(2) SARATOGA BLUE CHIP tried a third 1/4 move in the fog last week and he was repelled, that 1/4 being paced in 27 3/5. He seems to fit well here and he gets the nod. (7) MONTYSGONEMARBLE brings some good form in from Ottawa and Roy chose him over his stablemate here; using. (5) ALL CHEDDAR gets Filion back here and he is worth using in the early Pick 5. (3) SIR A was 3 to 5 when he first appeared here two starts back but he didn't get the best trip. He could pop here at a price.

Race 2: CLM HDCP $22,000 to $30,000

(5) OUTKAST BLUE CHIP got an impossible trip when claimed now he picks up Roy and gets post relief; top call. (6) MACH IMPACT also had a tough trip racing on the lead but he was game in defeat. He should be the one to beat tonight. (2) GOLDINTHEBADLANDS got a setup and he made no mistake, pouncing on the leaders at the right time. He is the third Pick 5 option in here. (4) MAJOR HILL comes up tagged here and he should improve, but I prefer to use him underneath.

Race 3: NW4 (F&M5) or $40,000 (F&M $50,000)

(4) ROWLEN only took one win last year but he has the best recent form and he gets the leading driver for this; top call. (6) STORMONT BARBEQUE steps up and he has missed some time, but he took his life's mark when facing a longer layoff on 12/3. The tote board might provide some clues with this one. (8) STONEBRIDGE STRONG is capable of rallying for a share in this spot; using underneath. (9) PRINCESSPARTYPANTS is another that should be passing some rivals late. Consider her for the bottom of Tri and Super.

Race 4: NW $5,700 L5 or $13,800 L10 - Pick 4

I'm going to take a shot with (1) CLEVER CHARACTER here, who debuts for Team Cullen after what appears to be a private sale. (5) LANCASTER BOMBER makes his fourth start back and faces much easier. He has to wake up in this spot, you'd think; using. (2) RAYS KREDIT is another dropping down and he switches barns and gets Macdonald. He is another wakeup candidate that is worth a look for early multi-race tickets. (7) HUNTER HILL exits a race that was paced very fast at Flamboro on the 22nd and he should be good for at least a share tonight.

Race 5: 5YO and Younger NW3 or $44,000 LT AE: 4YO to be claimed for $25,000

(6) HIPPYJOHN was steamrolling up the inside late in the stretch last week and he simply ran out of racetrack. I'll assume he gets put into this race earlier and give him the nod. (10) KISSINBYTHEBEACHES got an easier trip on the lead last week and that helped him repel favored (1) SAULSROOK VICTOR. Either of these contenders could win here in a race that will come down to pace and trip. (2) BETTORBEFLYIN can get positioned better early in this mile and take a small share.

Race 6: NW $11,500 L5 or $23,500 L10 AE: NW $70,000 LT ($105,000 Ont. Sired) or Pop Up Starters who are NW $34,000 L10 - Pick 5

(7) SHADOW IN RED raced tough last week but the heavily-favored winner has been racing out of his skin lately. This is a good spot; top call. (3) NO PLAN INTENDED wasn't far behind the choice and he should be tighter in this second start back; using. (8) INTRIGUED AGAIN is sharp and he can be a factor here. The outside post is the main drawback for him. (2) CHIEFS BEACH exits a fast Flamboro race and he isn’t out of place here; using underneath.

Race 7: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,500 L10

(4) MAJOR CUSTARD raced much better in his first start out of a new barn and he gets post relief now. He should have a big shot in here. (5) LOU ED ZEPPELIN has excuses in both of his last two starts and he is the one to fear here. (8) VANILLA MALTED is worth a look coming out of the top class in Ottawa. He isn't out of place vs. these. (6) HERVEY HANOVER should pass a few of these and take a share.

Race 8: Valedictory Pacing Series Final - Pick 4

(5) CENTURY HANNIBAL has been dominant in the preliminary legs of this series and he should close out the series sweep tonight as the chalk. (6) TAKE A GAMBLE got the jump on the choice last week but he couldn't hold that rival off. He is the most likely upsetter in this final. (4) VP ROCKIN has been heavily bet in the opening legs of this series but he has been no match for the choice. His price will be much better today if you still like him. I'll use him underneath. (7) KOUNT BLASTER will likely look to pass a few of these late and take another share. He can land in the bottom of the Tri or Super.

Race 9: NW $30,000 L5 or $175,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $80,000

(2) BEYOND BETTER is razor-sharp as seen by the 53 3/5 back 1/2 he paced last week. There is no Wheels On Fire to chase here and he gets Macdonald back in the bike, too; top call. I imagine (7) UHTRED will be blasting on the class drop from the widest post and he will probably be the one to catch tonight; using. (1) SPEEDY DOMINIC A stole one of these Preferreds on the engine five days back and its not impossible that might happen again here as there don't appear to be many that will be pointed to the front leaving; price look. (4) COLD CREEK CABO should be good for another small share tonight.

Race 10: NW $16,500 L5 or $26,500 L10 or NW $155,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $50,000

(2) COMMANDING OFFICER has been one of the sharpest horses on the grounds recently and his win streak should continue here facing tougher. (8) WOODMERE STEALDEAL, who didn't miss the board once in 2021, has adjusted well to the big circuit and he is a threat to repeat his sharp win from last week. (5) UNDERTHESOUTHRNSUN N is in the mix every week and he can land in the Tri again. (7) PRICELESS BEACH is another that is in solid form that should be passing horses late to be part of the exotics.

Race 11: NW $8,000 L5 or $19,500 L10 AE: Pop Up Starters who are NW $18,000 L5

(9) SWEET DEISEL drops multiple class levels and he gets McNair for this; speed blast coming? (6) RESPECT OUR FLAG was 2nd behind a winner that wasn't going to be caught last week. He is in with a chance here; using. (5) NIGHT WATCHMAN figures to get another good trip racing near the front and he should be in the Tri. (8) THRILLING TIMES gets Roy back and he should be an exotics factor in this spot. (4) BEACHIN LINDY can pass a few of these in the back 1/2 and finish on the edges.
