(1) BACKSTREET GAMBLER produced a nice late kick in his first start back and I'll side with him here in a spot where he should offer a decent price. (3) SPORTS FAN is on a roll and comes in off a huge win in fast time in London. He is an obvious threat. (8) BETTER SUNSET hasn't raced since the Popup final when beaten by (4) BRING YOUR FIRE. Either of these are capable here and worth a look in a race with several options.

Race 2: F&M NW $12,000 L5 or $22,000 L10 AE: Starters for a purse of $15K or less L4 AE: OPT CLM $60,000

(8) STYLE FOR A MILE is an interesting shipper moving into the hot Moreau barn and getting the top driver. She should get a good setup here with a one-dimensional front end type lined up on the inside and she gets the nod. (4) TWIN B BETTY has been sharp for several weeks and she is another that should benefit from the likely pace scenario; using. (5) MIA CULPA figures to rally late again to finish in the bottom of the Tri or Super. (2) KARMA SEELSTER disappointed at 2 to 5 then missed a week. I can only use her underneath at this point.

Race 3: FILLIES and MARES PREFERRED 2

(3) DABARNDAWGSWATCHIN is making hay in this class with So Much More forced to race males and she can score a threepeat here. (1) NEED TO BREATHE was locked in down the lane until it was too late last week. She could turn the tables if she gets a reasonable trip. (4) INTOTHEMYSTICMOON was dead game last week, closing on the choice in the lane despite being first up for a while and she can be a threat here. (2) JKS ROLLIN BABY, 4th to the choice last week, figures to take another slice tonight.

Race 4: NW $13,650 L5 or $24,000 L8 AE: NW6 or $105,000 LT or starters for a purse of $15K or less L3 - Pick 4

(1) FABRIZIO N was motoring late in the mile last week but the leaders stole a slow third 1/4 and they had too much left. I can see him getting more aggressive tonight and he gets the nod. (2) JOELSYY HANOVER didn't get clearance until deep in the lane then he flew and got up to win. He is a repeat candidate here. (6) CADILLAC BAYAMA was right there in a blanket finish and he is another possibility here. (8) MOMAS SON BYRNE is obviously capable, but this will be only his third race in the past 78 days and he draws widest. I'm inclined to let him beat me tonight.

Race 5: NW $6,000 L5 or $14,700 L8 AE: Popup Starters

(2) SOMETIME SOMEWHERE took a new lifetime mark last week, he should get a good setup here, and Moreau is running hot; call to repeat. (4) RESPECT OUR FLAG jogged last time he raced this low and he should get an aggressive drive from Cullen here; using. (5) BEYOND BETTER should stalk a quick pace here and close for another share. (9) WILDRIVERBUMBLEBEE is racing well for Roy and he will likely be aggressively handled again tonight. He is in the exotics mix.

Race 6: 5YO and Younger NW2 or $23,000 LT AE: NW $900 L3 - Pick 5

(1) BLUEMOON BAYAMA won well at Flamboro Downs on Wednesday night and I'll give him the call to repeat here making the quick return. (2) SIP OF BOURBON fits well here and he gets post relief and he should be heard from tonight. (3) WHAMMER JAMMER was an easy winner in NW2 two starts back and he is an obvious threat here and hard to leave off multi-race tickets. (8) FLIGHT ONEFORTYSIX would be rated higher if he hadn't drawn widest; small share predicted.

Race 7: 5YO and Younger winners of 2 but not more than 4 or $45,000 LT AE: 3YO and 4YO top be claimed for $50,000

(7) EMMETTS BUDDY looked good rallying past similar last week and his strong late kick should play well here, too; call to repeat. (9) JABBERWOCKY paced a big mile in defeat in fast time and he figures to be the main threat starting from a slightly better post tonight. (2) THE BOSS SAID took a shuffle to last, slid off the pylons at the 3/4 pole, then closed well for a slice. He is worth a look at a price here. (6) YOURETHEONE will likely sit and rally here following a failed front end try last week.

Race 8: VALEDICTORY series 3YO Colts and Geldings 2nd Leg - Pick 4

(4) ULTRA IMAGE was conservatively driven as expected last week after missing a month and he got only a small slice as the odds-on chalk. Macdonald chooses another which should mean this one will go off as an overlay and I'll take a price shot with him tonight. (3) UNSUNG HERO looked good wiring the race the choice was in and he is the obvious one to beat. (5) JK MIKI MANTLE fired up the pylons in the lane and he was a sure winner at the 1/8th pole. Macdonald sticks with him but he will probably be an underlay here; your call. (8) MAYOR OFTHEMOMENT raced well after shipping in and he should be in the exotics mix again.

Race 9: NW $18,000 L5 or $31,000 L8 or NW $175,000 LT

(3) NO FREE LUNCH had no shot with the trip he got last week, now he drops and gets Macdonald back. He should be more aggressive here and he gets the nod over (4) DESPERATE MAN, who also drops off a decent first up effort in the top class. (1) CODENAME CIGAR BOX is another dropper that figures, but I wonder what kind of trip he can work out starting from the rail. I'll use him underneath. (6) SAULSBROOK VICTOR likely sits and rallies for a small share here.

Race 10: NW $13,650 L5 or $24,000 L8 or NW6 or $105,000 LT AE; Starters for a purse of $15,000 or less L3

(7) STONEBRIDGE REX raced tough last week but a rival unleashed a 26-flat kicker to get past him late. A similar effort can get the job done tonight. (5) WOODMERE STEALDEAL races tough every week and he should be right there on the slight class drop tonight. (2) DONTPOKETHEDRAGON, a winner of three straight in the top class at Flamboro, is another in with a shot here but I prefer to use him underneath. (6) SOUTHBEACH HANOVER can be sharper this week and he should be in the mix despite jumping up in class a couple of levels.

Race 11: NW $3,000 L5 or $8,000 L8 AE: Starters for a purse of $9,000 or less L4

(4) BAYFIELD BEACH finished well last week now he drops and moves inside and he gets top billing here. (9) CENTURY HANNIBAL fired a big kicker last week and he gets J. Mac now; speed blast coming? (3) PARTYINTHESHADOWS is another that drops and moves inside that is worth a look for late multi-race tickets. (7) ILLGETMYOWN THANKS will probably pass a few rivals late to land in the bottom of the exotics. (2) LETS GET PICKLED figures to sit another trip close to the front and stick around for a slice.
