(5) TRU BLU HYPNOTIC was in a bad spot last week, trying to rally off excess cover and catch a class dropper who was accelerating in the late stages of the mile. He fits much better vs. these and finishing 6th will help his price. I'll stick with him one more time. (7) HERVEY HANOVER also got a tough trip in that race, going first up trying to chase down that unyielding leader. He should have a big shot tonight. (4) JKNR LIKETELL won at a price last time he raced this low and he is worth using in the Pick 5. (2) SOMETIME SOMEWHERE is in his easiest spot in a while here but he could get overbet and his August 13th line is ugly. His best wins this but he seems risky as an underlay.

Race 2: NW3 (F&M5) or $40,000 LT

(6) RESOLUTE BAY won well vs. Grassroots foes last week and tonight’s probable pace scenario favors his style; top call. (5) KEVIN ANTHONY looked good closing down the centre of the track for 3rd last week and if he can pass them all if he gets the right setup; using. (7) HANDSOME SEBASTIAN comes in off a stellar NW2 score, but this is tougher and I see him rallying for a share. (3) SOUTHWIND DOMINO is always in the mix for a share; using underneath.

Race 3: CLM HDCP $22,000 to $30,000

(9) JULERICA goes right back to Moreau after racing once and failing for Fellows off the claim. A rebound is expected; top call. (5) CENTURY GIGALO shoots for a double after being claimed by Auciello and he is the most likely beneficiary if the choice throws another clunker tonight; using. (6) ALWAYS A HOTSHOT is interesting in for a tag here because his best smokes these but there are obvious red flags. He is worth using at the right price. (1) ALLGONOWHOA got a terrible trip last week bottled up most of the way and he eventually gave up in the lane. I can see him cracking the exotics at a big price tonight.

Race 4: NW $15,000 L5 or $29,000 L8 or NW $120,000 LT AE: Starters for a purse of $16,000 L5 - Pick 4

(7) MACHO MARTINI had too much to do late in the mile last week. Getting off the rail post should help here and he gets top billing. (8) COOL MUSCLE comes to play every week and he should be the one to catch again. (4) MUSCLE FASHION took advantage of a perfect trip last week to get the job done and he is in the mix again. I thought (6) HP ROYAL THEO should have won last week when the pocket sitter broke on the last turn but he couldn’t convert. I'll use him underneath here.

Race 5: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Fifth Leg 3YO Colts and Geldings

(8) KAPORAL Is the fastest and seemingly sharpest horse in here and he will be a single for me. (9) SIP OF BOURBON wasn't beaten far by the choice last time and he will likely be the main threat here despite drawing wide. (2) CALLED IN SICK is improving and he will likely get another good trip here and hit the ticket. (3) GREYSTONE IAN O should be able to latch onto cover this time and he can sneak into the exotics at a price.

Race 6: CLM HDCP $8,500 to $10,000 - Pick 5

(4) BETTOR NOTBITTER A drops and he has a good shot to pop against these; top call. (6) MACH ART IN MOTION closed relentlessly last week to get the job done and he should contend for a good share tonight. (7) THE AMAZINGSANDO races well fresh and he takes a big drop but his qualifier doesn't inspire confidence. I'd watch the tote board for clues with him. (8) THUNDERING JIM is worth a look racing off the Moreau claim and he should offer a square price.

Race 7: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GRASSROOTS Fifth Leg 3YO Colts and Geldings - Pick 4

(7) DREAMFAIR ARNIE B took a sub-1:50 mark racing between Grassroots starts and he is likely just too fast for these right now. (1) TWIN B JAMMER has a win and a 2nd in his last two Grassroots starts and he can be an Exacta factor tonight, too. (4) PERSISTANT BOY has been right there in every start except the one that he broke stride. He figures to be part of this Tri racing close to the front throughout. (2) SPORTY M THREE's recent form is very good and he should be in the exotics mix here.

Race 8: Pop-Up series starters

Good betting race here. (3) YES gets off the rail tonight and a more aggressive drive is expected; slight nod. (7) ANDY OVER surged past the choice and the rest of the field late to get up at a price last week. He has strung good races together in the past and he could be an overlay tonight; using. (4) HESOHOT HANOVER was trotting in a completely different gear than his rivals in the final 1/8th last week and he fits okay here. A repeat win would not be a shock. (1) TEXACO MAN likely rallies too late here again and I'll use him on the bottom.

Race 9: NW $3,000 L5 or $8,000 L10 AE: Starters for a purse of $9,000 or Less L3

(4) STONEBRIDGE REX drops to the bottom conditioned level here and he should have a big shot racing on the engine. (2) DONTPOKETHEDRAGON couldn't be any sharper right now for a hot barn and he could give the choice all he wants tonight; using. (5) POINTOMYGRANSON raced better last week and he usually stays sharp for a few starts once he gets good. He should be in the Tri again. (6) ILLGETMYOWN THANKS loomed then hung last week. A small share is likely for him tonight.

Race 10: CLM HDCP $15,000 to $20,000

(3) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ took a lot of action last week and he never really got involved and didn't get a very good trip. Dropping to the bottom claiming level here, Roy need only keep him in the clear then show him racetrack in the lane to get the job done. (8) PLAY JET RAY is the other dropper in here and he should have position on the choice when they turn for home. He is the other one that I'll use on multi-race tickets. (4) STATE OF PLAY is improving but he is likely to close late for another slice here; using underneath. (2) VICIOUS ALOICIOUS should sit close to the lead again tonight and stick around for a share. (1) TRIDENT SEELSTER parlayed some racing luck into a big win last week. I'll use him on the bottom tonight.
