Race 1: F&M CLM HDCP $10,000 to $15,000 **GTD $75,000 Pick 5**

(9) PATRICKS COOKIE was scooped up by Moreau as soon as she dropped in for a tag last week now she gets Roy who has been hot recently; speed blast coming? (7) HIGHMOON SUNSHINE has obviously found her best level and she is the one to beat as she seeks a threepeat. (6) MISS ROCKADALI races off the fresh claim for a barn that can move one up immediately. She's the third one that I'll use in this Pick 5. (5) FERN HILL BELLA made a mild last move last week and she can sneak into the Tri or Super here.

Race 2: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD GRASSROOTS STARTERS IN 2020

(7) RIPPED AND READY is on a roll and picking up McClure to drive here won't hurt; top call. (8) ROYALTYS ODYSSEY was game in defeat last week in a blanket finish and he should offer a good price again; using. (3) ONGOING ROYALTY is sure to be well placed early and he could trip out in this spot. He is another possibility. (2) MR ARCH is typically a fringe player and he is a good one to use to round out the Super.

Race 3: 3YO NW1 or $7,000 LT

(7) BEACH DEMON shouldn't be involved in any 25 2/5 opening quarter in this race and I can see him moving up sharply against this group; slight nod. (6) MENLO PARK made a couple of moves and just missed. He should be the one to beat. (2) DO YOU SEE IT qualified well enough for this to suggest he can contend at first asking. I'll toss him in the Pick 5. (3) MODERN ROCK is starting to come around racing against maidens. He should land in the Super again.

Race 4: NW $5,000 L5 or $12,500 L10 - Pick 4

This race should come down to a battle of the Auciello class-droppers and I'll side with (1) SEVEN IRON who shows an easy win for NW $6,000 L5 last time he raced close to this level. (2) NOTHING BUT MUSCLE didn't expend much energy after starting from the 9-hole last week and he has a recency edge on his stablemate. It makes sense to price shop between these two. (8) HIGHLAND DYNAMITE rallied nicely last week, and I see her coming on for a share here. (6) MR CONTESTANT is another class dropper who can wake up here; consider for the exotics at a price.

Race 5: DREAM MAKER - 2ND LEG - 2 YEAR OLDS

(5) CAPTAINOFROCKNROLL has been sharp in both starts and he gets a perfect post here that gives him some options leaving the gate; top call. (4) ISLAND BEACH BOY rolled by in the lane last week to take the fastest mark of any in this race to this point and he should be right there again. (7) TWIN B EDGE overcame a miscue to win going away at The Meadows and he is hard to leave off multi-race tickets. (10) KEYSTONE CATALYST raced well in both starts and he should contend for at least a share here.

Race 6: NW $12,000 L5 or $24,000 L10 or NW $85,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $30,000 - Pick 5

(2) BIG RICH gets to drop another class level after just failing to last vs. better last week. Catch him to greet the cashier. (8) PERFETTO steps up off a gutsy win and he will likely be winding up from the back turning for home here, but he is good enough to pass most of these; Exacta factor. (1) HEMI SEELSTER raced well for Baillargeon last week and he should be part of the Tri or Super here. (6) CRUSING IN STYLE was fortunate that the runner-up ran into him just at the point he was going to go by nearing the wire. These are tougher; using on the bottom.

Race 7: NW 5 (F&M7) or $70,000 (F&M $87,500) LT

(9) VILLEFRANCHE AS is about two seconds the fastest in here based on her July 6th win but she has missed time now due to sickness. The absence and getting the 9-hole should boost her price and I'll give her the nod over (4) HP BRUXELLES who led every step but the last one in this class last week. (5) SIMSALABIM is interesting here taking on elders because he has a big closing kick that could play well in this spot. (10) C T CONABRA should take a slice here if he stays flat this time.

Race 8: CLM HDCP $25,000 to $30,000 - Pick 4

(7) JULERICA has been on fire recently and he likely wins and gets claimed again here. (6) OCEANVIEW MAGNUM beat a decent field at Georgian and he should be the main danger here. (5) BIG BANG BOOM lost all hope when he made an uncharacteristic break at Grand River. He can rebound here. (1) CHEAPSKATE HANOVER is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics making his second start back.

Race 9: NW $8,000 L5 or $16,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $20,000

(6) BUZZ has a good chance to control the pace on the class drop here and he gets my nod. (3) DUNBAR HALL raced better last week, trying tougher first up and he is one I think you need on your late Pick 4 ticket. (8) DANCER HALL is an obvious contender on the class drop, but I'm not sure what kind of a trip he'll get starting from out there; demand a price. (1) HP TITANIA RUNNER rarely misses a check and she should take a slice here starting from the inside.

Race 10: NW $12,000 L5 or $24,000 L10 or NW $85,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $30,000

This is a class that (4) TREASURED TEE fits well and if he is sharp enough after missing time, he will be tough. (1) WHITE TIGER is starting to come around and he could be a blur trotting down the middle of the track this week. (5) MISTER MAGIC is an enigma in that you know if he trots, he will be tough to beat. It's tough to take a short price on him, however. (7) CUE HALL was game in defeat last week, but these are tougher. I'll use him on the bottom.

Race 11: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10

(6) MACHIN A TRICK drew in off the AE list. He gets Roy back here and the best post and he could upset in this spot. (9) LONE WOLF TERROR changes tactics last week and paced a great mile in defeat, he was just out too long. He should be an Exacta factor here. (3) SCOUTS REPORT was decent in this class last week and he can take a good share here racing from close range. (2) CROFT BAY N is capable of landing in the Super with a more conservative drive. (4) SPORTS AUTHORITY brings some good form in from Ottawa. Give him a look for the High-5.
