Race 1: F&M NW $14,000 L5 or $160,000 LT AE: NW $26,000 L5 **Gtd. $100,000 Pick 5**
(5) STYLE FOR A MILE has been sharp for several weeks but just in too tough racing in the top class. She still took a check in every one of those miles now she drops back down to where she last won. She should be tough in here. (6) SHES GOT IT ALL has a similar profile, last winning in this NW $14,000 L5 then racing against the best mares for several weeks. She is the other one that I’ll use in the early Pick 5. (7) SETTN A PRECEDENT is sharp, coming off two narrow defeats at this level and Macdonald chose her over two others. I prefer to use her underneath here facing the two droppers. (3) POWDER PLAY got an impossible parked out trip last time. Moving inside she can get a much better trip and take a share.

Race 2: Winners of 4 but not more than 6 or $80,500 LT AE: CLM $60,000
Macdonald qualified (8) IKES DREAM and he sides with him coming off a rest over two others in here that come off wins in their last starts; top call. (4) LARCENY easily paced past his rivals from third-over in a good effort last week and he is sharp and dangerous; using. (6) LETS GO JUDE raced well vs. a tough rival in the Snowshoe series and he should be good for a share here. (2) ONTOP RAINMAN raced well last week but Larceny was on his back riding his cover the whole way looking to pounce. He can sit a trip and take a share here.

Race 3: 4YO and younger NW $15,000 LT
(5) KYLES ART was no match for sharp Dont Freak Out last time, but this is an easier spot, and he gets top billing here. (7) TRICKY MCWICKY outpaced the choice late and got up for 2nd. He will be coming late again, and he is the one to fear. (2) LOGAN BEHOLD knows how to get to the winner’s circle, but I prefer to use him underneath tonight stepping up to face the two choices. (9) STARS TREASURE gets first time McNair tonight and that makes him worth a look at a price.
Race 4: NW $16,000 L5 or $30,000 L10 AE: NW $105,000 LT - Pick 4
(5) SAULSBROOK VICTOR is one of two droppers from the Preferred 2 here and he outdrew his main rival. I liked the aggressive way he was driven last week, and I could see him leading all the way here. (10) REACTOR NOW A blew up the board but was rightfully set back for interfering with a rival in the stretch. He is in with a good shot at this level despite drawing widest. (6) SOMEWHERENTUSCANY draws best again coming off a win and J Mac will likely find him another good trip. He is another in with a chance. (2) BRROKDALE MIKI is sharp, and he races off the Zeron claim tonight. I think he gets a share.
Race 5: 5YO and younger Winners of 2 but not more than 4 or $45,000 LT
(8) NIGHTIME DANCER moves in two posts which should be enough for Filion to put him into the race this week. I’ll give him top billing expecting an aggressive steer at a square price. (4) COME ON ARTIE has been firing home quickly and he fits well here. It would be no surprise to see him roll past the leaders late. (2) CABOT BEACH gets Macdonald for a return drive after closing from far back in the Snowshoe series final. He is another that merits a look for multi-race tickets. (5) KAPTAIN KARLOS will likely be raced aggressively again and take another share.
Race 6: NW $4,350 L5 or $12,200 LT - Pick 5
This is the lowest level for (4) ILIKEMEBETTOR A since arriving in North America from Australia in the fall of 22. I think McNair sends him right down the road tonight. (1) STONE CARVER is another dropper that should improve here, and Drury will likely find him a spot racing near the front at the start; using. (9) ACAPULCO SUNBURN is another that should improve at this level, and he is in the exotics mix, likely racing close to the front throughout. (2) CAPITANO ITALIANO will probably sit then close late for a share.
Race 7: Horses that have stated for a purse of $15K or less in 1 of L3
(6) NAZARE just jogged from the 10-hole now he draws best. This is a tougher field, but he has a good chance to repeat. (1) MR IBIZA N dropped and popped as the even money choice in a good effort, and he will likely be the one to fend off late here; using. (5) ARMOR SEELSTER should find this spot a bit easier, and I could see Jamieson tripping him out racing near the front; using. (7) BEACHIN LINDY can pass some of these in the back 1/2 and close for a share in this spot.
Race 8: CLM HDCP $30,000 to $40,000 - Pick 4
(4) DONTPOKETHEDRAGON shoots for an eighth straight win and not even heavy pressure could get him beat last week. (5) ORDER ONE TO GO couldn’t be any sharper, but he has the misfortune of facing the choice again. I think he can win here if he trips out and saves some ground and I’ll use him on multi-race tickets. (6) ST LADS BEAT IT put heavy pressure on the choice last week and made him work for it. He is in the exotics mix again. (1) HEAD HONCHO, 4th to the choice last time, can sit a trip and take another share here.
Race 9: PREFERRED 2
Good betting race here with a few options. I’ll try with (1) LIVINTHEBEACHLIFE who has been very sharp for a few weeks and could get the best trip here. (7) SOARING NOW is likely the best one in here and he gets the leading driver, but he has missed more than a month and I wonder if he will be a bit short this week. I wouldn’t take a short price here. (8) POWERTRAIN was used up early from the widest post as the chalk last week. He can get a much better outcome if he can find the pocket like he did two starts back when he won in 1:50 2/5. (6) CODENAME CIGAR BOX has finished 2nd at this level in two of his past three starts and he is in the exotics mix here.

Race 10: 5YO and younger NW2 or $32,000 LT
(8) ALL BETS ON TEX did well in the Snowshoe series considering the posts and trips that he got. There is no Speaker Of Peace in this field and I can see 'Tex' leading all the way here. (4) ID IMAGINE is capable of better than he showed in his last two starts and this is a better spot for him. He’s worth using at a price tonight. (7) MIKRON typically races well when Borth drives and that pilot returns to the bike tonight. He should be part of the exotics in this spot. (5) BACK TO THE FUTURE is another that exits the Snowshoe series that should improve enough to take a slice.
Race 11: NW $8,350 L5 or $17,325 L10 AE: OPT CLM $50,000
(3) AMERICAN HISTORY was perhaps too sharp for his 2024 debut, and he went too fast early in the mile. Now that he got the carbon out of his engine, he might be more rateable this week. He gets the nod on the class drop. (5) BETTER TAKE IT moves to Auciello shipping north and he gets the leading driver. His 1:48 3/5 mark taken at the Meadowlands last year shows he has the speed to go with these; using. (10) THE GREEK FREAK draws widest and loses Macdonald to the #5 horse. A small share is likely for him tonight. (6) TWIN B POWERBALL is sharp, and he can take another share here starting from the best post. (1) JACK PANIC is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics adding Lasix tonight.
