(1) FRIDO PV gets a barn and driver change here and I could see him landing in the choice's pocket early and riding a good trip to an Exacta finish. (5) MEADOWBRANCH NOBLE was flying late last week but he still didn't get close to the choice. He is at the mercy of pace and trip usually. (7) OKEANOS is another that was closing well late in that race and he is worth a look for the Super. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: DREAM MAKER FINAL 2YO (4) MANY MOONS is clearly the fastest horse in here and he should convert at a short price. (2) TRUE BLUE LINDY was 2nd to the choice on 7/26 then came back to win last week when that rival sat out waiting for the final. He is the logical alternative if you are trying to beat the choice. (5) NAUTICAL HANOVER rarely misses the board and he should be part of the Tri again. (3) ATLAS HANOVER looks next best. He should be part of the Tri or Super. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Mohawk Park card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: NW $8,500 L5 or $17,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $25,000 Tough race here. (4) JUMPSHOT should find this field easier than the Preferred 2s that he has been contesting recently and I'll give him a slight nod. (2) FREE WILLY HANOVER looked good winning last week and this isn't the toughest NW $8,500 L5 field. He could double up. (3) BUZZ was in against tougher despite racing at this same level last week. I think he can be right there vs. these. (7) MISTER OF ALL qualified decently for trainer/driver Hudon and he is in with a shot. Race 4: F&M CLM HDCP $12,000 to $16,000 - Pick 4 (9) VINES TO HEAVEN goes back to Moreau and she was a big winner two starts back racing out of that barn. I'll give her the nod despite drawing widest. (6) T C SCANDAL raced huge to win last week uncovered on the rim and she is a definite threat here. (2) BEHAVENMYSELF shows a win every other race pattern and she gets Roy back tonight. She isn't out of this. (4) REAR VIEW should be good for another small share here Race 5: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 3YO COLTS and GELDINGS (1) LOGAN PARK tuned up for this stretching his legs vs. some tough older horses after missing three weeks and that should set him up perfectly for this Gold try; top call. (11) FASHION FRENZIE is clearly one of the best in here and he could get a great trip following the choice; using. (2) FULL OF MUSCLES, undefeated this year, steps into the deep end but he is much-improved and he has a shot in here. (5) PUBLICITY SEEKER is right there every race and his good tactical speed is a bonus; using. Race 6: NW $18,500 L5 or $28,000 L10 or NW $120K LT AE: OPT CLM $50K - Pick 5 (3) MEMO will take beating here as the likely big chalk dropping out of the top class. (2) NIMBUS DEO should be closer early here leaving from an inside post and she is an Exacta factor, (1) GRANDMA HEIDI rarely misses the board and she should be in the Tri here despite losing McNair to the choice. (6) O NARUTAC PERFETTO provided perfect cover for the winner last time and still almost lasted. He is another that should be part of the exotics. Race 7: 3YO NW1 or $8,300 LT (5) U R ASURPRISE TOME was game right to the wire last week despite having to make several moves in a race that was full of action. I'll give him the nod vs. these. (4) PETER POOLE wasn't far behind much better in a Grassroots race last time and he stacks up well in this maiden field; using. (7) PACK YOUR BAGS has improving form and Roy should get him a good trip racing on our near the front. He is another live option here. (6) MELODY MAKER can pass a few of these late and land in the Super. Race 8: NW3 (F&M5) or $50,500 LT - Pick 4 (4) TYMAL TAROT raced well with Henry in the bike last week and he is a threat to go all the way tonight. (8) IGLARE AM raced large last week and survived an inquiry to win but she was clearly best and she should contend here despite moving up one level. (1) RITSON is an obvious contender again but I don't love the 1-hole for him. I'd need a price. (3) WARRAWEE WHISPER never misses the Super it seems and he should be in the mix again leaving from a good post. Race 9: F&M Claiming $18,000 for NW $80,000 LT (7) ROCKINWITHCUSTARD was plucked out of last week's good effort by Auciello who has a 25% strike rate with fresh claims in 2021. I'll give her the nod over (4) HALLSGLENSMAVIS, who took a new life's mark when she beat the choice last week. (2) ZAR E IP showed some zip late in the mile last week. She can take a share here. (8) KOUNNIS fits better in a claimer and I see her landing in the tri or Super tonight. Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter Race 10: NW $12,000 L5 or $24,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $35,000 (2) COOL MUSCLE used three races at Grand River in the top class to get in form and he gets Macdonell for this in what looks like a good spot for him; top call. (6) REFI got back on track with a nice score vs. lesser but this isn't much tougher and he should contend here; using. (5) ALL WRAPPED UP was a perfect trip winner at this level two starts back. He fits well in this class and he can be right there vs. these. (1) DANCER HALL figures to land in the Tri or Super on the class drop tonight. Race 11: 4YO and Younger NW2 or $18.700 LT (7) SOUTHBEACH HANOVER is likely going to be overbet here off his last start but he can lead all the way if he duplicates that effort; top call. (5) NELSONEDDY HANOVER’s last start is a toss considering he had broken equipment. He is an interesting price play here with Henry taking over the reins. (2) HESINCONTROL can get a better trip tonight and he is a good one to use in the Tri. (4) KOUNT BLASTER prevailed vs. easier. I'll use him on the bottom tonight. (8) FLASH CUBE is worth a look coming off a decent effort in Grassroots company.
