Race 1: NW $8,300 L5 or $17,500 L9 **GTD $100,000 Pick 5**

(3) MAJOR HILL drops to a likely spot and he draws a good post. He can get back on track at this level; top call. (5) SAMS A CHAMP A also is in a much better spot here and I like that he flashed early speed in his most recent start; using. (4) AMERICAN HUSTLE was a winner one class lower three starts back and he isn't out of place here; using underneath. (1) CARSONS SHADOW comes off a sharp try but that was against much easier. I'll use him on the bottom.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS FINAL 2YO COLTS and GELDINGS

This Grassroots final should be a good battle between (1) HIGHLAND MOWGLI and (2) FOUR WHEELIN. I'll give a slight nod to the former based on recent form and use both in the Pick 5. (4) TYMAL CHROME has improving form and he is a good one to use on the bottom of the Tri and deeper Pick 5 tickets as there is some upset potential here. (7) WARRAWEE WINDSOR's 27 4/5 kicker on 10/1 catches the eye and he is another to consider for the exotics.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS FINAL 2YO FILLIES

(5) HP MAMA B has been outstanding in Grassroots company and she will take beating here at a short price. (2) MAG N LADY raced well against the choice last time and likely saved something for this final. She is the most logical upsetter. (6) DOING IT ALL raced well considering post and trip last time and she draws much better here. She should get a good piece of this purse. (3) TIPSY IN DIXIE got a perfect trip last time that is unlikely to be repeated here facing tougher; small share predicted.

Race 4: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS FINAL 3YO FILLIES - Pick 4

(7) LYONS TILT HANOVER has excelled since moving into the Beaton barn five starts back and she was impressive last time easily rolling past in the lane. She gets top call here in a race that figures to have a contested pace. (3) MACH MY KISS was solid when coming off a break, doing all the work first up and getting picked off in the final stride by a rival that rode the pylons the entire mile. She rates highly here. (6) ODDS ON VERO BEACH had an eventful trip last time and she was coming on again late; another possibility for multi-race tickets. (2) MARY KAT is likely to seek out a trip this time and she has upset potential at likely big odds.

Race 5: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS FINAL 2YO FILLIES

(3) CHIEFS DREAM GIRL was flying late but she just ran out of racetrack. She has a great record in Grassroots company, and she gets the nod in a contentious dash. (10) SHIATZU SEELSTER races better of a helmet and she could upset at a big price here with the right trip. (4) C L SPORTSEXTREME passed all but one in a terrific effort and she should lay closer this time. She is one of several contenders in a race that should come down to trip and racing luck. (7) NIGHTLIFE SEELSTER made two moves to win in fast time and if she makes front and is allowed to steal a breather, she will be tough.

Race 6: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS FINAL 3YO COLTS and GELDINGS - Pick 5

(4) LOVEDBYTHEMASSES is simply the fastest colt in here and he looks like he is bringing his best form to this stakes final; top call. (3) MIKEY MASS was conservatively driven last time and he should have plenty in the tank for a top try. He is the one most likely to topple the choice. (5) RIPPED AND READY stole a cheap 1/2 and he was long gone. He is unlikely to get that same luxury here and I'll use him underneath. (6) KENOGAMI COCO was game despite being out a long way last time. He should be in the exotics mix.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS FINAL 3YO COLTS and GELDINGS

(3) BETTORBUCKLEUP looked beat last time then surged late in the mile in a gritty effort; slight nod in a contentious race. (6) MAYHEM HANOVER was the one that got nailed on the wire by the choice after appearing to be a sure winner at the 1/16th pole. He is an obvious big threat here. (1) TWIN B FRENCHTOAST was terrific in early summer and he appears to be coming back around now; upset chance. (4) CAPTIVATE HANOVER is one of the best closers in this field and from a good post he should land in the Tri or Super.

Race 8: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS FINAL 3YO FILLIES

(1) YEN did well last time considering she had an impossible trip after starting from the worst post. I'll give her the nod hoping that she doesn’t get overbet. (3) PROFOUND PARAGON was always going to win last week, and she is the obvious one to beat. (10) MOANA never misses the Exacta but post 10 may not be great for her in this final. I'll use her underneath. (6) SONADORA DEO goes for a barn that can never be counted out in these races and she will be a likely speed threat.

Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS FINAL 2YO COLTS and GELDINGS - Pick 4

(8) SECOND BRUISER has been unbeatable in his past three starts and he should be very hard to knock off here. (1) TAKE CONTROL is getting hot at the right time and he surged late last time to get up for a win in a final time that equaled the choice; Exacta factor. (3) PROLINE has developed a nice late kick and I see him closing to take a good share here. (7) STONEBRIDGE REX is another who has improved as the season has gone on and he is in the mix here.

Race 10: NW $26,500 L5 or $30,000 L10 or NW $140,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $55,000

(1) BEST IN SHOW drops and moves inside. He should be tough in here if he is within striking range at the 3/4 pole. (4) CASIMIR RICHIE P figures to also improve on the class drop and he should be a front-end threat in this spot; using. (2) ROCKIN IN HEAVEN never gets bet but he wins frequently. He'll bring another square price here and he isn't impossible in this spot. (7) SPORTSLINE should be blasting early with his nose on the gate and he should stick around for a share.

Race 11: NW $8,300 L5 or $17,500 L9

(6) EAST END drops to a likely spot and Drury should be looking to send him right down the road against a group he should dominate. (5) ROYAL RENEGADE continues to close late every week and he could upset if he doesn't let the choice get too big of a jump on him. (7) AWESOMENESS is another who takes a class drop that should be heard from in this spot, but I prefer to use him underneath. (1) BIT OF LUCK took a new season's mark beating lesser last week. He can sneak into the Tri or Super here.

Race 12: NW $16,000 L5 or $30,100 L10 or NW $120,000 LT or AE: OPT CLM $45,000

(8) WHEELS ON FIRE drops again and he is sure to be sent on a speed mission. I like his chances vs. these. (2) FIXED IDEA finally draws well, and he should be the main threat this week. (1) HAIL CHRISTIAN N looked good winning last week, but this is tougher; demand a price. (3) YACHT SEELSTER is usually close at this level and he should be in the mix for the Tri or Super. (4) MILITARY SECRET has raced well in every start since being claimed on 8/31 and he has upset potential here.
