(6) RESOLVING has taken a patient approach in her last two starts perhaps saving her best for this $60K final. She should get put into this race earlier and she gets top call here. (4) ROSE RUN XCENTRIC has got hot at the right time, and she is the one to catch. You have to wonder if she will be left alone on the lead this time though with finals $ on the line. (1) HANG ON BABY took a while to get going last week but she really kicked into high gear in the final 1/16th. She is in with a decent chance, too. (9) SAINT ANTOINE can get a piece of this at a price. Consider her for the bottom of the exotics.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS FINAL 2YO Fillies

(1) SWEET CARRIE T improved with McClure in the bike and she should get a setup for her late kick tonight; top call. (4) LUCY WHO shoots for five straight wins and is the obvious one to beat but you wonder if she will face more pace pressure in this final. (2) DIVINNE MAGIC IS getting hot at the right time. She is another in with a shot here. (5) NO ANGEL LIKE ME has been right there in every start and she should get a piece of this.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS FINAL 2YO Colts and Geldings

(9) ALL STAR YANKEE made a couple of moves last week to win in what was by far his best performance to date. I'll go price shopping with him in a race with a few options. (1) NOTHINGBUTADREAMER is obviously capable of better than he showed last week. I think he gets more aggressive tonight; using. (6) WATCH A PRO consistently passes rivals and drawing best tonight gives him a shot. (8) TAKE ON ME tried to crush the field in the third 1/4 last week and he ended up getting picked off. He is in the mix here.

Race 4: NW $18,000 L5 or $28,000 L10 or NW $170,000 LT AE: NW6 LT - Pick 4

(2) CADILLAC BAYAMA has one of the most lethal kicks when he can stay covered up to the head of the lane and I can see him getting a setup here; price play. (7) CENTURY HEINEKEN paced a 52 1/5 back 1/2 against Tattoo Artist and he could do no better than 7th. He is in with a better chance vs. these. (3) CARBINE should be better in his second start over the track. He is in the mix tonight and will be tough if he is allowed to make front. (1) SOUTHBEACH HANOVER is another that should improve tonight but he likes the front and he will be under the gun early starting from the rail; using underneath.

Race 5: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS FINAL 2YO Fillies

(6) GRANDEUR SEELSTER has been lights out in her last two starts and she gets the nod tonight starting from the best post. (3) TWIN DELIGHT comes in off a game semi-final win. She is sharp and dangerous. (7) CHEESE SO PRETTY is right there every week and she has shown versatility. This is another Grassroots final with a few live options. (1) GLENBORO should get a good following trip here and crack the exotics.

Race 6: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 3YO FILLIES - Pick 5

(3) RAPTORS WON should be tough to beat coming off a new life's mark in the semi-final. She gets the nod over (1) MOMENTARILY who also comes in off a lifetime best mile and can race effectively on the lead or from off the pace. (5) MORETHANMYHOMETOWN should fly home for another good share tonight. (6) FADE OUT is another that is likely to close late for a small share.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS FINAL 2YO Colts and Geldings

There is a good battle brewing here between (2) AHI SUNSHINE and (7) REIGN SUPREME. I think the former wears down the latter in deep stretch to take the decision. (3) THE GOLDEN JET hasn't missed the board yet and that streak should continue here. (5) SLICK N QUICK can close for another here at a price. Consider him for the bottom of Tri and Super bets.

Race 8: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS FINAL 3YO Colts and Geldings - Pick 4

(9) RESOLUTE BAY shoots for five straight here and the outside post is okay for him with his good gate speed; top call. (8) WARRAWEE XALT is hot at the right time and he will be the target here and the one to catch. (7) KIPPER WHIPR SNIPR is improving at the right time and he is worth a look for multi-race tickets at a price. He could vault past the choices late if they hook up in the third 1/4. (1) RENEGADE GYPSY always takes a share it seems and he should be part of the Super.

Race 9: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS FINAL 3YO Colts and Geldings

(2) DREAMFAIR ARNIE B has been all but unbeatable in Grassroots races and he will be hard to get past tonight. He will be a single for me. (7) JABBERWOCKY was good facing the choice after shipping north and racing in three day's rest. He can be closer tonight. (9) CHUCKY HANOVER, 2nd to the choice last week, is likely doomed by his wide draw tonight; using underneath. (6) STOP THE SHOOTIN is good at the right time and he is worth a look for the exotics.

Race 10: OPEN PACE

(5) TATTOO ARTIST's only losses since 7/23 have come at the hooves of Bulldog Hanover and he isn't here so the Artist is the one to beat in this small Open field. (2) WARRAWEE VITAL was 2nd to the choice on 9/17 and he has a recency edge on him, having raced and won in Indiana last Saturday. He could turn the tables tonight. (3) AMERICAN HISTORY comes off a nice win but this is a tougher assignment; using underneath. (6) CODENAME CIGAR BOX can pass a couple of these and take a share.

Race 11: NW $12,000 L5 or $23,000 L10 or NW $110,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $65,000

(5) LEGION SEELSTER was moved early and he paced a 27 1/5 second 1/4 last week but a rival beat him to the punch and he got left out there. He was game right to the wire and he can beat these if he gets a slightly easier trip. (8) POINTS NORTH was intent on making front last week, but a class dropper was having none of it and he was forced to take a seat. He lacked room for part of the stretch drive and I could see him being a big speed threat here. (4) MOMAS SON BYRNE is developing a lethal late kick and he is hard to leave off multi-race tickets. (1) COMMANDING OFFICER is always around the money at this level but I don't love the rail post for him here. I'll use him underneath. (6) IDEAL PERCEPTION should close late to take another slice here.
