(1) WESTERN WISH hasn't raced this low since May and she should appreciate the class relief. She gets Filion tonight and she is worth a play here at what should be a decent price. (6) STYLE FOR A MILE is another dropper that should improve here starting from the best post; using. (8) SHES GOT IT ALL also drops and she will likely head straight to the front leaving the gate. She is another in with a shot in this wide-open lid lifter. (5) CARSONS GOUDA got a clear shot down the lane last time, but she could do no better than 4th. I'll use her underneath tonight.

Race 2: 5YO and younger NW1 or $8,200 LT

(1) BACK TO THE FUTURE qualified faster than most of tonight's rivals pace in pari-mutuel races and that makes him an automatic play for me. (6) HIGHLAND HOT SAUCE is one of the fastest in here on a consistent basis and he figures to be a threat in this field. (7) BETTOR BEA TERROR qualified well for this return, but he is 1 for 24 and the morning line favorite. I'd need a price to get interested. (8) ATLAS MARIGOLD brings good form in from Flamboro, and he is worth using in the exotics.

Race 3: NW $5,550 L5

(8) FABRIZIO N exits some races that had fast early paces that he was part of. Dropping tonight, he should be able to get a breather and Hudon will be looking to send him right down the road. (7) RESPECT OUR FLAG is the other dropper that figures, and I can see him leaving and landing in the choice's pocket; using. (2) ACTOR HANOVER should be closer to the front this time and that gives him a good chance to land in the exotics. (1) G A SPEED SAMMY will likely sit a trip and come on late for a small share.

Race 4: NW $8,000 L5 or $13.050 L8 AE: OPT CLM $45,000 - Pick 4

(3) MOMAS SON BYRNE takes a class plunge here and he will likely prove hard to beat in a spot where he can control the pace. (5) FROWNIES MIRACLE has been lights out in two starts for Barrington since being claimed and he can be an Exacta factor here, too. (6) ROCKME ROLLME typically is in the hunt when he drops to this level, and he should be part of the exotics. (2) SHADOW IN RED can close for another small slice in this spot.

Race 5: 5YO and younger winners of 2 but not more than 4 or $51,000 LT AE: 3YO 4YO and 5YO to be claimed for $50,000

(5) MARSHALL ZHUKOV, winner of 12 of his last 22, left, took a shuffle and re-rallied last week and he looks best here; top call. (9) WOODMERE FENN rates highly on form but he has developed a case of seconditis lately. I would demand a price here. (8) PALLADIUM HANOVER should flash speed again and he can be tough if he gets a breather. He is another in with a shot. (3) BEACH TOUR gets Henry, and he can close for a slice vs. these.

Race 6: 5YO and younger NW2 or $30,000 LT - Pick 5

This looks like a good spot for (2) HES SURE GOOD who adds Lasix and should get an aggressive steer. (3) HIGH VOLTAGE DEO figures to race on or close to the lead throughout and he should be the main threat. (1) BROOKDALE JOHNNY raced okay when no match for Talk Racy To Me but that ran his 2023 record to 0 for 21. I'll use him underneath. (5) MUFFERAW JOE will likely get an aggressive steer in this spot. He should stick around for a slice.

Race 7: F&M NW $4,000 L5 or $9,750 L8 AE: OPT CLM $20,000 or NW $34,500 LT

(3) FREE TO BE ME got a nice tightener in against tougher and she gets the nod tonight on the class drop. (6) FATED FIRE draws best here, and she should be the main threat likely racing on or near the front most of the mile. (9) THE IDEAL HUNTRESS is another that should be leaving fast in this spot and if she can clear, she might lead these all the way. (4) TAKEYOURBREATHAWAY takes frequent shares, and she figures to be passing some of these late. She is a good one to use underneath.

Race 8: NW $14,000 L5 or NW $100,000 LT - Pick 4

(7) HIGHLANDBEACHLOVER is in peak form, he drops, and he will be tough to beat if he can produce an effort close to his mile two starts back. (5) JABBERWOCKY will likely blast off for the front at the start and try to bottom out the field. He is capable on his best day. (6) MATAI LOUIS N is another dropper that figures in this spot Note he was a winner at this level on 9/9. (8) NO FREE LUNCH draws worst, and he will likely be closing from the back tonight; small share predicted.

Race 9: PREFERRED 2

(3) EMMETTS BUDDY has never been better, and he showed a different dimension last week when he blasted off from the inside to ensure he got pocketed up behind Tattoo Artist. He should be tough in here tonight. (5) FUNATTHEBEACH N finished behind the choice last week, but he could be sharper returning in 7 days this time. He should be the main threat. (1) LIVINTHEBEACHLIFE has been closing well every week. He can come on late for a good share in this small field. (6) COLD CREEK QUESO likely flashes speed then sticks around for a small slice.

Race 10: NW $23,000 L5 or $30,750 L8

(5) SAULSBROOK VICTOR got a tough trip last time after starting from a wide post. He gets post relief tonight and that can make the difference; top call. (3) SO MUCH MORE has beat the boys several times in the past and she seems to fit well here. She is so tough that she can rarely be counted out. (4) BEYOND BETTER is another that draws better that could capitalize on that post relief this time; using. (8) POINTS NORTH was iron-tough winning first up last week, but he steps up and draws widest. I'll use him underneath this time.

Race 11: F&M NW $14,000 L5 AE: NW $70,000 in 2023

(6) HUNTRESS was asked for nothing until the top of the lane last week and she absolutely flew down the lane to get up right on the line. I'll call her to repeat despite the class rise. (9) GIAS SURREAL dominated at this level two starts back and she should be the one to catch here. (4) GOUDAWON couldn't be any sharper and she will again offer a good price jumping up in class tonight. She is worth using in the late Pick 4. (7) SHESASHARPSHOOTER was resilient on the lead last time at a short price, but I don't see her getting the same trip here; small share predicted. (8) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP will likely close from far back and land in the bottom of the exotics.
