level four starts back before trying his luck in the Snowshoe series. He should be a threat tonight. (2) BETTER B SIRIUS comes off a decent effort at this level. He is capable here with the right trip; using. (8) BETS SHOW OFF re-rallied last week after taking a shuffle and he is another possibility in a race that I could see any of five of them winning.
Race 9: PREFERRED
(6) SOARING NOW clearly needed last week’s start after missing five weeks. The replay shows that he was airborne late and passed them all after the wire by the time they reached the turn. He catches streaking (4) TAURASI having missed three weeks and I’ll give the former a slight nod. The latter has been lights out and he is strictly the one to beat here despite the stale date. (1) POSEIDON SEELSTER is in solid form, but he is probably third best here; using underneath. (2) LIVINTHEBEACHLIFE will likely take another following trip and a small slice.

Race 10: NW $15,000 L5 AE: NW $115,000 LT
(5) SOMEWHERENTUSCANY was a good 2nd at this level last week and he will likely get a more aggressive steer here; top call. (3) DUPREE HANOVER steps up tonight but his 1:51 2/5 win last week stacks up well vs. these; using. (1) CENTURY HEINEKEN is morning line favorite but holds no advantage on paper. He is one I will play against on multi-race tickets. (4) H P MOMENTUM adds Lasix, and he should be in the exotics mix tonight.
Race 11: NW $1,700 L3 AE: N/A $1,025 per start in 2023
(3) LEGION SEELSTER drops to a level where he should dominate, and Roy is sure to try to control the race from the outset. He should be very tough to beat at this level. (2) ACTOR HANOVER is another dropper that should get put into this race at the start; Exacta factor. (4) THATLL BE TIGER comes off a good effort and he can close for another share here. (9) STONE CARVER gets Macdonald, and he should be good for a share in this spot. (7) TAYLORS CREDIT is usually passing rivals late. He is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics at a price.
