(6) RHYTHM OF LIFE comes out of the fastest races so far but lacks a win. Has shown speed early, has just been tagged late. This group may not be able to catch her. (3) SUE ANNE has shown the ability to pass horses in the stretch in both starts. She looked beaten in last and kicked 28 2/5 late to get up. (2) FLIRTY DANCER moves inside after sharp win last week with 28 2/5 kick. She's won two of three so far and Jones returns. (5) KARENS DREAM gets a driver switch after showing speed at times during her four starts. Needs more late.

Race 2: Claiming Handicap $25-$35,000

(3) QUAN BLUE CHIP is back in form right now with two straight off the pace rallies. He should be closer early from this post and start that rally in time to win. (7) JM JACK OF HEARTS has won two straight for Hensley using his speed. He looks fastest early again but is inconsistent at times, and odds will be much lower now. (8) I AMA ROCKET I've liked in his last two but he hasn't been able to overcome the outside post. He's in play because he's won fourteen races in the last two years but needs more right now. (5) PERSISTENT CHANGE gets a trainer, venue and class change. That may be enough to get him involved.

Race 3: OSS GRASSROOTS Leg 3 2 YO FILLY TROT

(2) TEA LAKE looks the one to beat with a move inside and speed in all three starts. She dug in late in last but lost to repeater that got a trip. (1) CLEVELAND MISSKA was far back on debut but kicked 28 late to grab a check despite trouble. Improvement likely. (9) GAMING QUEEN tried first up last week vs choice here and stayed on until late. Post switch here but she's shown early speed in all three starts. (6) GO HAVE FUN has experience and ability to finish miles. If she’s closer early and can finish sub 28 again she gets involved.

Race 4: NW $8,000 Last 5 starts. AE: Not Avg $1,765 PS in 2023 AE: Opt Clm $45,000 AE: Starters for a purse $12,000 or less L3 - Pick 4

(5) GIGONDAS gets the right spot to dictate the pace early and Mcnair back. He's won six races this year already after none last year. (9) OKEANOS has become much more consistent despite limited starts this year. Last two kicks of 28 2/5 and 28 1/5 play well at this level. (7) HANG ON BABY needed last, gets a drop to winning level from 2/20. She won twelve last year. (3) ALL WRAPPED UP has been finishing up miles but has been too far back early. Capable at this level when in the mood, use in multi leg wagers.

Race 5: Horses that have started for a purse of $9,000 or less in one of last four starts. W/O $6,000 L5 N/E AE: N/W $2800 L3 starts

(3) HESINCONTROL has to win this right? Back class, better post and speed to roll early coming out of faster races. (7) LETS TIE ONE ON was bet to sub 3-1 in last but was too far back. He showed speed two starts back vs a classy foe at Grand River. (9) BETTORBEFLYIN has become a share type this year with typical late rallies. Racing well at Georgian despite poor draws vs similar horses. (1) MR BEAST gets back to big track after being too far back in two Grand River starts. Three and four back lines here play better.

Race 6: Winners of 2 but NM than 4 Races or $45,000 Life AE: 4 & 5 YO Claiming $50,000 Trot - Pick 5

(4) CLIMB THE POLE has faced tough foes in her last two. Winner on 7/10, won last week and 7/16 runner up is a stakes type. She's speedy and improved just needs to stay flat. (5) SILLY ME HANOVER only has one start this year in May which resulted in a win at this level. She's back with two qualifiers in tow looking to roll late again. (7) SAUNDRA won $255,000 last year with only one win. She's been solid at this level so far this season, kicked 28 in last. (9) SNOWPIERCER was favored at this level on 7/24 but raced even. Won here on 6/27 when showing speed. Will he leave early now? Will be a better price to be sure.

Race 7: OSS GRASSROOTS Leg 3 2 YO FILLY TROT - Pick 4

(1) R LIZA has been impressive so far in two starts. Won well first out in Grassroots then led a long way in a Gold on 7/27. Even the rail didn't bother her in last. (4) BIRTHDAY MONEY has beaten most of these already despite increases in tote price on 7/31. Should be up close again. I liked (9) WEST RIVER IVORY in latest but she couldn't quite reach. Post could limit chances to share only. (7) LOVE THOSE LEGS was 2.7-1 on debut after even preps. She busted at the start there, now gets Roy back.

Race 8: NW $25,100 L5 or NW $35,000 L10 starts AE: NW $25,000 in 2023 AE: Opt. Clm $65,000

(6) PIKACHU HANOVER won at this level on 7/18 with McNair putting him right on the front. I think he blasts again and wires these. (1) TRUFFLES TOO is sharp right now climbing the ladder. May need to tuck here with all the speed. Looks fast enough to contend. (5) ONEY HALL got a rare ten hole trot win here 7/31 and now steps back up. His best plays at any level here, quirks sometimes can show up when he gets around the last turn. (8) MIDNIGHT MIRACLE is hard to fault off recent form. Nice win on 8/1 with 27 1/5 kick. Should get speed to chase.

Race 9: Free For All Trot Handicap

(1) PEMBERTON switched pilots on 7/24 and produced a 1:52 1/5 mile. He has supreme talent and now hits top level again looking for top choices to duel early. (6) FASHION FRENZIE needed last, gets back on regular rotation. Looks to blast and beat (7) LOGAN PARK to the front here. That one has seven wins and nine exactas in nine starts but somehow ends up third on this page. Capable of ultra-fast miles. (5) ADARE CASTLE steps back up after sharp Preferred win 7/31. She's a stakes mare taking on the boys because she’s made so much money.

Race 10: Claiming Handicap $12-16,000

(10) MILITARY SECRET was dominating at this level prior to claim. Two races at Rideau didn't show much so now he returns and changes barns. Speed coming from wide draw. (6) LANCASTER BOMBER has won here in the past but hasn't raced since September. He adds Lasix after two preps. (4) ARTISTIC PICK gets new barn after claim 7/31. He used to come from off the pace but was close in last two. Needs a trip. (3) MACH IMPACT chased a chalky winner 7/31 after closing 26 4/5 the week prior. Worth using in multis at a price. (9) PROCRASTINATOR finished up well 7/31 but draws wide again. He takes $ at this level but share seems more likely.
