(2) CHANTEE started his career here last fall and he compiled a 4-4-0 record in 10 starts raced over the Mohawk Park surface. Trainer Velaye has shipped them in and won before and I'll go price hunting with this gelding to kick off the Pick 5. (4) HERVEY HANOVER has been overtaken early in the mile by two big chalks in his last two starts. He has a much better chance of leading to the top of the lane tonight and that makes him dangerous. Note the 1:50-flat loose lead win three starts back. (8) FAST N FIRST should fit well here exiting some tough claimers at Yonkers. He is the third one that I'll use in the Pick 5. (7) YOURTHEONE is in solid form but he faces tougher here. I'll use him underneath.

Race 2: NW $2,000 L3
(8) NO FREE LUNCH is better than these and the sub-27 kickers in his two September qualifiers indicate he is ready to roll; top call. (1) QUAN BLUE CHIP fits well at this protected level racing off the claim and I can see him completing the Exacta. (7) UNCONTROLLABLE was a good third at this level last time and he should be in the exotics mix again. (3) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ can rally for a small share in this spot.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 5th Leg 3YO Fillies
(5) VELVET STINGER has really progressed in her past couple of starts and she should prove hard to hold off in this short field. (6) SPEAKER NANCY bounced back with a nice effort in a prep for this and she can be a threat here, probably racing from close range; using. (3) GOT THE GOLD can get a good pace trip up front in this spot and she could get brave if she is left alone on the engine for too long. (4) GOUDAWON should close late for a small share.
Race 4: 5YO and Younger NW2 (F&M3) or $20,000 LT - Pick 4
(2) CHOCOLATE PARFAIT has done little wrong so far and he should keep rolling through his conditions here in a race where he stands out. (1) THE PINBALL WIZARD looked like he was starting to dial in the leader when he broke in midstretch last week. He should be the main threat here. (9) PURE WOW flashed speed against the choice, eventually getting beat by 3 1/2 lengths now she adds Lasix. She can last longer here; using underneath. (5) THE BLACK ACE can rally for another small share in this spot.
Race 5: CLM HDCP $22,000 to $30,000
(3) MAYHEM LIKE ME did well to stay for 3rd considering how long he raced uncovered on the rim last week. He will have speed to chase here and he can sit back and rally past late. (5) PLAY JET RAY adds Lasix after squandering a win by breaking stride while holding a seemingly insurmountable lead last time. He also goes for a much more productive barn off the claim and he will be a threat. (10) JULERICA is always a threat no matter where he lines up on the gate; using. (9) HERESTHATMANAGAIN can rally for a small slice at a price.
Race 6: Pop Up Series Final - Pick 5
(7) THE PRINCE rolled through the preliminary legs and he is strictly the one to beat in this Pop Up final. (5) THEE DESPERADO is obviously capable of better than he showed last week and he will be sent forward early in this final. He is the most likely upsetter tonight. (1) MAGNIFICENT SEVEN raced well when 2nd to the choice last week. He should be in the mix here. (2) LUCAS NL figures to follow along near the front again and land in the Super.
Race 7: NW3 (F&M4) or $40,000 LT - Pick 4
(2) KEVIN ANTHONY is sharp and he showed last week that he can leave in the top five. He could be sitting on a win now and he gets the nod here. (4) DRINKS AT HOME is the key to the race being that he faces much easier and adds Lasix. The issue for me is his stale date and I can't take a short price on him considering he has missed more than a month. (1) EVIL GUY can improve sharply coming back much quicker for this start; price look. (5) ROSIES WAR BONDS can sit a trip racing near the front and take a share.
Race 8: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 5th Leg 3YO Fillies
(2) IN THE MOOD was airborne late last week but she had too far to come. She faces some favorites that could be vulnerable late in this mile; call to upset. (3) SILVER LABEL looked like a Grand Circuit winner until she was nailed right on the line by a razor-sharp stablemate and she is the one to beat here. (4) PROHIBITION LEGAL is the class of the field but she is 0 for 5 this year and she missed most of the lucrative summer stakes season which gives me pause. I'll play to beat her tonight. (1) MADDIGAL dropped time since changing hands three starts back and she can take a slice tonight.

Race 9: NW $3,000 L5 or $11,000 L10 or NW2 in 2022 AE: Starters for a purse of $9,000 or less L3
(8) ARTIES IDEAL drops and he stands a good chance to pop facing much easier tonight. (1) HARPERS HAT TRICK went a big trip to win at a similar level two starts back and he should be threat here; using. (6) HESINCONTROL has had success with McNair in the bike and he returns for this drive. He is another in with a shot. (2) BETTIM AGAIN fits okay in here and he should be in the exotics mix.
Race 10: CLM HDCP $15,000 to $20,000
(1) SIR GALAHAD is in top form for Waxman and he can take another despite moving up a level here. (5) BETTOR NOTBITTER A has been right there in both starts since being claimed and he figures to be a late threat again here. (9) ALWAYS A HOTSHOT drops for this fourth start back and he will probably look to go down the road in this spot; using. (3) MILITARY SECRET is another that has improved since being claimed that is worth using on late multi-race tickets. (2) BANKROLL can close late for another small share here.
