There could be some Pick 5 value here and I will use both to knock off the class dropping (3) ANGOSTURA HANOVER, who is sure to be a factor, but could get over bet. Race 4: NW $18,000 IN 2024 (MIN 10 STARTS) OR NOT AVERAGING $1,620 PER START IN 2024 (MIN 9 STARTS) - Pick 4 (1) SMOKESTACK raced decently last week, considering he had to pace a 27 3/5 third 1/4 uncovered. I can see him scoring an upset here if he finds a live helmet to follow. (7) MAGICAL ARTHUR crushed similar rivals two starts back and I don’t mind him getting Borth this week; using. (4) BAYFIELD BEACH got the trip last week and he converted now he gets Roy in the bike this time. He figures to be a threat again racing close to the front. (3) WILDRIVERBUMBLEBEE is racing well, and he is another that is hard to toss here getting J Mac in the bike. Race 5: HORSES THAT HAVE STARTED FOR A PURSE OF $15,000 OR LESS IN ONE OF LAST 3 STARTS. AE: N/A $2,000 P/S IN 2024. (6) ENAVANT tipped his hand two starts back when he raced much better than it looked on paper considering the traffic he encountered. He was no secret off that trip, and he crushed last week. Now he gets a driver upgrade to Roy; call to repeat. (2) LEGION SEELSTER finally draws inside, and he should be much closer this week; Exacta factor. (4) RESPECT OUR FLAG is in very good form and he should be in the exotics mix again racing from close range. (9) CABOT BEACH arrives from Ohio in good form, but he gets saddled with a wide post. I’ll use him underneath.   Race 6: 2 & 3 YEAR OLDS NW $15,000 (ON SIRED $18,750) LIFETIME - Pick 5 (8) SOUTHWIND JUDGE crushed maidens last start and this field looks no tougher; call to repeat. (7) JOHNNY LAW could get a perfect pocket trip here following the choice and that makes him one that I must use on multi-race tickets. (5) BRINGITONHOMETOME can be better in this second start back, but I prefer to use him underneath. (3) BRUDON should be closer early leaving from a better post here and he can sneak into the exotics. Race 7: NW $28,000 LAST 5 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $100,000 (5) ERVIN HANOVER finished well last week now he gets a few things that swing his way: he gets off the rail and draws much better and he gets a driver upgrade to Roy; top call. (1) TAURASI is an obvious contender at this level, and he gets his regular driver back tonight. He’s hard to leave off multi-race tickets. (9) AMERICAN HISTORY is razor sharp and he has shown himself to be versatile. He is another that can win here. (2) WRITE ME A ROSE is another dropper that should be better this week; using underneath. Race 8: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 3 RACES OR $53,500 (OS $62,500) LIFETIME.
