(10) THE MOMENT AROSE had little chance against Grand Circuit company last time and he has dominated in both previous Grassroots starts. Leaving from the widest post will help his price; top call. (7) SHARKY is another that was in over his head last week that figures to improve here. He is the other one that I'll use in the Pick 5. (6) JOKER ON JACK is a bit sneaky in here because that last start in the slop is a toss and he was a good 2nd in a Grassroots three starts back; using underneath. (5) BETTER OPTION is typically around the money and he can take a slice here.

Race 2: CLM HDCP $15,000 to $20,000

(7) REAL WICKED got closer on the class drop last week and he looks best vs. this suspect group; top call. (5) ALLGONOWHOA tried a middle brush against a leader that was motoring and never going to give up the lead last week. His 0 for 29 record this year is uninspiring but this might be the spot where he can get off the schneid; using. (4) XTERNAL raced okay last week now he drops. He is another in with a shot here. (8) PARTYINTHESHADOWS picks up the leading driver racing off the claim here. I see him rallying late for a slice.

Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Fifth Leg 2YO Colts and Geldings

(3) REIGN SUPREME couldn't get his rally going last time simply because Stockade Seelster was pacing a sub-1:50 mile. This race figures to be much slower and he gets top billing vs. these. (4) THONG CONTROL fits much better in Grassroots company and he should be the main threat; using. (9) WALL STREET BELL qualified well for this and he showed earlier this year that he can win in Grassroots races. He could be the value play in here. (5) THE GOLDEN JET broke through with a huge win at Clinton after finishing 2nd in all previous starts and he is in the mix here looking for the repeat.

Race 4: Pop Up series NW $30,000 in 2022 AE: 1st Leg starters - Pick 4

(5) THEE DESPERADO got hammered last week at the windows with McNair taking over driving duties and he delivered. This spot is no tougher; call to repeat. (3) MAGNIFICENT SEVEN was a decent 3rd to the choice and he returns to a 7-day cycle here. He can be sharper tonight and he is the other one that I'll use on multi-race tickets. (1) VICTOR INVICTUS, 2nd to the choice last week, should be in the exotics mix again. He is an infrequent winner that is best used underneath. (6) WHAT A RUSH can close for another small share tonight.

Race 5: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Fifth Leg 2YO Colts and Geldings

$72,000 Lexington buy (5) FADE TO LIGHT, a 1/2-brother to Grand Circuit winner Fade Out, looks ready to roll and he will need to compile Grassroots points in a hurry with this late start to the season; top call. (7) HES A SWEETHEART has improved in his last three starts and he has upset potential here. (2) WATCHMAKER had an impossible parked out trip in Clinton but he stayed game to hold 2nd. He’s not out of this. (9) D A HOME STRETCH should be in the exotics mix if he stays pacing this week.

Race 6: 5YO and Younger NW2 or $20,000 LT - Pick 5

(7) SIMCOE SEELSTER improved last week but maybe went too fast, too soon. He can win here if he steals a breather. (4) CHOCOLATE PARFAIT has been good in every start and his big late kick should play well here; using. (3) POCAHONTAS drops out of Grand Circuit company and she should close for a share here. (9) HOW THE HELL can enter contention for a share if he stays flat tonight.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Fifth Leg 2YO Colts and Geldings - Pick 4

(3) AHI SUNSHINE just missed in a Gold race last time and he has been razor-sharp for a few weeks. He is the clear one to beat in Grassroots company. (10) VERDUN has come around quickly in his past two starts and he can be a threat here despite drawing widest. (4) NOTHING BETTOR can be in the exotics mix tonight getting post relief; using underneath. (1) BETTOR BEA TERROR is a good one to use on the bottom of Tri and Super bets in this spot.

Race 8: CLM HDCP $8,500 to $10,000

(5) THUNDERING JIM appears to face an easier field that he beat last week and he is the one to beat. (2) MACH ART IN MOTION beat the choice three starts back and he goes for Moreau off the claim here. He should be the main threat. (4) SIR GALAHAD comes in sharp and races off the claim and he is no stranger to this track, having won 3 times in 11 starts here. He has upset potential. (7) MILITARY SECRET got a tough trip when he got claimed out of a Women's Drivers race last time. He has missed some time but he should be in the exotics mix here.

Race 9: OPEN HANDICAP

(7) FORBIDDEN TRADE was locked in too long in the Maple Leaf Trot to threaten the top two. In this short Open field, he should get the job done tonight. (1) COOL MUSCLE was visibly flying down the lane last week but he ran out of racetrack. He jumps up several classes which means he will get ignored at the windows. He could provide some exotics value here. (6) HP ROYAL THEO is as sharp as a tack and he should be in the mix again tonight; using underneath. (5) AHUNDREDDOLLARBILL is better than he showed last week but he could get overbet again. I'll play to beat him out of the Tri.

Race 10: CLM HDCP $22,000 to $30,000

(6) MODERN ROCK is in peak form and he comes off a gritty first up win; call to repeat. (4) LEGAL BETTOR got overbet last week but he did race okay to be 3rd in a fast race. He should be a threat here. (1) SKYLAR has improving form and he will probably be in the outer flow and rally for a slice here. (7) PLAY JET RAY is on fire but he was claimed by a trainer that is 3 for 40 this year and 4 for 103 lifetime. I'll play to beat him. (10) CENTURY GIGALO is right there most weeks and he can land in the High-5 despite drawing widest.
