Race 1: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 2YO FILLIES LT **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5**

(6) BETTER CATCH GIRL looked tremendous beating easier here last Tuesday and she gets the nod here off that sharp effort. (3) WARRAWEE XPAT shows two blowout wins the last two times she raced at Mohawk Park. She's hard to leave out of the Pick 5. (4) WINX typically produces a good final 1/4 burst when she races on this track and she has upset possibilities here. (7) GIRL SCOUT COOKIE fits the Grassroots level well but she has never broken 1:55 and the choice just paced in 1:53. I'll use her underneath.

Race 2: NW5 (F&M7) or $70,000 (F&M $87,500) LT AE: NW 2 in 2020-2021

(2) GAB IN MOTION made a big third 1/4 move last week, towering up in 27 1/5 to challenge but the leader was too good and that rival quickly sprinted away from the field. A similar move can work here and he gets the nod. (3) SPARTAN GENERAL closed late for 2nd and he finished ahead of the choice. He is dangerous here. (4) GP DREAMIN comes off a nice win and she should be a front end threat here again; using. (6) OKEANOS was picked off late by a repeat winner. That was a good effort and he might be rated a bit low here.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 3YO COLTS AND GELDINGS

Determination turned the training and driving duties of (3) DEWEY DEO over to Pat Hudon who specializes in handling problem trotters and he could wake up in this spot; upset special. (6) HARRY could be the one to beat here coming off a big win from post 9; using in the Pick 5. (5) DIEHARD SEELSTER tries hard every race but he is stuck on one win and I'll use him underneath here. (1) ARLANDA comes off a string of good efforts and he gets post improvement here. He should be in the exotics mix again today.

Race 4: 2YO NW $7,000 LT - Pick 4

(7) CONTROL SICILY had little chance in a race where the late pace was swift, but he gained some ground late and paced a 27-flat kicker himself. He fits well here and he should have a good chance to graduate. (2) HEART OF DIXIE exits a similar race where the late pace made it tough to close. He looks like one of the main players here; using. (6) BEACH GLASS gets sent out by sire Somebeachsomewhere's connections and he won by a distance in his lone qualifier on the Maritimes when both of his rivals broke stride. He is worth a look on debut. (5) SHADY ARTIST is by a hot sire and the Budd/Henry combo can pop at a price. He isn't impossible here.

Race 5: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES 2YO FILLIES

(6) DEWITT FOR JOSIE is unbeaten in Grassroots races and she looks solid here to keep the streak going; top call. (3) DAY TO PARTY has raced well in her past three starts which were all fast races and she is the most likely upsetter tonight. (10) BEST WATCH OUT has shown continuous improvement and she is worth using in the Exacta here because the 10-hole will add value. (7) SPEAK YOUR MIND was first up against the choice at Hanover. She could get a better result with a different trip this time.

Race 6: PREFERRED - Pick 5

(2) PERFETTO was in an impossible spot chasing a 1:51 winner last week. He has a much better shot here starting from a better post and with that rival gone and he gets the nod. (6) COMBS HANOVER tried it first-over in that fast mile and he stuck for third. He is the one to beat here. (5) GRANDMA HEIDI should blast for position tonight and she has upset possibilities. (7) DREAM NATION was in contention when he broke last week. He is worth using on the bottom of the Tri and Super.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 2YO FILLIES

(5) IN THE MOOD's only loss has come to the unbeaten filly Prohibition Legal and she looks good to take another win tonight. Similarly, (8) DELIGHT BAYAMA has only been beaten once by a filly that is unbeaten currently and she figures to be the main danger racing from close range tonight. (7) NOVELLA SEELSTER will get sent hard again by McNair and she should stick around for a share. (1) MORETHANMYHOMETOWN had a tough trip at Hanover and she showed she was improving prior to that.

Race 8: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 3YO COLTS and GELDINGS - Pick 4

(2) URNTROUBLE HANOVER raced hard to make front then was passed by the heavy favorite passing the 1/2. He was full of trot in the lane but had no racing room. He should be tough in here tonight. (1) FOUR WHEELIN is one-for-one with Macdonald driving and he should be the main danger here; using. (7) THE PRINCE failed as the 3 to 5 chalk in the prep for this but that doesn't mean he can't win tonight. His consistency should be respected. (6) TOKYO SEELSTER eked out a win in Grassroots company three starts back and he should be in the exotics mix.

Race 9: 2YO NW1 or $20,000 LT

(3) BOOTLEGGER CHARLIE has been 2nd to two very good colts in his past two starts and he should get a good setup for his strong late kick here; top call. (5) CENTURY INSPECTOR is too good to be a maiden but he has faced tougher all year. He fits better here and he would be no surprise. (6) THE BOSS SAID looked great winning first up next week and he is another in with a chance here. (7) SPORTS BOX should like this company better and he can close for a share.

Race 10: NW $18,000 L5 or $33,000 L10 or NW $135,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $50,000

(2) MIKEY MASS was tremendous last week while taking a new life's mark and he gets the call to repeat despite facing tougher. (7) BUZZ is sharp having won two of three both in a shade over 1:53 and he should be a threat right back. (4) HEAVENSDOOR HANOVER draws better and he should get sent forward leaving the gate this time. He has upset potential. (6) ALL WRAPPED UP seems to be a hit or miss type, but his best trip is racing off cover and he should be in the flow again. He isn't impossible in this competitive dash.

Race 11: NW $9,000 L5 or $17,000 L8 AE: OPT CLM $25,000 AE: NW $1,000 L4

(7) TREASURED TEE races best for McNair and he returns here. A form reversal is likely; top call. (1) NIMBUS DEO takes a big drop and moves into Menary's barn. He will take lots of action and he could be the one to beat in this spot. (8) MISTER OF ALL drops but he likely won't get bet much from out there. He is worth a look as a possible payoff boost for multi-race tickets. (2) FREE WILLY HANOVER and (3) HP ROYAL THEO both never miss a check and they should be used underneath in the exotics.
