(6) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ had no shot last week trying to advance first up in a race where the opening 29-flat 1/4 was followed by a final 3/4 paced in 1:25 3/5 over a track rated one second slow. He goes for Auciello racing off the claim here and he should get a more honest pace to chase; top call. (8) MACH IMPACT is the one that enjoyed that soft trip on the engine but he should be the one to catch again tonight; using. (7) GOLDINTHEBADLANDS, stablemate to the choice, is right there every week and he should be an exotics factor again here. (5) ROYAL RENEGADE typically lands on the edges. He is a good one to use on the bottom of the exotics.

Race 2: PREFERRED

(2) WHEELS ON FIRE is always the one to beat at this level it seems and he usually makes his own luck by controlling things on the front end; top call. I thought (4) JIMMY FREIGHT looked good last week, closing in an impossible spot where the leader was winning his sixth straight and pacing home in 27 2/5 after getting a huge breather. He might be up to the step back up to the top level; using. (3) SO MUCH MORE is remarkably consistent and she is unfazed racing against the boys every week. It's impossible to leave her off Tri bets. (1) UHTRED should be an exotics player leaving from the rail.

Race 3: NW3 (F&M5) or $40,000 (F&M $50,000) LT AE: NW $4,100 L5

(1) L DEES PATRICK bottomed out the field twice straight. That strategy won't work forever, but facing many of the same rivals, he should be good for another. (4) COLD RAGE was moving well at the wire but he was way too late. He could upset here if he lays closer early in the mile; using. (3) PRINCESSPARTYPANTS was 2nd to the choice last week and she should be good for another share tonight. (2) HONE THE TONE was a false favorite last week when facing the choice. He can take a share here if he stays flat.

Race 4: 5YO and Younger NW3 or $31,500 LT AE: 4YO to be claimed for $25,000 - Pick 4

(2) THE AMAZINGSANDO was good racing off the layoff but unlucky to get outsprinted by a horse that was perfectly driven and tripped out. I'll give him the call to turn the tables tonight. (5) RICOTTABEKIDDINME has a similar profile in that it looked like he made a winning move only to be nailed in the final stride. He should be right there tonight. (7) PETER POOLE is in easier tonight. He should last for a share vs. this group. (1) SAULSBROOK GENESIS got a bit of a lucky trip to win last week. I'll use him underneath tonight.

Race 5: NW $8,300 L5 or $20,000 L10

(6) FABRIZIO N was one of several leaders in a race where the front end looked like a merry-go-round, there were that many lead changes. He can get a better pace trip here and I'll give him the nod. (2) HIGHLANDBEACHLOVER dropped and popped and he could be tough right back off that sharp mile; using. (1) TRAFALGAR is going to take a lot of action on the class drop, but is it really that big when she goes from facing her own gender to racing against a full field of salty conditioned males? I don't see her as a lock in this spot. (7) NICKLE BAG can close from the back for another small share here.

Race 6: Horses who started in a Popup Event that are NW $57,000 in 2021-2022 - Pick 5

(7) NIGHT WATCHMAN paced the fastest mile on a 1/2-mile track in Canada on 1/19 in London and he should be a big speed threat here; top call. (5) CAPITANO ITALIANO has raced well with Macdonald in the bike and he should be the main danger racing from close range tonight. (2) AREUKIDINME CABBIE has been right there every week since late December and his good tactical speed makes him a threat; using. (1) THRILLING TIMES almost pulled off a big upset last week. He should be in the exotics mix again.

Race 7: NW $11,000 L5 or $22,000 L10 or NW $105,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $40,000

(1) MUSTANG BEACH comes off a big trip where he left to the front then took a shuffle, got backed up on the turn, then re-rallied well. He is a clear top choice for me here. (8) BEYOND BETTER takes a multi-level class drop and attracts Macdonald to drive. He is an obvious contender but he could be overbet. (3) CHIEFS BEACH shaded the choice on the wire in a good effort and that was after missing a week. He figures next best in here. (6) RAYS KREDIT is another dropper that figures to be part of the exotics tonight.

Race 8: NW $6,000 L5 or NW $14,700 L10 AE: Popup Starters - Pick 4

(5) TEDDYS LITTLEANGEL almost won last week despite having missed three weeks and making only her second start in close to two months. Returning much quicker now, she gets top call despite moving up a level. (8) AUSSIE LOVER never gets bet but he frequently produces big efforts. I'll use him on multi-race tickets tonight. (6) HARRY chased down the choice late in a good effort and he is in the exotics mix again tonight. (7) GOALTENDER has been sharp for several weeks. I see him rallying late for a share here.

Race 9: NW $16,000 L5 or $26,000 L9 or NW $120,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $50,000 AE: Mares

(7) POINTS NORTH raced first up against the hottest horse on the grounds who stole a slow opening 1/2 last week and that was mission impossible. He should be tough on the class drop here. (3) UNDRTHESTHRNSUN N is another dropper who figures to get a good trip racing near the front and he is the other one that I'll use on late multi-race tickets. (8) COLD CREEK CABO finished ahead of the choice last week but he got a better trip. He is another in with a chance here; using. (6) SWEET DEISEL will likely rally for a share tonight.

Race 10: NW4 or $57,000 LT

This is a better spot for (6) LONG WEEKEND A and he gets a driver change to Macdonald. He should be tough vs. these. (3) ROCK N ZEUS has been right there in both starts where he had Roy in the bike and that teamster returns here; using. (4) KISSINBYTHEBEACHES prevailed vs. easier last week after getting a slow opening 1/2. I don’t see him getting that same trip tonight; using underneath. (5) HESINCONTROL should be passing some rivals late again tonight to take a small share.

Race 11: NW $5,100 L5 or $10,750 L10

(8) SPEEDY DOMINIC A drops again after failing to get the job done as the chalk. He should have a good chance to go right down the road vs. these. (9) MAJOR HILL won twice in four days vs. lesser but he is sharp and dangerous and he could provide some multi-race value; using. (1) CAPTAINOFROCKNROLL goes for Auciello after getting a brutal trip at Flamboro last time and he isn't without a chance vs. these. (5) TRACEUR HANOVER should be good for another slice racing at this level. (7) RESPECT OUR FLAG I can see rallying from the back and sneaking into the Super or High-5.
