(4) ROTTEN RONNIE missed a month between starts and he still took a share in a fast race. Macdonald sticks with him and he fits well in this consolation race; top call. (3) SUN CHIP raced well last week and he lacked racing room for part of the stretch drive. He should be a contender here racing on or near the lead throughout. (8) MAGICAL ALBERT figures to blast for position and he should be in the exotics mix in this field. (7) GIDDY UP MAX can pass a few of these late. Give him a look for the bottom of the exotics.

Race 2: 5YO and Younger NW2 but not more than 4 or $45,000 AE: 3YO who are NW1 L10 AE: 3YO CLM $50,000

(1) ACAPULCO SUNBURN fits this class like a glove and he has a good chance at notching a threepeat here. (4) COLIGNY HANOVER raced well when 2nd to the choice and he figures to be the main threat here. (2) JABBERWOCKY followed the choice last week but he could get no closer than 1 1/4 lengths behind at the wire. I'll use him underneath tonight. (6) YOURTHEONE can close late to land in the bottom of the Tri or Super.

Race 3: NW $18,500 L5 or $28,000 L8 AE: Starters for a purse of $16K or less in 1 of L3 AE: OPT CLM $80,000

(1) DESPERATE MAN drops to face a field he should handle and he will be a single for me. (7) COMMANDING OFFICER is the other dropper in here and he is likely to be aggressive this time starting from the widest post; Exacta factor. (2) WOODMERE STEALDEAL is in the mix every week. He is a good one to use on the bottom of the Tri. (3) POINTS NORTH dropped and popped, now steps up to face droppers. A small slice is likely his ceiling tonight.

Race 4: NW $3,800 L5 or $8,000 L10 AE: Starters for a purse of $7,500 or less L3 AE: NW $40,000 in 2022 - Pick 4

(10) HESINCONTROL takes a big class drop here and he gets top billing despite drawing widest. (8) HIGHLANDBEACHLOVER went all in, pacing a 25 4/5 third 1/4 last week which isn't something you see every night at this track. More careful rating could result in a win tonight; using. (3) ILLGETMYOWN THANKS late kick plays better at this level and he could get a setup in this spot. He is another possibility for early multi-race tickets. (4) LETS GET PICKLED raced well chasing a strong pace last week. He can take another share here.

Race 5: NW $6,600 L5 or $15,000 L10 AE: Starters for a purse of $13,000 or less L2

(5) CHEDDAR BAY has been racing great in London and he could get overlooked a bit in this spot. I'll side with him hoping for a square price. (3) BEYOND BETTER gets to drop making his third start back and I think he gets an aggressive steer this time; using. (8) MAD MAN HILL ships north in good form and he is another in with a decent chance in a contentious dash. (7) JOELSYY HANOVER was 3rd to the choice last time in a good effort from a tough post. He isn't impossible in this spot.

Race 6: Popup Consolation NW $35,000 in 2022 - Pick 5

(8) NIGHT CLUB HANOVER set some swift early splits last week and hung on for a share. I could see him tripping out near the front tonight and sliding past late. I liked the way that (7) HES GOT SWAGGER closed last week and he could get a setup here; using. (1) HASHTAG MONEY finished 3rd in the fastest mile last week but he is still seeking his second win. I wouldn't take a short price here. (4) MISSION BAY is another closer that should pass a few rivals late to take a share.

Race 7: NW $12,000 L5 or $22,000 L8 or NW6 LT AE: OPT CLM $65,000 - Pick 4

(5) ROCKIN N TALKIN drops to a more likely spot, draws well, and should get an aggressive steer from Jones; top call. (8) ISLANDSPECIALMAJOR is the other dropper and he was good at this level two starts back. He can be right there tonight. (1) FABRIZIO N should get a better trip and more aggressive drive in this spot. He is another in with a shot. Sophomore (7) NAUTICAL HANOVER faces elders here and he appears fast enough for these, but he has missed more than a month and is best watched with an eye to next week.

Race 8: 4YO and Younger NW2 or $30,000 LT

(2) LAST BEACH raced okay last week considering he shipped and missed three weeks between starts. He fits well here and he should get more aggressive early tonight; top call. (5) LYONS PRIDE was hung the mile in the Harvest series final and just missed a check. His good late kick should play in this field. (6) DELICATE SOUND threw in a clunker in the Harvest series final. He is obviously capable of better and he should rebound with a better effort tonight. (7) CAMARA MOMENT has been off three weeks after missing the Harvest series final due to sickness and I'll play to beat him out of the Tri in this spot.

Race 9: PREFERRED 2

(2) SO MUCH MORE is razor-sharp and this isn't the toughest field of males that she faces tonight. I'll give her the nod. (4) CARBINE was beaten a nose on the wire in 1:49 1/5 last time he raced at this level. He will likely be the one to catch tonight. (1) CODENAME CIGAR BOX will likely sit a good trip and close late. He's another in with a shot in this compact field. (5) SINTRA faces tougher coming off a game win and he likely closes for a slice here.

Race 10: Popup Final NW $35,000 in 2022

This is a great betting race that looks like it will set up for a closer and I can see (1) LITTLE MANNY pouncing from midpack in the lane. (4) OUTLAW ACEOFSPADES is another that will likely take a stalking approach and come on late; using. (8) H P MOMENTUM did it the hard way when he blew up the tote board last week and he isn't out of this. (10) WILDRIVERBUMBLEBEE was most impressive last week but post 10 will likely be a difference maker tonight; using underneath. (6) ARTIES IDEAL is sharp and he should be part of the High-5.
