(7) WALLACE HARTLEY drops and gets Henry, and he should get an aggressive steer in this spot; top call in the opener. I liked the way that (2) LAMBORGHINI LOU finished last week, and he had missed more than three weeks then. He will probably lay closer to the pace here and he is in with a decent shot; using. (4) OVERTHINKING is another dropper that should improve, and he has won half his starts. Borth will put him in play leaving the gate this time and he is another to consider for the early Pick 5. (6) DM SNAKEPLISSKEN flew late to beat easier last time. I’ll use him underneath on the class rise.

Race 2: FILLIES & MARES: NW $18,000 IN 2024 (MIN 10 STARTS). AE: NOT AVERAGING $1,635 PER START IN 2024 (MIN 10 STARTS). AE: NW $100 LAST 5 STARTS

(6) WILDCAT STAR was given an easy trip as the chalk after missing 3 1/2 weeks now she gets post and class relief and Henry in the bike; top call. (4) CHELSIS CHOICE dropped to this level and got hung out to dry. Leaving from a better post gives her a much better chance tonight and she is the other one that I’ll use in the Pick 5. (8) ELLAS REASON A got trounced on 10/11 but she drops to a spot here where she should wake up and be much closer; using underneath. (7) BETTER BE DONNA N will likely blast then last for only a small share in this spot.

Race 3: HORSES THAT HAVE STARTED FOR A PURSE OF $15,000 OR LESS IN ONE OF LAST 6 STARTS

(2) SOUTHSIDE EDDY dropped, took a ton of action, then crushed last week and he looks good to repeat in this spot. (4) HUNGRY MAN gets into this condition because he raced for a purse of $15K six starts back. He fits well here, and he should be a big threat. (7) RESPECT OUR FLAG is razor sharp but he might find the top two choices too tough in here; using underneath. (8) LEGION SEELSTER should pass a few of these in the lane and land in the bottom of the exotics.

Race 4: NW $2,950 LAST 5 STARTS. AE: NOT AVERAGING $1,050 PER START IN 2024 (MIN 10 STARTS) - Pick 4

(8) PIPEWRENCH CHARLIE was best last week but he got hounded throughout by a rival that parked the mile. He gets top billing here expecting a better trip for him. (6) MAJOR HILL returns quicker and draws best and he should get put into play this time; using. (3) RILKOFF was the benefactor when the choice tired from his early efforts last week. He is sharp but I prefer to use him underneath here. (4) BETTOR THAN PRIDE comes off a win in an amateur drivers race but he has been sharp for a few starts, and he should be in the exotics mix again.

Race 5: 4 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER NW $15,000 (ON SIRED $23,250) LIFETIME. AE: 3 & 4 YO N/A $1,255 PS IN 2024

(4) GYPSY JOE seeks a threepeat and this field doesn’t look any tougher than the one he beat last week so he gets top billing. (5) GRAVITATIONAL closed well to finish only a length behind the choice and he gets on a 7-day cycle this week. He is the other one that I’ll use on multi-race tickets. (1) RISE N GRIND was only a neck behind the choice, but I don’t love the driver change here; using underneath. (7) ZEBS KRAFTY will likely last longer with Henry in the bike this week. I see him taking a small slice.

Race 6: NW $8,000 LAST 5 STARTS OR NW $20,800 LAST 8 STARTS. AE: OPT. CLM. $50,000 - Pick 5

This is a huge class drop for (4) REDWOOD HANOVER and he should get the job done vs. this group. Classy (3) POSEIDON SEELSTER qualified well for this return, and he can be an Exacta factor in this first start racing off the shelf. (7) ORDER ONE TO GO is sharp and Macdonald gave him a nice aggressive steer last time, but I prefer to use him underneath in this spot. (5) BOSTON BOUND closed well for a share at this level last time and he can close for another share here.

Race 7: PREFERRED HANDICAP PP#1-6 & #7-10 DRAWN

(9) FORTIFY is one of the sharpest horses on the grounds right now and he will be tough to beat here if he gets a reasonable trip. (8) TAURASI returns from Ohio to face easier, and he should be the main rival to the choice tonight; using. (2) JACK PANIC, 2nd to the choice last week, can close for another share here. (10) SAULSBROOK VICTOR is likely limited to a small share starting from the widest post tonight.

Race 8: NW $18,000 IN 2024 (MIN 10 STARTS) OR NOT AVERAGING $1,530 PER START IN 2024 (MIN 8 STARTS). AE: NW $100 IN 2024 - Pick 4

(6) MAJOR FERNCO N comes off a sharp win at this level now he draws best and faces similar; call to repeat. (7) TYPHOON STRIDE N closed for a share off excess cover in that race and I can see him scoring the upset with the right trip tonight; using. (1) WILDRIVERBUMBLEBEE was a game 2nd to the choice but I don’t love the rail post for him here. I’ll use him underneath. (4) DALHOUSIE brings solid form with him from London, and he can pass some of these late to land in the money.

Race 9: NW $2,950 LAST 5 STARTS. AE: NOT AVERAGING $1,050 PER START IN 2024 (MIN 10 STARTS)

(5) PICK A GENRE goes to Barrington and adds Lasix after being scratched due to a mishap on the track before his last start. I’ll give him the nod in a race with no standout. (3) FOREFATHER got an impossible trip last time and he predictably tired. He should have a much better shot here. (8) BAYFIELD BEACH disappointed as chalk last week and I wouldn’t be surprised if he blasts off the gate tonight and tries to front end. He could lead all the way if he deploys those tactics. (9) COLIGNY HANOVER comes off a solid effort at Flamboro and he fits okay at this level. He is another in with a shot that merits a look for late multi-race tickets.

Race 10: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 3 RACES OR $52,750 (OS $67,250) LIFETIME. AE: 3 YEAR OLDS NW $18,950 LAST 5 STARTS. AE: 4 YO NW 2 RACES IN 2024.

(4) IVY PARK was raced hard last week after missing more than a month now he faces NW3. Expecting him to be better this week, he gets the nod. (1) CEREAL ASSASSIN steps up, but he was impressive winning from the 9-hole, and he is in with a decent chance to notch the threepeat. (8) STONEBRIDGE THRILL, stablemate to the choice, comes off a decent effort and picks up Henry in the bike tonight. He is another possibility for late multi-race tickets. (5) LOUS WORLD tripped out to score the upset last week. I’ll use him underneath here.

Race 11: NW $5,500 LAST 5 STARTS AE: N/A $1,650 P/S IN 2024

(5) ENAVANT got an impossible trip last week in a start that he surely needed. I’ll stick with him expecting better racing luck tonight. (6) SPEAKER OF PEACE drops and draws best and he should be a sped threat tonight. (3) STONEBRIDGE HELIOS raced okay from the 10-hole now he gets post relief, and he should be tighter now making his third start back; using. (4) HUNTER HILL had intent on making front last week but he couldn’t get there after starting from a wide post. He has a much better chance here starting from an inside post and he is another in with a chance here. (9) WOODMERE FENN, parked the mile last time, will likely sit and rally here; small share predicted.
