Race 1: OSS GRASSROOTS 2YO COLTS AND GELDINGS **GTD $100,000 Pick 5**

(4) FOUR WHEELIN is unbeaten in Grassroots races and he should be very tough to beat in this field. (1) ROSIES WAR BONDS raced well last week but she has had gait issues and post 1 may not be best for her; demand a price. (2) TYMAL CHROME has raced well in Grassroots races but he'll need more speed to beat the choice; using underneath. (7) IMASHARPDEALER raced a bit better when he dropped to the Grassroots level last time and he could land in the bottom of the Super this time.

Race 2: NW3 (F&M5) or $46,000 (F&M $60,000) LT

(2) DELILAH SEELSTER gave it a good try against talented colt Pemberton last week and the way this race shapes up she could trip out; slight nod. (9) NEVER MIND N was never in danger last week despite winning by 1/2 a length and he is the one to beat again. (5) ANGRY EYES raced better last week when she was positioned near the front and she should be in the mix again. (7) MASSIVE FLIRT can close late again to take a small share.

Race 3: 2YO NW1 or $7,000 LT

(8) TOUCHEM ALL JOE's race two starts back stamps him as a major contender here and he should be tough exiting a Grand Circuit race to face maidens again. (2) KOMODO BEACH's potent late kick should play well in this field and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets put into this race much earlier; using. (3) PRAYFORTHEWICKED was no match for a strong winner last week but he is moving in the right direction and he is another possibility. (6) BOTTLE ROCKET is worth a look for the exotics coming out of New York Sires Stakes races.

Race 4: ONT SIRED 3YO FILLIES WHO HAVE STARTED IN 4 THE GRASSROOTS IN 2020 - Pick 4

(2) PIER HO KADO is on a roll and she gets post position advantage on her main rival (10) PROFOUND PARAGON who brings an even longer win streak to this race. Slight nod to the former but using both. (1) HIGHLAND FOXYTROTR is improving and she gets Gingras to drive here; upset chance. (8) MAGIC WANDA should be passing some fillies late and she can land in the Tri or Super.

Race 5: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10

(7) DREAMFAIR B J had a good rally going but he went too wide too early on the last turn. I'll try him to upset here with the driver switch to Young. (9) DOWN ON MY LUCK's race here two starts back was good and if he can blast for position, he should be in contention here. (6) TIGERS WAY tried to leave last week but others to his left were going too and that forced him to take a seat. Gingras could send him right down the road here. (1) ST LADS FLIRT two most recent starts were very good, and he is a sneaky contender in here; using.

Race 6: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 2 YO COLTS AND GELDINGS - Pick 5

(10) EIGHTEEN WHEELIN's sub-29 kickers in his last two starts indicate he is coming around and he might roll by these in deep stretch at a price. (3) HIGHLAND MOWGLI exits a fast race and he is going to get there one of these weeks. I expect an aggressive steer this time. (2) KILAUEA is coming around for a barn that excels in this sires stakes program and he would be no surprise here. (1) JULA MAGICIAN is another who is improving but I don’t love the inside post for him considering his past gait issues; demand a price.

Race 7: 2YO Fillies NW1 or $10,500 LT

(6) RENDEZVOUS dropped three seconds in her second start now she draws the best post and gets driver Roy for her first start over the big track; top call. (3) EXTRILLA HANOVER should be sharper here coming back much quicker and she is a multi-race must-use for me. (5) BUMP IN THE ROAD looks well-prepped for top connections and she is another in with a shot here. (7) IN HIGH COTTON is worth a look for the exotics on the barn change.

Race 8: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS 2 YO COLTS AND GELDINGS - Pick 4

(4) MOSCOW MOON showed what he could do in Grassroots company two starts back then was kept sharp racing in a conditioned race where he understandably couldn't close into a 56 3/5 back 1/2. I expect an aggressive approach with Grassroots points on the line. (5) LIFELONG WISH was an easy Grassroots winner coming off only two days rest last time and he is an obvious threat. (3) MOOSEONYOURCABOOSE faced tougher most of the year and he could pop here if he gets a good trip; using. (1) WARRAWEE WINDSOR is improving, and he can take a share here.

Race 9: PREFERRED

(8) HEY LIVVY is in tremendous form right now; top call despite post. (2) P L JILL was given an easier trip last time after being used hard to win the Earl Rowe from post 9 at Georgian. I imagine she will get more aggressive this week. (9) MASS FORTUNE K gets one of the best drivers for getting one revved up to leave from an outside post and he can get involved early and take a slice. (3) SUPERLATIVE also passes horses late and she could sneak into the Super at a big price.

Race 10: NW $5,000 L5 or $10,500 L10

(5) AMERICAN HUSTLE wasn't allowed to clear last week, but he hung in well considering the fractions. I'll stick with him here. (4) RAYS KREDIT gets McNair back after the trainer drove at a B track last time which is a formula that has worked already at this meet. He was hammered at the window that night that he won so tab the tote for clues. (7) MILITARY SECRET raced well for new connections off the claim last time and I'll use him in this late Pick 4. (1) HIDDEN DELIGHT had a race back after a long absence and he could wake up at a price now.

Race 11: ONT SIRED 3 YO FILLIES WHO HAVE STARTED IN THE GRASSROOTS IN 11 2020

(7) MOANA keeps winning and she keeps trotting faster. She's the one to beat but keep in mind the Grassroots Semi-Finals and Finals are fast approaching and there are no points at stake in this race. (3) YEN was game, but she just had too far to come to reach the choice last time. She is the logical alternative here. (6) ROCKADERO has improved sharply recently and she isn't without a chance here. (9) EMOTIONS DURABLES loses post advantage here and I'll use her underneath. (4) SHESWILDNFREE can take another slice racing from close range.
