Race 1: NW $5,000 L5 or $10,500 L10 **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**
(7) LANCASTER BOMBER raced better on New Year's Day but the winner was too tough. He adds Lasix here and he fits well vs. these; top call. (4) GOING FAST raced decently coming off a 4 3/4 month break. His price will drop now, but he is in with a good chance tonight. (1) BEACHIN LINDY got too far back as the even money choice last week now he draws the rail which should mean another slow start. He's a contender here, but I wouldn't take a short price. (6) LONG WEEKEND A should be racing close to the front and that makes him an exotics factor tonight.

Race 2: PREFERRED
(2) WHEELS ON FIRE tried the first-over route last week and that's not his best trip. I expect him to be pointed to the front again tonight; top call. (1) SO MUCH MORE is remarkably consistent, even when facing the boys at the highest class level. She was unlucky in defeat last week and she's an obvious threat. How good is east coast invader (5) WOODMERE STEALDEAL? We'll find out here as he gets the acid test, but he sure looked good taking a new life's mark last weekend. He could be the multi-race value here. (6) BEYOND BETTER should pass a couple of these late to take another share.

Race 3: Claiming Handicap $22,000 to $30,000
(1) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ raced tremendous off the claim but he couldn't outsprint the leader who enjoyed a soft trip. He can turn the tables tonight if there is more pace. (8) GOLDINTHEBADLANDS dug in to hold off the choice after stealing a breather in the third 1/4. He is razor-sharp and he must be respected as he shoots for a fifth straight win. (6) MACH IMPACT disappointed after getting bet down to favoritism off the Marfisi claim. He can improve enough to take a share tonight. (7) OUTKAST BLUE CHIP, claimed when 3rd to the top two choices, can be in the exotics mix again tonight.
Race 4: 5YO and Younger NW3 or $30,000 LT AE: 4YO to be claimed for $25,000 - Pick 4
(8) SPORTS REPORT slid out onto excess cover at the 5/16ths pole then he ate up a lot of ground quickly in deep stretch to run down a loose leader. Off that sharp win, I'll give him the nod to repeat. (9) PETER POOLE faces tougher racing off the Auciello claim, but he is razor-sharp and he gets McNair tonight; using. (3) DR JOE responded to the driver change and a more aggressive approach last week and he was able to hold the favorite at bay late. This improving gelding is worth a look here. (10) SAULSBROOK VICTOR is one of the best in here but you have to wonder what kind of a trip he will get from out there. I'll use him on the bottom.
Race 5: New Year Claiming Series Final Ont. Sired 4YO $40,000 Claiming with Allowances
(7) MUSTANG BEACH was much the best last week after getting a less than ideal trip. He is strictly the one to beat here. (1) MAYHEM LIKE ME is interesting getting Macdonald for this second start back off a break. He is the other one that I'll use on multi-race tickets. (8) ALL CHEDDAR has produced two good rallies for shares so far in this series and he could add some value to the exotics tonight. (9) P L OLIVER should be good for a share despite drawing wide.
Race 6: NW4 or $62,000 LT AE: 4YO who were NW $45,000 in 2021 - Pick 5
(4) THATLL BE SPORTY is razor-sharp and drawn perfectly. I'll give him top billing expecting him to get involved earlier tonight. (6) VP ROCKIN hit the board every time while chasing Century Hannibal in the Valedictory series and he should be heard from here; using. (3) PROLINE should improve in this second start back, but he has 5 1/2 lengths to make up on the choice; using underneath. (5) TAKE A GAMBLE will likely land in the Tri or Super racing close to the front throughout.
Race 7: NW $11,100 L5 or $22,000 L10 or NW $75,000 LT AE: NW $20,200 L8
(8) NO PLAN INTENDED makes his fourth start back and doesn't have to face streaking Mappos Lion tonight. He should find this spot easier. (2) POINTOMYGRANSON is a drop-and-pop specialist. I wouldn't be surprised to see him trip out and win tonight; using. (3) SOMETIME SOMEWHERE made a nice late charge in his local debut and he retains the services of driver Macdonald here. He's worth a look for the exotics. (6) SHADOW IN RED should move up in this spot. I'll use him underneath in the exotics.
Race 8: Horses Who Started in A Pop Up Event That were NW $50,000 in 2021 - Pick 4
With some speed lined up on the outside of the gate, this race should set up for stout closer (2) MACHDAVID; top call. (3) INTRIGUED AGAIN has been in tough since exiting Pop Up Events four starts back and he should be in the mix tonight; using. (8) AREUKIDDINME CABBIE raced tough in the recent Pop Up series and he is another possibility for late multi-race tickets. (6) P L JACKSON beat easier last time. I see him rallying for a small share tonight.
Race 9: 5YO and Younger NW2 or $17,000 LT
(7) SPORT SECRET made a big move to the front at the right time in his debut then he dug in to fight off challengers. I'll give him the call to repeat expecting improvement in this second start. (1) BOTTLE ROCKET was impressive breaking his maiden, but this barn isn't known for stringing wins together at NW1 and NW2 levels; your call. (2) STATE SENATOR already has five wins and he faced much tougher in his local debut. He gets a driver change to Jamieson and he is worth a price look tonight. (4) FLASH TO THE FINISH should close for another share this week.

Race 10: NW $19,000 L5 or $26,000 L10 AE: Pop Up Starters
(3) HARAMBE DEO has been racing tough in some fast races south of the border and he should be the one to beat tonight. (1) JIMMY FREIGHT passed some horses last week which should help build his confidence and he could be ready to produce a top effort now; using. (5) RAYS KREDIT has been excellent racing out of the Auciello barn but this is tougher. I'll use him underneath this week. (4) PRICELESS BEACH is another that should rally for a small share here.
Race 11: NW $8,000 L5 or $16,000 L10
(4) HIGHLANDBEACHLOVER takes a pretty big drop here and I expect him to be sent on a front-end mission, which is when he performs best. (10) STONEBRIDGE REX is another dropper that figures to blast off the gate and it wouldn't be surprising to see these two fight it out down the lane for the win. (8) MAJOR CUSTARD made a nice late charge last week and he can come on late again for a slice. (3) FABRIZIO N is another who should be racing near the front early and he should stick around to land in the High-5. (9) SPORTSLINE is capable at this level but based on recent starts he seems more likely to take a small share.
